Fascinating! Thanks for showing us this video! But yeah... I'm 100% not ready for this level of sewing skills. I can make tablecloths, repair jeans, make my own curtains (at least I could 10 years ago - the curtain I made about 2 years ago has been a nightmare keeping it draped over the [1970's] curtain rod due to two factors: slippery material on both sides of the "new" curtain and CATS. Not a good mix. What a headache! I do NOT want to re-hang my curtain every single day!) I have 2 new projects I'm looking to do in the near future: make a new curtain from old bedsheets that match our current bedspread (like I did the first time about 12 years ago that won't "slip off" the curtain rod (with the help of curious kitty paws, of course [was this really MY fault that my curtain was a failure?? ]) AND learn how to use my "brand new" two spool treadle sewing machine circa. 1913. I think I'll aim to keep it simple for now but I LOVE knowing there are other videos I can reference to improve my skills when I'm ready! Again, I found this video fascinating! I never even considered making my own bra or what all it would require in materials to do so, so thankyou. ((Get a cat, they said. It'll be fun, they said...")) Just kidding (to some degree). I've had a cat or .....6 since I was a child so I'm not really all that shocked at kitty behaviors. I don't know what I was thinking using a repurposed black bath curtain coupled with sheer maroon actual curtains I got on clearance ages ago. I should've known better that would've never worked in my favor, LOL Oh well. Live and Learn, and try again another day. (And pray for better discernment next time so you don't make the same idiotic mistake next time, LOL)
