Sorry, I don't fully understand what you are asking. That being said, I was able to get it to almost 100% fit in the Surface AirTag Adhesive Mount but it was not 100%. I did reach out (a few times) to them to see if they wanted to collaborate and also if they had anything coming out specifically for the Moto Tag --- radio silence.

@@IllinoisDailyCarry Fair on that as well for me. Sometimes I'll just do a take over again and have it have less gaps, lol. I was just editing out a lot of them for work so it's been on my mind a lot. xD Also, at the very least, the link for the 4-pack of Samsung Tags doesn't work atm. Cheers!

@@IllinoisDailyCarry Yup, but I am not able to find any mention of it online. All they mentioned about is using on items where you lost them and last location and UWB helps in accurate tracking. I know of parents using airtags on their child so if they gotten lost, the parent is able to find them. There are lots of such cases from a parent forum I am in. Bluetooth isn't going to be useful in area like a huge theme park or zoo where the kids could be running around. If my Bluetooth can find them, I can already see them.

@@IllinoisDailyCarry did some search on UWB and it seems to have 3 great advantage on UWB which I think makes a difference between the find my devices. 1. UWB has much longer than and detection, it is accurate till 50m but detection till at least 200m. 2. UWB has faster detection with a test comparing one of the model to Bluetooth. UWB is in MS with speed 1000x faster than Bluetooth. 3. Android Bluetooth system also require multiple devices to register the tag. Thus considering the above, a tag in android network might not be registered before it leaves the Bluetooth range of multiple devices.

@@IllinoisDailyCarry dope. I'm keeping a Samsung tag in my shopping cart but awaiting your video for tile! Subscriptions are a huge turn off for me though. I wish other ones had recharging cables. It's a pain to swap batteries and wonder if it's got enough juice

I prefer replaceable batteries, means you don't have to buy a new tracker in the future when the battery dies

It's not necessary in any device, just allows for much better location of lost tags.

​​@@IllinoisDailyCarryUWB is close Range Wide Signal allowing for more accurate range and elevation detection atm BT is just Rough Range based on Signal Quality. Bluetooth 6.0 will have similar feature baked in to the Standard like LE is with Bluetooth v5.4

No earthly idea. Since it would depend on what the starting temperature is, and what temperature threshold we equate to significant for you.

Let me know what you want for a starting temp and I can throw a flashlight on high for a little and see if anything happens.

@@IllinoisDailyCarry lets say standard room temperature tap water in any cup from the cabinet. And just leave the light on until it dies and see how much, if any, the temperature rose.

@@PhongNguyen-me8qk Standard room temperature is kind of an oxy moron. When I Google it said "around" 68F. I would guess it takes way too long to be viable.

Beats me, haha. You may see it in the video but I couldn't figure out how to get it to work, and there is nothing in there official instructions or FAQ page. Seems like vaporware currently, but could be an AndroidOS limitation.

Sadly none of the Google FindMy devices do.

It uses the SmartThings app. Possibly via AOSP/SDK, but not sure how you would track without the relevant radios. A fun conundrum to figure out. I know I've seen folks turn their Flipper into their Apple AirTag via some Bluetooth Sniffing/Spoofing. Gotta be possible; if there is a will...

@@IllinoisDailyCarry I would expect the cheap spring clip that comes with the Pebblebee Clip to break but not the case of the device itself. I think this is going to problematic for them. Best I can hope for is they replace it. I bought it to compare against a Samsung Smarttag 2 so I don't care that it broke. I'm now interest in seeing what kind of support I get. I'll post an update.

@IllinoisDailyCarry Nominal voltage for rechargable lithium ion batteries is 3.6-3.7V. Those are RCR123A/16340 batteries. Non rechargeable CR123 (without R at beginning) is operating at 3V.

Totally worth downloading just for the Sphere.

One could carry the Baton Turbo, but the Sphere...yea, that would be an interesting daily carry. "Is that an Olight Sphere in your pocket?"

Without a spoiler alert. If you are looking to grab one for now, I'd say go with the SmartTag2 if you like the Samsung ecosystem otherwise I'd get the moto tag. The results from this test are surprising me though, I'll tell ya that.

I haven't gotten my hands on the Nitecore MT2A Pro, but on paper it definitely looks like it would a tough competitor to beat. I'll have to reach out to my Nitecore contact to see if she can get me one to compare the two. 2Way Clip, 1000 Lumen, IP68, etc. all make it sound like quite a great little torch. Love seeing comments from a channel I'm a fan of.
