Power Drift meets Choro Q, even the track has similar rollercoaster feel.Would benefit from additional theme park or historic site (like Easter Island) tracks on its future DLC.

I have to say the original 2097 had peak handling for this kind of game. I have not played the remasters.. But every over wipeout game I have played since has been horrible. The comment about snappy handling is a huge turn off. The whole fun of 2097 was its imperfections. & the sluggish drifting it had really sold the magnetic track feel.

This game seems like it'll be so sick! I will probably be holding off for the 1.0 release, but this game looks so amazing. Oh and if you weren't aware, there was another game going for the F-Zero X feel called Super Pilot. It has been around a little longer than Aero GPX, but it's also still in early access.

Think of this like a checkpoint of sorts for anybody to enjoy and mark down games if they love AG (anti-gravity) racing games. This is my personal list of all the AG (Anti-gravity) games I could find (that I think are of note); use an emulator to play some if you can't do it officially and look up cheat codes, manuals and see if there's DLC for some of the games. If you want wipeout style gameplay but on PC, give ballisticng a try, it has 3 physics models for you to play, 2159 which is inspired by the ps1 games, 2280 which is similar to omega collection, and floor hugger, which behaves similar to wipeout fusion. Also the ships that were made for the game natively support cockpit view and VR

Actually just got MK8 Deluxe + DLC and have been having plenty of fun trying to 100% it. Your video perfectly reflects everything so amazing about this culmination of MK8. Love the video!

I was really disappointed with 8's initial release. After all the updates, the game really turned into one deserving the "Best Mario Kart Ever Made" title. I do still have a few tiny gripes (item balance/missed opportunities/track level design), but they're all miniscule to the amount of praise I could give it at this point.

I just marvel how imaginative the level design is, something that doesn't come automatically with newer graphics.

"We have Unbound at home." Unbound at home: I know the artstyle isn't for everyone but NFS fandom back then would hate on anything that isn't Most Wanted. Some even now. 360/PS3 is an era of edgyness and Wii's mere presence is the very bane of those so-called hardcore gamers' existence. I played this on emulator with keyboard and it was already a breath of fresh air, but when I got a Wii and played it with Wiimote it somehow becomes extremely addictive! And this is supposed to be a party game in which the Career is just copy-pasted races! Also I usually hate Teslas for what they represent but tell me in the eyes that Tesla shooting out LIGHTNING as nitro is not cool. Oh BTW, soundtrack is ASTRONOMICALLY better than whatever shit is in Unbound.

The arcade game was the best : sound, textures, shaders, everything.

I'm still playing the game regularly, it's just too addictive. I wish there are less bots and less punishment for when you crash out or don't beat any rivals (the progress loss is big at above S). Maybe more tracks and random generating tracks such as the X cup in F-Zero X would be perfect. I'm probably asking too much though, as the game is basically kind of "free". What we got is a superb game. EDIT: Oh, by the way, please, remove Team Battle. We'll get more often Classics, Mini Prix, etc. It's so much better.

I've played this game a few years back & I loved it. Specifically for all the creative maps like the Hot Wheels World Race & Acceleracers maps, growing up I was a Hot Wheels collector and getting to drive one of the cars on a track made by another fan sold me instantly.

The Wipeout games are better.

Distance is a great game it's good to see it getting some new attention, I see you didn't mention the secret crab campaign that has you jumping through more hoops than it takes to get the interceptor.

Looks a lot like thumper

Very good game this, that doesn't get much attention. I remember describing it as a horror/racing game at the time, with elements of Thumper to it. Quite unique and I doubt we'll see anything else like it in the near future. Thanks for the video reminding me of it.

This is the one review I've seen that really covers just about everything you can experience in this game. The amount of content is insane. I got 5000 hours in this one game it's that big.
