You pick it… I build it. Just a random guy having fun building cars and trucks from scratch. Won’t you stay and be apart of my builds?
Successful move to Pennsylvania
It’s been a grueling 2 months of packing and planning for the move to Pennsylvania but it’s finally over. We did it!!! A huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. So now it’s time to fix this rental house up and make it like a home.
We have been working tirelessly on unpacking and cleaning up this gem. Hopefully soon I will be back in the garage.
The garage is kinda a challenge in itself because it’s so open. Winter is here and we definitely will be needing heat in order to work comfortably this winter.

I will be putting together a video in the coming weeks of a before and after of the shop. There’s quite a bit of things I need to purchase to get this barn right. Definitely heat for one thing!!! I think this will be a subtle change from t...

Hello everyone, in this video, my son and I get the car ready for its trip to Alabama. once in Alabama our friend, Mr. Joey Millfet is going to do all the bodywork and get it in a sealable primer. That way, the car doesn’t get any more damaged and then the final step will be paint. It’s been a long journey putting this car together unfortunately everything else took priority, but little by litt...

So in this video, we have a floor and firewall fellas. It took quite a bit to get it to this point, but it’s all downhill from here. Now that the biggest piece to the puzzle was completed everything should fall into place. There has been an unexpected job that came up that I had to go and do out of town. So I will currently be living in Houston for roughly 2 months banking money. It was way too...

Well guys it’s time to close up the firewall and floors. In order to get this truck to lay rocker there was a significant amount of floor that needed to get cut out. I wanted to take a break from the chassis. Everything had to be made from scratch. The amount of work required to close it up is insane. So many little intricate details that the eye wouldn’t pick up on. You guys will see it becaus...

Taking a break from messing around with the chassis. It’s been a long journey to get this truck where it is now. So in this episode I’m going to make inner fenders. I ended up getting a storm call to go out and work in Chicago. It was a nice little hit for me. I’m sure you guys all are experiencing this heat. It’s been really taking a toll on me. I’m definitely looking into installing AC in my ...

Hey guys I finally got the front suspension done. It was definitely the hardest part of this build so now everything should start moving smoothly. I’m beyond excited to share this with you guys because how tight the track width is. This truck will be able to turn lock to lock on the ground with 20x9 4.5 offset front wheels. Up next on deck is going to be the inner fenders and firewall. Going to...

Hello and welcome back to the channel. I hope you’re having a fantastic day. Well I finally pulled it off. I found a Mercedes Benz G500 to be a donor for my next build. It’s a clean fantastic running truck. I have been wanting to pick up one of these for years. I like to think of myself as a different person. One who beats to his own drums. Always thinking outside of the box. While everyone is ...

More progress on the build. Little by little the chassis is coming together. In this episode I take my ideas from the board to the chassis. I temporarily make a set of control arms to cycle the suspension and boy oh boy it’s impressive. I ended up with a pretty bitchin design. Little did I know that I was going to end up with the truck layed out and almost full steering lock to lock.

Still waiting on important parts but there’s always stuff to do. Keeping busy isn’t that hard so the grind continues. Slowly making progress but still getting a little bit more done every day. Hopefully this week I will have a set of control arms made. My apologies guys.

New projects and of course Samurai update
Congratulations for clear info. Thanks from Portugal
Glad it helped
Thanks for posting this. I'm a young woman looking to join an apprenticeship out in Oregon. I'm scared though. Do women typically make it in this field? I'm willing to put in the work even if I get my butt handed to me a few times
Absolutely women do this line of work. It’s a tough job but the money is insane. Oregon is a union state and the pay scale there is very high. Don’t let your fear get the best of you. 🫡
Thanks! I needed this! You're a real one! 💪@@magicman_metal_fab
I live in PA and move south because i lived in PA my whole life. I only stay in PA because of my family. My neighbor is from Florida and he is a surgeon so once his residency is up he is going back to Florida
Florida is great for visiting and retirement, not living. The pay scales there are absolutely rubbish. I enjoy the seasons as I’m originally from the northeast. I’m glad to call this my home.
Why did you move to Pennsylvania? I live here, it sucks.
Money!!! Gotta follow the money bud.
Welcome to Pennsylvania
Love it here!!!
Welcome to PA but I know if I lived in FL I sure as shit wouldn't move to PA but welcome 😂 I do know and mow grass for a few folks that have houses in FL and PA. So it's common actually.
Why would you move to Pa I moved out of Pa I was born in Philly Pa it is one of the worst states land of high taxes and bad roads and criminal politicians and a state full of liberals .And I am glade I will never have to go back there
I build power lines. I’m a Union journeyman lineman. The entire northeast is where the money is! Fantastic pay scales, amazing annuity’s. There’s trashy areas everywhere in the United States!!! Florida had some of the worst poverty I had ever seen. I’ve worked all over the United States and I’m proud to call Pa my home now. As far as liberals, that too is everywhere. Out of curiosity, what state did you move to?
@ TN i grew up in Philly and lived in the suburbs and worked in the steel mill and the taxes where killing the people and every time you turned around the politicians would either change the laws or make new ones and the school boards could care less what the people said which that part is all over .And every time you turned around the people had to pay another tax and our property and school taxes would go up at least 10% a year and it was not like we got anything for it
@ sounds like everywhere my friend. When we moved to Florida, our property taxes were $4500. Our house was 2800 ft.² and we had one acre. After a couple of years, our taxes managed to hit almost $8000 a year.
@ I had a little over 1/2 acre and was paying almost $7,000 now in Tn I have 7 acres and a double wide house with a metal 30x30 barn an other buildings and yes our property tax has gone up over the years and it’s up to $ 880 a year now that being said we don’t have trash pickup and we just take it to a convenient station but we have a lot more freedom then the people who live in the cities or the towns
Philadelphia is much different than the rest of the state....all the things you say are bad about Philly are not necessarily true in the other part of the state.
Where are you located in pa
Mechanicsburg
@magicman_metal_fab thats only two hours from me im in Huntingdon
@ niceeeee.
What part of pa are you located
My wife and I moved to lake mary Florida in 2006 transfer with the company I worked for in Virginia. March of 2019 took retirement package at age 60 and moved back to Western Pennsylvania. The last 5 yrs people are leaving Florida cause of high insurance on home & car. So happy to be home,GO STILLERZS.
Welcome back from Eastern Ohio close to beaver County pa
I should have made Pennsylvania home years ago but everything in life happens for a reason. ❤️
That's a summer kitchen.
Love it
@@magicman_metal_fab what part of pa did you come to? Western pa here. Armstrong county
why would you ever want to move to Pa
Gotta follow the money bud. I build power lines for a living. I’m a union journeyman lineman. There is barely any union work in the south. Those are poorer states. The pay scale in the northeast is way better along with better benefits.
In PA we call that "guest house" a summer kitchen that's where they would cook to keep the heat out of the main house
Yes. I was also told that by my landlord. He referred to it as a summer kitchen. I really love this house. I hope to purchase it and restore it back to its original glory.
I think you might be doing it backwards, people are desperate to escape PA to move to Florida. Snow and cold await you.
lol you are correct, but in real life you have to go where the money flow is. I couldn’t make a living in Florida so I had to go where the money is. This money I will make up north will allow me a second home so on my vacation I can live where it’s warm as a “tourist “ 🫶🏻🫡
So glad to see you smiling, brother! I'm glad you all made it safe and sound. CHEERS to a new exciting chapter in life. ❤🤙
Thank you brother. We are so happy here. Definitely looking forward to many more years to come. 🫶🏻🫡
I'm so happy for you guys, bitter sweet for me man I'm glad I was able to meet you in person you are one heck of a human being man Maybe one we will hang out in Pennsylvania bro. Enjoy the beautiful place you have may God continue to bless you and your family greatly brother I'll keep you updated on my samurai build and my 79 Monte Carlo that's getting a lowrider paint job soon in April much love brother 🙏❤
Please stay in touch bud. Looking forward to seeing your progress. We definitely have to catch up bud. Yes it was cut short unfortunately but we had no choice but to move. God has blessed us tremendously and we are beyond grateful brother. ❤️❤️🫶🏻🫡
No one wants to listen or watch you slapping you dsl's maybe I figger it out u will get subs.. views..
Congratulations on the new house. Brother it's all about the peace. Took me along time to realize that. I finished the move to WV with my family and best decision I made for me and my family.
It’s crazy how when we get old our minds are on a one track. Now that we are wiser that’s all we want is peace and quiet along with a slice of happiness. Wish I had done this sooner but at least we are here now brother. ❤️🫶🏻🫡
That place is awesome! Magicman got his own commune! 😂Congrats on the move
Yes sir. I’m so excited hopefully this week I’m going to start the shop.
So happy for you, brother! Can't help but feel at peace looking out at that land. Glad the move went smooth. Look forward to seeing more updates 💪🫶🫡🤙
Thanks brother. I appreciate it. Hopefully this weekend I can get started on the garage. I’m so excited to be here. Miss ya bud.
Glad the move was good can't wait for the next video keep it up
Thanks bud. Me too. Hopefully this weekend I start working on the garage. 🫡
Very cool. Welcome to Pa! What city? Love your work
Mechanicsburg. Thanks bud. I’m excited to be here.
@@magicman_metal_fab dude, I had to ask myself PA on IN because I live a few minutes from a Mechanicsburg that could have a house like yours, with a view just like the one you have.
@ Indiana is beautiful also. Spent some time up there building power lines. I still can’t believe I live here.
Welcome back up North Jay. It’s awesome to hear the whole family is happy with this move. Look forward to the up coming videos
Thanks bud. I’m so glad we were able to pull it off. I truly feel at peace here. Looking forward to a fresh start at life.
Epic move mate, so happy for you. Beautiful place and I can’t wait to see what the future brings. I don’t know if they have Wawa in Pennsylvania but I’m sure you could use a coffee! Thanks for all the motivation 🙌
Thank you my friend. They actually do. It’s about 25 minutes from my house. I truly appreciate you. I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to be here. I’m glad I light a fire under your butt. I want to see your build. Email me a video I can use for my next video. Thanks for everything brother. 🫶🏻🫡❤️
@ 🙌 as you should be. Looks very chill with all that space around you. Stunning views. You should have an email with build pics already… Sent a little while back.
Welcome to PA buddy. That property looks so quiet. Enjoy that serenity
We will. Looking forward to the summers here. I absolutely love it here. It’s so quiet but yet everything is around us. It’s mind blowing. Hope to see you soon. 🫡
Looking good!!!! See ya next time!
Sir yes sir. Thanks for being here my friend. 🫶🏻🫡
Welcome to the, being in a house that is older than everyone you have ever known. Moving "back home" was the best thing I've ever done, a farm town of 800ish people and a house built in the early 1900s everything about it all, the peace that came from it is immense.
I can truly relate brother. Every day I wake up I thank god for bringing us here. I actually think about what they use to do in the winters here and how life was. It’s really crazy to think about those things. 🫶🏻🫡
@@magicman_metal_fab Oh man, you went there. My last boss and I grew up in the same small town, and we started talking about people, places and things we use to do as kids. Sometimes in details that others gave the look of, you're full of shit. Only to realize we were talking about the same stuff, with correspond stories and sometimes adding details to the other side and went back to being quiet. But that can easily go into things, length wise are not friendly for here. I hope you can find those people to tell those stories and possibly, relive them.
Glad you made it up there safe my friend. Big changes!
Yes sir. Follow your heart my brother. You can’t go wrong. Wish I had done it sooner but every thing happens for a reason. 🫶🏻🫡
Hell of a view out there. Glad you made the move safely!
Thanks brother. Can’t wait to work together. 🫶🏻🫡
WISHING YOU ALL THE BEST!!!
Thank you bud. I appreciate it. Hopefully all is well. 🫶🏻🫡
is this a better alternative than installing the skin from atop?
Possibly but this is the only way I know. It came out great 🤷♂️
@magicman_metal_fab it looks great! I would think that the weight of the glass assembly will cause the center to buckle.
Use the juice from the turkey and mix it in your mashed potatoes instead of water and butter. THE MOST AMAZING MASH POTATES
That sounds awesome!!!! Definitely going to try it.
HEY THERE SIR, CONGRATS MY FRIEND. Is there a chance (if you are able to finagle purchasing the property of course) but is there chance of being able to cut a hole in the upstairs floor framing it out to be able to stick the lift right up through that sucker. Be kind unique walking around the second floor and bam a truck starts coming up through the floor. 😂
lol. I’m sure it’s possible but I left my lift in Florida with the new home owner. I ran out of time and room in my trailer. I will definitely figure something out sooner than later because removing a body off the chassis without it gets old quick. 😂🤣😂
There you are eating/SMACKING behind the camera again……..I have warmed you about this before SIR!?!? 🤬 I am so excited for you and what the future holds for the progress of your “side hustle” and the heights you will be being blessed with accomplishing and we get the privilege of being able to be right along with ya for the ride my friend. There is nothing more to say than - YES SIR!!!
Time to build a roll pan or custom bumper that tucks up and in better maybe flush it up or something?!?!
I like that idea. Definitely going to look into that bud. 🫶🏻🫡
@ 22:50 ahhhh nah you don’t need to replace “the bumper” per say…….I mean that a perfect opportunity for us fabricators to make either your own customized “bumper” tucked up and in tight or to build a roll pan?!?! 🤔 Just sayin’……..
I understand bud. I agree. Just need to find some time to get started on it.
@ for sure my guy I most definitely understand how sometimes the thing that can be the biggest hold up can be time itself.
Great job at explaining things in a way that even a simple feller from the holler can understand. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again your subscriber count and views are criminally low. But I have no doubt at some point things will eventually work out for you as far as that goes. Your content, personality, and your authenticity shine so there is no way it won’t as long as you stay consistently posting on a regular basis. Same bat time same bat channel SIR!
Geat video, I just applied today to NEAT apprenticeship . They only take 30 applicants a month from what I surmise as long as you apply and meet the minimum requirements like having class A CDL They will contact you to schedule your aptitude test. The attitude test I'm a little afraid of considering I've been out of high school since 2005 lol . I've been working around Lineman for about 10 years staking poles with them and sometimes setting poles during storm work etc . I really wish I would have tried sooner but my employer yanked me around for years saying they would send me to training.
I wish you the best my brother. It’s definitely worth the time and effort for what ever it takes to get into the apprenticeship. Don’t ever give up!
Been making his way of cooking Turkey since I was in Culinary School 2014 & I keep telling people it’s the absolute BEST!
I love it!!! That’s awesome 👏🏻
He has a leaky bung hole and I need teepee for my bung hole-E-o
😂🤣😂
Nice bud
Thanks brother.
SIR I say be yourself. Continue to speak and say things just as you would throughout the day if there was no camera filming. Be just as you are stay authentic. Those that are successful and stay relevant on RUclips are the ones that are consistently uploading videos. (Staying with it consistently on a regular basis almost like a TV show with a regular schedule) so that AND BEING YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF are keys to success as I have noticed with the regular content creators I have watched for years on here. CJ on 32’s has slowly and consistently grinded it out on here just like that and is such a positive hard working gentleman that truly appreciates his audience and lets us know on the regular but he finally just recently got to a million subscribers and makes a very nice and comfortable living for himself. He is a very good role model to model one’s self after at least when it comes to this ol RUclips thing!?!? 😉🤘🏻 TLDR - So yeah I say stay with the “SIR” it’s you and who you are and viewers genuinely stay with those that are positive, stay consistent and are authentically themselves so you have a very good head start on exactly that my friend. And you have a fun and informative channel that is criminally underrated, under appreciated, and should have MANY MANY more subscribers, views and viewers but keep it coming up n a regular (schedule) basis and it will come. I have no doubt about it!!!
@ 8:02 😳🫣 I absolutely hate (and the word hate to me is such a strong word that I raised my daughters to not use the word) but I digress I ha…..DO NOT like to see what I’m seeing at the time marked with n this post. I understand trying to save time and knock something out with the quickness but I been building minitrucks, lowriders, euros, hot rods, wheelers/off-road monsters, choppers/bobbers you name it since the late 1990’s. I understand the “let’s just get it done real quick” mentality. The nothing is gonna happen I’ll be careful thinking that kinda goes along with the I’m invincible way of thinking but all it takes is a few burn marks, indention/divots/holes from the slag and sparks and such from welding and now because you “just wanted to get it done right quick” you took 2 steps backwards and “ruined” a billet wheel so to speak or cost a bunch of time getting the wheel fixed/refinished when if you had just taken a little extra time to be proactive by taking some preventative measures to be safe or sorry by just taking them off, putting stocks or junkers on or taped up and covered the billets you could have saved yourself headaches at the very least. Ok so maybe nothing happened and it all came out OK…..THIS TIME but I been doing this a long time and this is not a good thing to get used to doing or making a habit cause it only takes one time to completely ruin your day…..shoot to ruin your whole memory of a build that otherwise maybe went amazing. But I tell ya what that one time something does happen I PROMISE it will be all your remember or at least the first thing that comes to mind when you think back to that build……… Hey I’m “just saying” as the kids say these days I’m nobody you don’t have to listen to me. Just trying to help as I said it only takes that one time…….. Otherwise brotha LOVE THE CHANNEL AND ALL THE BUILDS. I just been re-watching some vids and builds kinda bingeing if ya will and felt as though the should say something…..
He says to rest uncovered, basting ever 30 min.
Yep my go to.. that is what it sould look like.. great job. HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING. ❤
I made this a couple years ago, it was so delicious! The gravy was a huge hit too! A lot of work but totally worth it😊
It’s my absolute favorite!!!!
Followed this recipe. My bacon always comes out very crispy- almost burnt. So this time I bought thick cut bacon. I also have double the size that Gordon cooked so I may had to adjust the time of when to put the bacon. Either way, my family loved it. They liked the lemon taste and how juicy it was. But definitely baste every 30-45 mins and use the meat thermometer.
I love it!! Sad I couldn’t make it this year because we literally just moved. Definitely going to make it for Christmas!!!
You put the bacon on to earlyyyyy
You gotta follow the exact recipe 😩 mine came out exactly like his
Oh no! Mine was perfect. Nothing was burnt. Bacon is used for flavor and gravy.
Congratulations on the new home ! What part of pa did you move to?
Thanks brother. We moved to Mechanicsburg.
