This brings back many fond memories of my childhood. I had an O-Gauge Lionel Santa Fe Train set and my friend across the street had an HO set. I don't remember much about my friends Layout though. This was back in 1956-1957. We spent many hours playing with them.

Omg!! At first I thought it said Bipolar not blue polar. I love it. I bought the large O scale battery run Harry potter train with remote ans loved it. Yes my kids are grown now but I am going to start setting it all up again for my grandkids.. I has made it all worth it through the years to hear my daughters tell me that was their best memories from Christmas as a kid.. I love that..

And 200.00 dollars for the new cabooses made by lionel is crazy, for that price it better have a smoke unit and alot of action and opening doors and crew people inside of the caboose and a person holding a lantern in there hand moving it

Lionel is way out of control with there prices, and and I fell Lionel is Is favoring the rich people and do not care about anyone else at all and have poor quality control because of how cheaply made there new products are and all there problems they are having with there 1700.00 to 3000.00 plus dollars, when they brought the tryplex back out 3 years ago if I remember correctly, they have alot of problems with them when they came out with the pipes breaking off and other stuff and all. I will buy the older used Lionel items

There's a difference between O gauge and O scale. O scale is for model railway's and O gauge is train go around Christmas tree.

So cool! These layouts are so diverse and superb. They give me some ideas for my layout, which I need to get going on the scenery. It was humorous to see you on that rotating pad, for sure. There are a number of O gauge RUclipsrs that feature the Milwaukee Road and Wisconsin, in general. My dad was born and raised in Columbus, WI, in 1912 and was a Badger alum. I haven't been back since I was a little boy. I'll have to make the Pilgrimage next year. An excellent video, as always.

So I have the serial cable along with the SCR2 along with the USB adapter to make everything work, going to the base three I cannot figure out how to make a TCC engine or a legacy engine operate using the WTIU Has anybody figured this out yet?

When we first heard about this at the store we couldn't wait for the release. This is an awesome game changer for the hobby. We can't wait to get ours for the store and show everyone this is a must have device. Thank you so much for a great video and explanation. And you are right, we show kids they can run their DC trains from their phones and they become hooked on the hobby.

Thanks for sharing, nicely done. I’m still not happy with Mike Wolf and the debacle he put the company through. Thousands of people bought and supported MTH and for whatever reason he sold off the company to Lionel, Atlas. What was left the employees stepped and bought in on what was left of MTH. They saved the company.

interesting but I hope one day mth/atlas make dead rail locos that run on battery. no more track cleaning and no more electrical faults and you just re-charge the battery once it runs out.

Have the original DCS System along with the Lionel tmcc,works just fine for me but getting further away from the 3 rail O scale market,switching to more realistic G scale 2 rail using the Railpro battery system,and will be looking into the Blunami system since it will work on regular DC power.

I still don’t understand Mike Wolf’s deal. He had an o gauge company and he wanted to buy Lionel. I heard he even had Lionel on his mantel in stone. Then he sold his company but still has his company? Does he make and sell O, HO, DCC? It’s good to be focused.
