Origins is still an amazing game that I love to play to this day. It's a shame that bioware couldn't keep it up and had to try to sell out for an agenda that doesn't make them sell at all

I know Veilguard wasn’t perfect, but I liked it! Did it fit with the dark fantasy theme? No, but really the team was moving away from that since Origins. They fired every single writer that worked on Veilguard after the projections came out, even well seasoned veterans.

Multiple leakers have come out to youtubers like smashjt and said ea never expects this game to make its money back, its actual sales were around 800,000, and that over its entire lifetime so 10 years into the future to only ever sell 3 million copies max

Bioware has not seemed to have capacity to do more than one main game development phase at time for over a decade, and seem to be shrinking after failures, so only working on one game is hardly a change. Plus their development length of recent games are massively overstated since over half that time is small teams throwing around concepts, setting art style, writing story, and reports of at least some major shifts from earlier concepts. The risk is more their process has been broken for so long it seems questionable if can produce a polished game enough people want to justify budget. Given how much of a mess it sounds like their last few projects have been, if you were an executive would you trust them to start a new project today, or would you want to evaluate more on how should go forward with existing IP and what staff changes may be necessary if decide to.

Obviously you haven't gotten good enough with both cause I play m&k and controller (with aim assist off it's trash trust me) and both are good and bad on their respective ways it's literally just the cheaters that ruin the game not other platforms

If you have controller enabled as input you can only play with controller players, and vise versa this has been a thing since mw2 2022

CoD is a controller game. Aim assist is stronger on controller so everyone uses one

The game is still great, but it is far from being a game that would move the masses. It took too long to make, news after news would come in the last 10 years about it being about Solas, than it being a live service game, people simply lost interest and the game was good but not great enough to attract people who, at some point, simply got tired

No way in hell the game sold 1.5 million copies. I would be surprised if it reached 1 million copies.

Im politically left, I support all kinds of folks... but the first time I was exposed to the new Dragon Age, was the steam listing that said it was an LGBTQ+ - Action - RPG.... and I was like... da fuq? I honestly believe steams user generated tags sank this game, they should sue steam, and steam should get their game category shit together...

People want a dark and gritty open ended rpg. People want baldurs gate 4
