Any chance to get the Bevis and Butthead arcade game on this system? I heard that it's for the 3DO system. But I'm not a sure if it's for the 3DO system, or the Atari Jaguar. I've been wanting to play that game, but only a few arcades exist that are still functioning. Does anyone have any info about it being ported?

Really love this mod… I modded my final fight about two years ago… and it has been rock solid running retro arch and I mapped all my buttons with an EG starts button and joystick kit from Amazon… got the cab for $200 on sale and all miscellaneous parts were about $100 and some time and patience… really solid video… this is dope

I first heard of 3DO all the way back in early 2000s when I purchased a pirated copy of Road Rash pc port where the cover art mentioned RoadRash 3D. I was like where is the 3d? the bikes look like textures. Ah good old days.

Stop LYING to people, Mortal Kombat was NEVER the "one game" that caused some outrage with hyper religious conservatives in congress, that was the was Sega of America's 90s management presented the SegaCD port of Night Trap which was NEVER an actual "made by Sega" game at all, it was made by an American company and the content in their game is what was highlighted in those congressional hearings with video footage and transcript outlining what they were really outraged by and it wasn't Mortal Kombat and it was Night Trap's content AND Sega of America's 90s management actions was what triggered the creation of a ratings system.

As the biggest 3DO fan ever as a teenager collecting absolutely everything, I suddenly flashed back to that feeling of extreme desire for this... Hoping for a professional style pressing and release if perhaps the good license holders will allow it...

This will be an instant buy if the full version port goes physical and will work on a Japanese 3DO since that's what I own atm.

I'm always very conflicted about this. On one hand, it does look very cool and seems to be very well-made, but since these games will never have any value, is there a point? And if I want to play these games (with translations), I can use emulators, or the Saroo cartridge, or even Mister FPGA... Anyway, my point is that if the goal is to play games, I already have plenty of alternatives (some of them free), and if I want value, then it's better to get the real thing. So what is the real point of a repro after all? 🤔 I have one Saturn repro which looks cool, Shining Force trilogy + English translation in one neat DVD case... But well, it's the only repro I ever bought, cos I realized that I felt nothing for it.

The MK2 PlayStation port had something the Sega Saturn version didn't have. Shao Kahn's voice announcing the winner. You had to enable it in the options.

How do you program your Saturn to read blank disc? Aka burned games

I would say this is probably better than Nintendo 64 version

3DO was definitely a premium system back in the day. Due to the high price, it was a mere novelty that most couldn’t afford, and it’s supreme technology couldn’t compete with the SNES SEGA 16 bit wars that were running hot.

Tru fun games is doing a port of mk1 for atari jaguar.
