This is not a house, this is a castle. I noticed the mature tress nicely pruned of dead branches as part of wildfire risk mitigation and creating defensible space, which is critical for such an object. Is that a slate roof?

Beautiful house for what little we saw of it. One of the worst “showings/videos” of a luxury home I’ve ever seen. Very disappointed not to see more.

What astonishes me as a fire fighter of wild fires is why spend millions on looks when you can protect it from a fire....a few changes to the structure and surrounds and this would stand a good chance in a fire....I can see the that pot luck it won't happen to me played its part...sad because its preventable and you still can keep that all important rustic rural look and the majority of the forested area around but a lot of architects only do what absolutely necessary not what is essential
