Please, from where comes the personal Body? What happen if the body doesn't match exactly with the metahuman head? And can i use my personal metahuman head? (created with the Mesh to metahuman plugin)(?)
You can not use mesh to metahuman head, and no need to. Default metahumans are only for the base. You can still use your mesh to metahuman mesh inside metapipe as a static mesh but not metahuman. Please check related playlists in our chanel. Everything is in order. You will find every single question answered there

Does it mean: 1/ i export my (mesh to metahuman) from metahuman to maya via bridge 2) i transform the head mesh of this metahuman to .obj (static mesh) 3) i use the obj head as static mesh combine with my personal body (from daz studio for example) 4/ i use metapipe in order to obtain my personal metahuman that can use lately inside unreal with contollers and metahuman material?

thanks for this! it was cool to see how quick the actual metapipe process is when using the metahuman mesh. Could you make a similar video that walks through the whole process for a Full-body custom topo character please? no need to sculpt/wrap like in this video. even just a 5 minute video going through the whole process would be amazing. Q: Also, from the video, at 4:07:00 it sounds like you're saying we need to do 2x Zwrap for custom topo. First, wrap our custom sculpt with the metahuman default mesh, then bind to DNA and open it's mouth and adjust eyelids for better wrapping/skinning, and then export that and wrap it with our custom topo. Is that correct?
I will do more videos and cover all features and possibilities of metapipe soon in this channel. :)) Yes for custom topology you need to have a matched topology with metahuman topology. All correct

the new blendshapes double are insane ! we can modify combines blendshapes in one sculpt modification now if i understand good ?
It is correct. And in addition to that you will be able to edit shapes like funnel, towards etc at once. They dont have combined shape and normally you need to split them to 4, which was a hard and time consuming process before :))

It is custom sculpt wrapped to a MH topology.

My biggest struggle is not having A to Z tutorials for beginners. The mix of videos from the playlists are difficult to follow for noobies.
At first it was hard for me too, but the discord community helped me out many times. I think it’s still difficult to create a single playlist where everything would be shown in detail, because... the product is developing and fixes and new features are always being introduced, and this is very good, my advice to you is just try again and again and ask everything that is not clear to you ))

Does metapipe support metahuman groom? All your tutorials have avoided this topic
We dont support grooming, but our users can transfer them succesfully. Also xgen can be used in the process.
I would be willing to buy your metapipe V2 but it lacks a tutorial, please make an example with a Daz genesis 8 to metahuman step by step from scratch to understand your workflow. Also make a detailed documentation like MetaReforge does. Remember many things are clear to you as you are the designer but not necessary clear for the newbie

This looks great. This setup, is it specifically for Scanstore assets? I.E, is it based on the topology of the scanstore basemesh or could you in fact use any custom model as long as you pose it similar to the MetaHuman?. Also, does scale matter. Do the Scanstore have to be the same height as the MetaHuman? And in the end, it is the Scanstore toplogy that is bound to the MetaHuman joints, correct?
This process is designed directly for Scanstore HD head and body topologies. Scale doesnt matter most of the case. Only limitation maybe doin character head smaller than teeth and eye size of oriinal MH. For example very small character like 5 cm is not recommended. At the end it has Metahuman Skeleton withj facial animation ready setup

Wether I sculpt a character of my own I need to either transfer(wrap) the MetaHuman model to my sculpt or the ScanStore model to it, right? I mean which is totally fine, but it would be cool to have characters that have different features, like tails, 4 arms etc. Thank you

There are default subtitles for easy viewing. I can also understand your intentions when using the translator. It would be great to see other videos with default subtitles (English). Then it would be great to convert them to other languages!!!

It's a great technique, but I gotta be honest, those teeth on that particular character are creepy AF. Eyes are kinda freaky in that context too. The lip-sync and phonemes on the mouth work surprisingly well though. Very interested to see the next iteration.
Yeah I understand, character may look creepy to you, the process of our creation mostly like "Let's do a character shape that can't be transfered to a Metahuman" :)) We don't think of the design that much for those works. Much likely to analize, RND stuff... Technical exploring...

This is looking great! But im having a custom character with an asymetric face.. would the join matching work? how can you do it for really custom /non symetric faces, all the great examples of custom meshes I saw were really similar on both sides so I was wondering what happens with a character that got eyes at different levels or a really specific mouth deformation (like a zombie, with a broken jaw)
Asymmetric faces not a problem, Joint matching works for any mesh that has same topology with Metahumans. Good idea to showcase those kind of shapes :)) Will do that!

@@artsnspells Thank you, have you looked up Dembones skin decomp at all? Its how I've been handling metahumans at my work at Archetype and would help appeal to those in the game industry. converting the blendshapes back into joint skinning. Admittedly, I take it a bit further with replacing the skeleton and re-creating the rig logic node in a control rig setup.

Awesome! I'd love to know if you have any tips for the eyes. I've been struggling to get a clean transfer in the eye area on cartoony characters with all the dense geometry there.
I only correct the eyelid and dont use other geos in this example
This is amazingly good! As a motion designer, I love designing crazy characters like this. I would really like to buy Metapipe, but I'm not sure if I can manage all the steps. The company I work for uses ZBrush and Maya. I personally tend to work with Cinema 4D rather than Maya. I recently bought the Custom MetaHuman Tutorial by JonCG. It all looks quite complicated. Especially the wrap process. I would like to use Metapipe to turn a small monkey - I already have the model - into a metahuman. Can someone tell me briefly whether the process is difficult or manageable?
We have a Discord Support, and I reply every single message with a detailed explanation or I recommend videos to watch. Also I help users to create their first character by guiding them whenever they need, if the videos not helpful. If you are not a very beginner in maya and zbrush, it is not that hard.

I can do that, but to be honest it is not easy tho and for users, it requires extra exprience.

This animation created with Iphone 14 Pro Max in Metahuman Animator, everything can be done if you can do it to the Normal Metahumans.
