Amanda started sharing her comeback journey through 2 different cancer diagnoses during 2020 shutdowns, after being told she’d “never run or hike again”.
After fighting through advanced stage cancer, and overcoming debilitating surgeries + 16 months of chemo - Amanda climbed 30+ technical mountains, won trail races and OCRs, and then went on to qualify and compete in Ironman races leading to Ironman World Championships in Kona.
Amanda is on a mission to show others how UNBREAKABLE we all are.

As a woman runner I feel Like our cycle impacts our performance quality in sooo many areas! I for sure am not like my husband every week in feeling great! 😅
You are an inspiration! I’m a very new runner and you help motivate me to get out and do it despite the cold!
I am training for a 21 Km in May 2025. I am nervous about getting shin splitz and ITB. I am incorporating stability, mobility and strength training in my programme.
Military vet myself (salute to you Amanda and thank you for your service). I'm debating of going for another 70.3 Ironman, my 1st marathon or possibly Oregon Cascade 50 miler. Would love to get some coaching from you if there are openings.
First race is 30k next week! Big goal of doing my first 100miler in June! Nerves is a understatement but these videos are a great motivation for discipline❤
I’ve got a 50k trail race this Saturday in Arkansas. Also training for a 100 miler that’s April 5th here in St. Louis.
This got me through my last bit of treadmill work so thank you 🥰 working on speed this year!! Doing a bunch of smaller races around to prep for hopefully a PR at the Chicago marathon in Oct!!!

Doing a half marathon around May 24th. Initially my goals was to do 1 hr 30 min time but I will adjust as necessary to match my current pace and fitness. Scared of losing my period through over training and under fueling.

I am gearing up for my first marathon in 10+ years this November. I am getting back into running after a decade of mostly strength training. Ramping up to the marathon by doing a bunch of 10ks and a trail half marathon in the first half. Biggest fear with this current training block is that my lack of access to trails (I'll only be able to get 1 long trail run in every couple of weeks) will hamper my half marathon performance. Another fear is that my body won't be able to handle the mileage, but I am counteracting that with the slow ramp up throughout the year.
@@coleenbachi8746 your body is already SO much stronger than many others with your strength training background. Way to not let fear stop you from crushing your goals!!
I love cashew things as a substitute. I make my own cashew butter weekly, it's super easy! My biggest goal this new year is to publish my birth stories book, and to complete a big equipment upgrade purchase for me and my husbands tree service company. I sometimes feel scared of putting my stories out there, but I know they will help others. I sometimes feel nervous putting everything we have into our company, but I know we are an unbreakable team and we will succeed. My fitness goals don't scare me, they are my meditation and keep me able to live this active life physically and mentally

Just signed up for Zion 30k!!! Nervous but excited to put in the work the next couple of months! This will be the longest race I’ve done since 2019 abc very different from the Spartan races I typically do.

These videos are always such a treat for workout motivation and meal inspiration, especially with this one coming out at the start of a new week! 😊🔥 My goal for 2025 is to get back to running, building a strong base and to run a sub 2 hour half marathon, after being injured for most of 2024, main goal is to to stay healthy. Also stopped tracking calories, to focus on fuelling for performance in the new year, and I want to include more fats in my diet + eat more evenly spread throughout the day, as opposed to eating too much for dinner 😁🔥

I’m hoping to loose about 50 lbs! I’m down 10 lbs so far and in a week I’m going to bring back in clean food. I’m doing a smoothie cleanse right now :) I’m also working out and would love to get back into jogging once I get some weight off first! We would love to get pregnant but even if we don’t I still need to get pregnant I have two kids to get health for!

I'm training for a half marathon on 01 March! What scares me about it? It's my 1st half in SIX years!! I have an A, B, and C goal for it. My A goal is to finish happy and uninjured, my B goal is a time goal, and my C goal is just to finish. I know some would say the time goal should be my A goal, but that would put too much pressure on it and I'd feel like I had to prove something and I learned a long time ago that I do not enjoy running when it's to prove something!

Working with a nutritionist to get my cycle back so we can start trying for a family :) I ran my first 50 last August, but throughout have struggled to fuel properly. Ideally would love to still incorporate fun mountain adventures and maybe a 30k during pregnancy, but we will have to see how my body feels and ensure I'm fueling properly

You have an amazing and powerful story. I'm twice your age and have been plant based since you were 10. Back then, there wasn't as much awareness about the lifestyle and the health benefits, and there were few studies that provided data on the mysterious and complicated world of nutrition. A lot has changed in the last two decades. That said, there is still so much more that we don't know than that we do know. As an older, plant based athlete, I've gone through so many problems and solutions most of which I've had to solve by trial and error. But I've remained on the plant based path because for me the data is pretty overwhelming in terms of the correlation (correlation not causation) between heart disease, cancer, metabolic syndrome and nutrition. I'm not at all determined for others to be plant based. Only if they are unaware of the benefits and ask. If they have informed themselves and made a decision based on their analysis and individual circumstances, I believe that choice should be respected by others. The problem today is that so many people are unaware of the connection between what they put in their mouths and how it influences their health. You clearly have given it a lot of thought and research and come to conclusions about what works for you. And what works today, may not work tomorrow so there is always the possibility for change and growth. I love the videos and I have so much respect and admiration for the incredible resilience, faith, determination and gratitude that it took for you to get to where you are today.

I feel like my treadmill speed is a minute or even two minutes per mile faster than my street pace. I’m a lot more out of breath on the treadmill.
