Glad you’re back
Do you have a pattern or tutorial for the undies? I love these!! ❤
yes! the pattern is the Esme Panties by Evie la Luve
@ oh thank you so much!
Good morning.😊 That was an amazing video. Love watching your videos so much.❤ Your videos are also so helpful. I really like how creative you are and that you always have new ideas.☺️🤗 You motivate me so much.😍🔥 Thank you so much. Hope a lot more is coming. By the way... you are so beautiful!❤ Wish you a wonderful day.🤗✌️
thank you so much! 😊 I'm glad you're still enjoying my videos....and yes, I just need to motivate myself to edit before I can publish more videos hehe
So good
Hey that's my daughter I did call her a name!
Small
loveeee
That bralette looks sooo comfy ❤
I LOVE this
@@tleemf6923 thank you so much!
lily of the valley is also endangered :(
You input the zipper wrong. It’s supposed to be *invisible* and it is not. It can be seen the way you did it. Honestly, this was not helpful for learning how to do a French seam with an invisible zipper.
@@whatisheybailsdoing I sewed the zipper foot correctly. In the video I clearly stated I did not have an invisible zipper foot, so actually I think this information is incredibly helpful for those who don't have an invisible zipper foot, but want to get a similar finished look.
@@RandomBatHome No, you did not. And the presser foot has nothing to do with it. You are supposed to iron the zipper open first so that you can sew directly under the teeth, which will cause it to roll and become invisible. The zipper foot you used is the same one I have and I can still achieve the correct result. I’m speaking directly from knowledge that was learned in fashion design school.
@@whatisheybailsdoing awesome! I see you have your own RUclips channel, maybe you should focus on that instead of leaving negative comments on my channel. I get the occasional critical comment and they usually come from a place of sharing knowledge, but your comments are coming from a place of hate. Even if you sew an invisible zipper better than me, you are being a common internet troll, which is a very unfortunate way to treat people.
You have skills I only dream of. 😂
ahhh thank you so much!
@@RandomBatHome I’m absolutely terrified of my sewing machine. It’s still new in the box. I can barely touch it.
@@maddonut621 I was the same way when I got my first machine! It sat for months because I was too scared to learn to thread it, you got this!
@@RandomBatHome Can you talk me through the shakes? 😂 After seeing my mother sew her fingers together as a child I struggle with just touching it. 😂 It’s been in my closet for 2.5 years at this point. 😂
@@maddonut621 haha well the presser foots now are much larger than the vintage ones, so you would have to try really hard to sew your fingers! Also can make sure to keep both hands next to the presser foot instead of in front, if there's something that needs to be helped under the presser foot, use a pencil instead of your hands! You got this!
If you're trying to make garment or patterns as a business/profession then I think you should give yourself the proper title. Sewist is hobby, seamstress is the profession.
Agreed! Plus there are so few good even remotely affordable undergarment patterns!
That is gorgeous…and the kitty is a cutie! ❤
thank you! she's my assistant, currently getting white cat hair all over black fabric lol

Hey what colors the paint??
the paint colors are in the video description!
Depends on your definition of feminism. I call it equal opportunity and pay for the exact same job. But when it comes to hobbies, I call it doing whatever I want! Men and women ARE different. Sometimes we have different skill sets and interests. It’s about playing to your strengths - man or woman. Why should doing embroidery (or any other interest) not make you a “feminist”? Very silly
“The little hole to snake the dick out” is the most elegant way I’ve heard it called before
comments here did not understand the seriousness of such a plant. some people here act like everybody knows that they’re invasive & to keep secluded from other plants, but the case is not everyone does! & planting them in your backyard, they can & will take over native plants, not to mention are poisonous, stray/loose cats or dogs may ingest. these flowers are beautiful, but are best left to wild environments in their own nature, not planting these dangerous flowers. do not underestimate.
Suggestion if you want it. One thing for the final piece that may speed yiu up even more, dont keep switching colors. Do one color, everywhere it belongs across the whole piece, then the next color, then the next. My friend does this when she has deadlines (she makes gifts) and swears by it for embroidery. I swear by it for artwork and my own crafts. I cant wait to watch the journey of your final piece. ❤
that's a good suggestion! I think once I'm better at visualizing how the petals layer on top of each other I can switch to that method.
Very nicely sewn. May I ask, what type of machine do you use?
thank you! I use a Juki in the DX-5 series and I've been very happy with it
Really nice colours! :)
Best project ever!!!! Thank you. So freaking pretty!!!
This is very pretty and looks well done. This is good work 😊
I didn't even notice them until you mentioned it in this video (I have been working backwards through your bra embroidery videos). I actually prefer plain nails with moisturized skin. Now that i am aware of it, the color distracts me from the embroidery.
Looks great! But remember, embroidery (especially a lot) will make your fabric shrink. Might have to cut the pieces slightly bigger
good point!
So cool. I always wondered if I should embroider first then cut out the pieces or embroider after the garment is constructed
I think it depends on the project! not super helpful lol
I love the embroidering! I adore your dedication! I have sewn a test corset last week and it turned out good, against my expectation. Now I will have two selfmade corsets. And since I made the pattern with Tape on my body, they fit so comfy! Making cloths yourself is just so much fun!
ohh that's awesome! I have yet to attempt a corset
So delicate and beautiful ❤️ very nice job
It's beautiful
so pretty
I appologize if anyone has asked this before. Wouldn't the backside of the embrodery rub against your skin? I have really sensitive skin and it would definitely be a no😅 It's so beautiful and can't wait to see more of it!
It totally would except there's two layers of fabric! So the backside of the embroidery doesn't touch my skin...I would not be able to handle that either haha
@@RandomBatHome That seems a bit obvious in retrospect. Thanks for answering❤
How do you know how much to pull on the elastic?
I prefer just a little bit of tension on the elastic, but it really depends on the person! I pull the elastic so it's barely stretched when sewing.
Pink was a masculine color back in the old days. Besides that: How do you transfer you pattern to jersey?
I usually just keep the pattern on top of the jersey and use a small rotary cutter!
Of cause your first sewing project with silk can be a bra. If that’s what your hart desires you will get the strength.
I love that commitment.
Beautiful work ❤
What do you call the metal parts?
I think you're referring to the underwire? Otherwise I have metal rings and sliders!
Sometimes the best things are the things we do for ourselves, that barely anyone else will ever see or appreciate. It makes us feel special and reminds us we are worth the time and effort it took to make.
This is already gorgeous!
Wow❤
So true. I had started posting my calligraphy online just to force myself to practice more. But my channel kind of exploded one day out of the blue and people started subscribing and making requests, which I really loved doing. But I am not a content creator, so putting in all the work to share my hobby on RUclips quickly overwhelmed me and I decided to pull to plug on it. I think I still have followers somehow but only heaven knows why. I'm almost certain they've forgotten they ever subscribed. 😂 Suffice it to say that it is no small task what you do, and after my little experience with creating content, I have a whole new respect for people who can stick with it. I could not.. And your embroidery work is tiny! Heaven only knows how busy you must be.
thank you for sharing, it's so nice to hear someone else give content creation a go! It can be so frustrating to try and explain what I do to people that have never done it...especially when they say I don't work 🤔
Can you put up a tutorial or even just some close up shots if making the loops on the bottom band that the shoulder straps hook into? I’ve got some favorite bras that I adore, but the strap hook loop is set too wide so they fall off my shoulders. Every way I’ve looked at adding extra loops is either very bulky or leaves seams that will irritate my skin. (It’s very hard for me to find bras due to my disability, so fixing this one issue would mean the world to me.)
I wish I could add a picture in this comment! For this bra in particular, I just sewed the strap end directly onto the back band using a straight stitch. I first sewed it to the bottom of the band and then sewed a second set of straight stitches along the top of the back band. I would recommend overcasting the edge of the bra strap to keep it from unraveling (I've found some do and some don't) before stitching it down. If you want to keep the seam hidden, you can unpick some of the stitches on the bottom elastic and tuck the bra strap into it. Please let me know if this doesn't make sense! Alternately, I have made a loop like you're describing, but that will definitely be bulky like you said, especially as a mended solution.
I’m so excited to see the final product!❤
No popsicle biting on this channel people! 😂😂😊
Could you explain discuss what you mean by "notions" . Apologies for asking silly/stupid questions. But I prefer asking a stupid question, than continue to be ignorant/stupid about the subject, I hope you understand.😊😊✌️
In sewing and other textile crafts, notions are like... the general assorted bits and bobs needed other than the fabric. For example, buttons, threads, pins, thimbles, needles, rotary cutters, etc. They're usually the smaller items, not like the sewing machine itself.
no problem! I'm specifically referring to the underwire casing, the boning channeling, and the clasp here, but as @searece said, it's used to reference all the random stuff you might need.
Aaaaahh🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏oooh gf you REALLY knocked your flowwr time back 30 mins!? WHOAAAA!! THAT IS AMMAAAAAZEBALLS!!😮🤯☺️! It's SO🤩😍🤩 , your stitching/embroidery is SO lovely!😮😍🤩🤩 I noticed that different creators use different backing& I'm fascinated by the use of backing for embroidery/sewing finicky/difficult materials. Your content helps my anxiety SO MUCH. PLUS!! I get to learn some really fascinating schtuff! THANK YOUUUU❤!!
you're welcome, I'm glad you're enjoying it! 😊
Thank you for making the effort to actually entertain & educate those of us who loves textiles, sewing, embroidery, etc., I am SOOOO invested in your beautiful embroidered bra, I cannot wait to see the final product. I must express to you that, I too enjoy not only complicated projects that challenge my abilities but i truly enjoy those tempermental or difficult projects that make me a lil nuts lol. I usually have anywhere from 1 - 10 "projects" happening at the same time(thank you audhd!) so i can honestly say there's times when my hands AREN'T busy that I feel kinda lost or bored, or maybe it's that I feel as tho I should be doing something? lol! Do you experience "project guilt"??😊
haha yes! my hands are usually busy as well...otherwise my million projects will never get done haha
I ❤❤❤ the way you colored the leave. Love the flowers & watching your process of testing& choosing colors. I enjoy your channel a great deal. I would LOOOVE a superduper long video to watch while fallimg asleep. I'm learning ALOT from you as well & I am SO appreciative. Thank you so much for sharing what you do. I understand the "pressure to post" issue. I don't mind watching videos on loop, especially ones I find soothing, calming & educational. You're channel is unique in this way & I LOVE IT! THANK YOUUUUUU❤🙏🫂🫂☺️ edited for typos/space/quotation.
thank you so much! 😊 I try and create videos I want to watch (and I truly do reference my videos when I don't remember how I did something) so I'm happy you are finding them informative AND enjoyable....it's a hard balance!
If you're gonna make these accessible to big titty bitches like me make sure the straps are much wider please, the chest cannonballs need a lot of support as they are very heavy.
emBRAidery!! 😍
😂👍🏼
I really missed an opportunity there 🤣
