Uncanon it, just do it
But that's the thing Male rappers use male rappers and deliver good songs with variety and different lyrics Female rappers all be writing the same shit😂😂
Let's go more korra disrespect 🎉🎉
Not even 2 minutes in and half of what youve said is just downright incorrect info. Korra didnt master the elements fast than Aang it took her from her 3 or 4 year old start of bending till she was a young adult to master all 4 elements. Even if you dont count air she still only got her 3rd element mastered at around the age of 17 and its debateable that she even mastered the elements at that point as she had trouble wity the spiritual side of bending still. Also one of the other biggest mistakes you made is assuming that every metal bender HAS to learn seismic sense first. Thats just how Toph discovered its possibility. But its NEVER stated as a requirement or else Suyin would have made sure to teach Korra and Bolin that before she started with metal. If youre going to come right out of the gate with so much wrong info and baseless assumptions then its not worth finishing your video.
would make a fun shooter like csgo or rainbow six
Am i the only one who noticed the durarara soundtrack? .w.
After thinking on it I figured I may as wells hare my opinion on the points you mentioned, sorry for the long comment. For starters Aang being a bad dad and Korra mastering the Avatar State are points I'm in full agreement with you on. While I could see Aang not being the best parent by conventional standards, afterall Air Nomads were raised communally so his perception of parentage would be different along with him being busy after the war's end would mean he might not have that much time for his kids or might be a bit hands off, I can't imagine Aang playing favorites or neglecting Kya or Bumi. Especially when his wife is Katara of all people, so hearing Aang played such extreme favortism to the point where the modern Air Nomads had no clue that Aang had other children is dumb. As for the Avatar State there's nothing to be said, Korra mastering it after using the form once is dumb, nothing else needs to be said. For Raava I'm neutral on the topic. I only got into Avatar about 5 years ago so the whole Raava inclusion was already in the fandom, I don't really have an opinion on it but the inclusion of a "dark avatar" was something that made me roll my eyes as that just felt unecessary. For Korra's general quick mastery over the elements I didn't really mind it. We've already seen the journey it took for one Avatar to master the elements so I didn't see too much of a point in retreading familiar ground. Along with that at the time the show runners didn't know how many season they'd get so it makes sense to cut out some portions fans were familiar with. In verse Korra only a master of the 4 elements after a total of sixteen years of training. Being taught from 4 years sold to Seventeen at the start of season 1, she had 3 elements down and only mastered all 4 after an additional 3 years of training (The time skip from season 3 to 4 is 3 years long). Lastly metal bending, while I never personally viewed seismic sense as a prerequisite for metal bending I do kind of agree with your point about Korra learning it a bit too quickly. In universe it's been 70 years in universe since it's creation and due to Metal Bending becoming so mainstream, to the point where they can make entire cities made out of metal it would make sense that they would create more sensitive metals with greater impurities to make it easier to metal bend. That said Korra learning it super quick isn't something I'm the fondest of but it's likely due to the series having an unknown run time and is semi compensated by Korra not using it all that often.
God, I miss World Trigger so much.
Tbh I can see what the writers were going for but they fucked it up so bad and just left it like that 😭 (I also wanna say that korra was around 20-21 by s4 as she was alone for 3 yrs after she was poisoned)
You should Showcase Azuma from World trigger. This Guy liertally choosed to step from Rank A to Rank B just to train new talents. He is also one of the odlest & Experienced agents, and was able to read through osamu just through a small talk (outside of battle).
I haven't watched korra and I don't want to watch it.
I agree with yourpoints, but useing the comics as source is pretty bad idea. The Rot started from the comics, after reading them and seeing Korra it is really clear where this whole nonesnes started. And Republic City was a terrible idea, I hate it.
Another issue I had with metalbending was remote metalbending, ie bending metal without direct contact like it's just regular earth. Honestly it felt off considering Toph never managed to metal bend what she wasn't in direct contact with, even metal that was touching other earth. Kind of pairs with the idea of needing to be able to seismic sense the traces of earth within the metal, but the metal itself works as an inhibitor, atleast that's the way I saw it.
Noone's gonna defend Lilly orchard considering he's a predator and abuser
A couple observations that either help or hurt your argument 1) Aang explicitly did not master earth or fire by the end of the show, as said by his masters in the show. So he mastered 1 element and gained proficiency in 2, he did not master 3 2) hear me out on this one, I don’t think it’s entirely necessary to have seismic sense to metal bend. Firstly, Toph’s first students in metal bending weren’t even taught how to bend earth (comics), and it’d make sense that metal in the metal bending city may have a higher ratio of earth than metal did before Toph because metal bending is kept in mind when making it. I think you ABSOLUTELY don’t discover metabending without seismic sense, because who the hell would think of that, but after someone has the idea it’s a lot easier to replicate than it was to create. Korra is absolutely a Mary Sue at first though, no disagreements there
They have different understanding of the world and act mostly on instinct but they are not evil. Calling them evil would be like saying animals are evil. Jackals kill the whole chicken coop even though they only eat a few of them. Does that mean they are evil for unnecessary killing? Nah, they just act on instinct
tbf sylvanas destroying saurfang makes sense and he knew he would die, everything after the saurfang fight makes no sense and is dumb and i don't wanna talk about shadowlands
Physically sure but mentally her power coming so easily she had no impose control and her power greatly exceeded her wisdom and her making really bad decisions. Also she got beat up a lot and for awhile everyone hated her
7:22 korra is at least 21 by the end of tlok
I dont remember too well but i understand from u said that strengh in this Anime comes from Strategy and skill but wouldnt a secret kind of forbidden power boost for anyone be like getting a black trigger? Or does is still require skill instead of it be like a unique trigger that could possibly put you above others? I only ask since i think the anime said that the black triggers turn into unique triggers based on the sacrificed person or desire. Like how the white hair kids dad turned him self into something to keep his kid alive and now he has a strong body linked black trigger.
3:00 No way someone as incompetent as Korra qualifies for Mary Sue! 🤷♂️ Still liking your video because every bit of Korra hate is priceless! 😈
Asami was hotter anyway
Aang was really busy being the primary protector of the world, being a solo ambassador for peace in a world previously wrecked by war? Being super busy and therefore that had some negative effects on his kids? That’s perfectly reasonable and probably quite realistic. Aang intentionally prioritizing only one of his children? Absolutely not. That makes no sense to the characters of Aang and Katara.
It wasn't only because she was a Mary Sue also because the story was bad in so many ways that ruined the story of The last Airbender and if this was a show by itself and would still be not really that great
Aang actually only mastered air and water in the atlab...kinda earth bending too. He didn't master fire bending on screen
I first watched it when it originally aired and it's been awesome ever since
small note. the metal that they use to train is the same metal from the meteorite in ATLA season 3 ep 4, sokkas master. its what he used to make the space sword that he lost in the finale.
I personally like the story of Raava and Wan, i thought it was pretty cool. Sure it retcons the nature of the avatar state slightly but i think it can be both
Is a giant cockroach evil?
I've watched ATLA and TLOK for the first time few weeks ago, back to back. My first thought in Korra's introduction was, "I know I'm supposed to be laughing, but this is bloody stupid". If learning elements is this easy, then that almost invalidates ATLA, cause Roku should've been able to stop the war from ever even beginning. And the show didn't get any better after that...
You know what doesn't make sense? Is that HOW ARE DARKSKINNED HUMANS LIVING IN COLD CLIMATES. Usually paler people live in the colder parts of the world because of the lack sunlight. It would've made more sense for the fire nation have dark skinned humans
Google the inuit people.
@@crystalmoviesuk2615 they look like the Aztech temple people, that's cool ig
Yeah,i also dont think korra is that great 😂
good vid bro il folow
Legend of korra is jist like boruto. The writers want to push this trash narrative that the "new gen always surpasses the old gen" but instead it makes no sense and it seems like they just do things out of thin air instead of actually training a lot.
I always say like how korra did asami dirty in the first season. I personally would never fall in love or start liking someone like that. Regardless if its opposite or same sex relationships. I would never forget that i surprised they stated friends. Also never addressed her behavior at all in the show.not even a mention. But i get it sweep it under the rug type thing 😂
Aang giving tenzin more attention yeah make sense but he would not do that to his other kids. He would definitely share his culture to all his kids regardless of of his kids not being able to bend
My biggest argument I always had was why katara let him do that. Like if you think aang is bad then katara is too. Which isn't seen in lok katara is written as the best
Aang never as an adult trying to learn metal bending makes no sense. Toph would want to teach him and see if he could that is her first student. But I guess we don't need adult aang to be more op. Aang is very good with earth bending and especially seismic sense
Not entirely? Ok opinion valid have a nice day
She trained under the White Lotus for around 15 years, it'd be silly if she didn't learn to tap in to the avatar state.
THANK YOU I NEVER LIKED HER also the gaang >>>> korra’s team avatar
I like the show.
I didn't even watch the video before agreeing. Any Korra slander is a good day for me. Korra was a garbage avatar. The avatar verse lore was destroyed just so she could 1up Aang. For a supposed master of multiple bending, she always needed the avatar state to fight a serious 1v1. She was a natural waterbender fighting like an earthbender for some reason. In like 50 years, everybody could use dual elements just because. Korra is boruto. A cheap cash grab copy that spits on the original for more hype. Even the villains got the boost. Blood bending turn energy bending water benders, Airbender monks lived and meditated for years with no sudden enlightenment but some random evil Mf lost his cyclops girl and suddenly could fly........Complete BS Also dumb feminists on twitter keep saying "You hate korra cos she's a girl" Even tho the fandom simps for Kyoshi and Yangchen who would absolutely destroy korra in a fight even with all her stupid plot armors.
Facts
I cannot explain how much I detest Robin
Still is. Always was.
the fuck is a mary sue
Character that has most things work out for them with no repercussions
I'm gonna tell my kids korra wasn't canon to avatar last airbender
ok few points I wanna make . 1. your bringing the comics in with aang starting the acolytes so I have to bring up tophs school were we see that you dont need seismic sense to use metal bending as her students are never shown to use it and none of her training involved teaching them that. (and that came out before season 3 before korra learned metal bending so even if you wanna say its a retcon its not a korra one so cant be used to call her a merry sue) 2. Toph was the first and no one else thought to do it before because no one knew it was possible, a similar real world example is the "four-minute mile" once one person figures it out and shows its possible other people start taking it seriously and putting their mind to it. 3. the metal that they use, that easily could have come from better metallurgical understanding that came from the fire and earth nation working together (as seen in the comics) + advancement in scientific knowledge to make better metals and is probably metal with high level of impurities that is made to help metal bender learn. could even be metal that was made from meteoric iron witch we know is a thing in the avatar world since space sword and "space earth"is more easily bended. 4. Korra learning the elements faster is easily explained by the fact that 1, she did not need to travel the world looking for masters to teach her like Aang and previous avatars since the white lotus took her in and brought in multiple masters to train her and she was not limited to learning one at a time from a single master+traveling the world looking for the others. and 2 having her entire life be nothing but training under multiple masters unlike other avatars who had to deal with stuff while learning like aang getting in adventures and fighting a war not leaving him that much time to practice and having to rush it or having duties . the rest of the points are valid tho
What Wonderful subtlety thematic use of the "Fight the Power" song (from Gurren Lagann) while discussing Toph figuring out Metal Bending!
I personally don't see Korra as a sue or partial sue. Instead I see her as a victim of unfortunate circumstance. The first was that Nick was screwing over the show from the start and continued to do so as the seasons went on. The second were the questionable decisions on the part of the writers, namely the first two seasons. Book 1, however, I am much more willing to downplay the negatives of though I still wouldn't call it good. They were only given one season and instead of cutting planned content it became, well, what it is. A jumbled speed run. They could've just cut out the love triange entirely and had more time to properly develop the story, but I digress. Then comes Book 2 and it becomes a matter of trying to find a new plot through chaos, and not the fun type of chaos either. The response to how do we get ourselves out of the corner we wrote ourselves into should not have been to set the established lore on fire. That said Books 3 and 4 were mostly fine despite inconsistencies.
