Another Wednesday night smash up. Matt stepped in for Drew, and went full send from the start at 50kph. Settled down after that!

Onbike footage of 2025 Santis Classic. Legs werent up to it today, but a good ride all the same, once I found a good group.
😮😮 50 km h
What a Beautiful Landscape! Thanks for sharing!
(My guess about the sprinting) `Sprinting into a station that you dont plan to take along stop at is a great way to make some positions from the riders that are slowing.. "This is the only thing Icould come up with"...
Its actually seems like brutal. Wtf
C'est très impressionnant. Surtout de voir que c'est sur route ouverte. Des priorités à droite passées à grande vitesse dans des villages limités a 30km/h. Cela manque cruellement de sécurité aux intersections. Sinon belle perf. Mais suicidaire dans les villages.
Maravilhoso
Hi, wow very inspiring, would you mind sharing your Fat Bikes full specifications also is it a full suspension? I was thinking of getting one myself. Thank you =)
Its a carbon hardtail frame from Ican, 100mm width carbon wheels from China (inc Swissside hubs), Schwalbe Jumbo Jims in 4.8", Lauf Carbonara forks, Carbon seat post and bars, Carbon saddle, X0 AXS drivetrain, Hope X4 and X2 brakes and Powermeter pedals. All up weight - 12.9kg.
@@Over50sroadie Thank you very much, I appreciate that you took the time to reply =)
Your country is so beautiful through your films, I love it ⭐⭐⭐
Hi there, nice video. Didn't think i would find myself coincidentally in this video. By the way i am the red guy ;)
Oh cool!
I always assume nobody would want to watch videos of my rides. Why would they? Yet I watch videos of other people's ride daily. Such a strange mental hurdle I can't move past. Anyway, cool ride made much cooler on a fatty. Nice.
one of the best best videos I ve ever seen; from the landscapes to the variation of the tracks, to the competition with the so called: red guy LOL ! amazing !
Too bad there was not a huge portion of the race on sand or snow
Respect for the great result mate, especially on such a heavy bike! I believe I saw you pass at the first feed zone and then caught back up to you on the last climb going out of Oberried, where you took a break in the shade. My son saw a similar bike on the Ultra distance, but at least on camera it's tires look a bit narrower: ruclips.net/video/PYZS-2PdllI/видео.htmlsi=Z1N7P4geGue68OAD&t=1448
Yeah, I was completely cooked from the heat! Legs were struggling a bit by then too! Had heat exhaustion at a few gravel events recently, so taking care to not get too hot.
@@Over50sroadie Indeed, the Oberried climb was fully exposed to the sun and quite hot. In general temperatures were almost ideal, I even made good use of a neck warmer on the first descent (and then was too knackered and forgot to take it off)... 😅
Beautiful scenery! Where is this? Were you running studded tires for this? #fatbikecurious :)
Not for this one, but I do have them - they only really work on ice.
This is in Kanton Zug, Switzerland.
These oldies should have padded bibs to protect their hips from falls. 😊
Well done ! How was the part between St Gingolf and Thonon ?
Tough! But then again, in the 4hrs 20mins group, it was all tough... 🙂
Well done ! Do you have an average watt for your 4h20 effort ?
@@erwangaillard1637 I averaged 210w, but made a point of sitting on as many wheels as possible. Still had to close a few gaps though, and at 45-50kph, its 450watts!
@@Over50sroadie Extremely good considering the highs and lows wattages you had to face. Higher volatility means harder perceived effort. Well done again. Clean video btw real pleasure to watch
also, that TT bike from giuliano looks sick
the guy that couldnt clip in at the beginning xD
🤩
Brilliant, looks fast and woaa avoiding crashes, however super ride!
Immer die Poschtauto im Wääg. :)
Epic day! Looks like a great time, nice video also!
What a great ride!
Super 👍👍👋👋
Great achievement! 👏
Your fast descending on sometimes difficult road conditions looks so easy and your line choice so fluent ... not bad for a non - climber too 😉.
And Euan attacked so I simply waited til he was blown to counter attack 😂😂…
Sounds like a train coming… Chou Chou 😂😅
Imagine doing this with sunshine ;P
Merci pour ce beau film - Ravi d'avoir été de la partie sur cette via Alpina ! Tout de bon ! Fred (Switzerland) ☺☺☺
