We don't have a sink in the basement, but I agree. We do a bunch of things around here I hate doing, but we got what we got and have to figure things out. I always scrub the hell out of and sanitize with bleach everything after we do nasty jobs.

I will say that my first REAL night out in it was on a hike 8 miles into the boonies - and I got caught by a surprise thunderstorm/torrential downpour. I got the tent unpacked, up, and inside it with my 60+ lbs ruck in minutes just before the real rain hit. Kept me dry except for the sweat I was already soaked in!

Understandable😆! As short as I can explain it - "Eric from Kansas" was about our homesteading efforts. It got to be too much trying to RUclips all those projects AND be an editor because I did all of it by myself. Well, I started to dislike both things so I separated them. Still do the homesteading stuff, but I'm not making videos about any of it. Still wanted to do YT, so tried to pivot the channel to my motorcycle hobby. But then realized I was confusing the ol' YT 'algorithm'. Hence the DvoidRebel moto-stuff channel being a completely separate thing now. I WILL still be around, but located mainly on my moto-stuff channel.

It DOES look that way, but it's just because I was using the rear-facing camera on my phone and then I mirrored it in editing.... for some reason I can't remember. But, naw - I wasn't trying to drill a hole running the drill in reverse. I can be an idiot, but I'm not a jackass😆

these new can are made to keep women safe, but women can't use these cans at all, cuz you need X3 three hands to operate them, how idiotic is that ?? 😅Yes, yes😅 I generally try to "rotate out" my fuel stores at least every 8 to 9 months or so.... So I use up my canned gas well before it 'goes bad' and replace it. Just keeping it rotated out and 'fresh' is all.

Yeah this one worked great for several years for us. However, after awhile even replacing the filters didn't seem to work. I think Dyson designs planned failure into their products. I even replaced the battery with an aftermarket AND THEN again with an OEM Dyson battery... and it still kept failing. I finally just gave up on Dyson and bought a corded Bissell for a fraction of the cost. The inconvenience of a cord is much less than the frustration of shortening battery life and constant filter and clogging issues. I remember when Dyson announced they'd no longer be making corded vacuums; I knew that was the beginning of the end for them with me.

I feel like they did the ol' bait and switch. I had a corded one when they first came on scene and it lasted forever. Ex got it in the divorce. Dyson stopped making corded and went to this battery-only bullshit, riding on the good rep they had. I bought into it and it's trash. Even awhile after the new filters it started acting up again. Tried a new battery. Worked for a bit, then back to shit. Got a new actual Dyson OEM battery and the same thing happened. They're like cars and lightbulbs now, with their engineered failure to make you buy another; "It's not a flaw, it's a feature." I agree - never again.

EXACTLY. EVERYTHING about the design of the new cans & spouts is extremely terrible engineering. they never even tested or thought through what in the world they are doing. the filters is just a mess & disaster waiting to happen & guarantee to clog and create messes, spills, frustration etc. iow it is pretty much engineered by a leftist or bureaucrat aka epa.

Thank you, Sheryl. It was hard. We cried of course and I'm not ashamed to admit it. One of her sisters passed away on the 23rd of last month... No signs ahead of time at all... They're both out by the pond side by side now... next to a little bluejay.... The bluejay had landed in our yard under a shade structure where our rooster, Spot, was hanging out. Spot just nudged him and then stood over top of him, standing guard, like he knew something was wrong. The bluejay died later with Spot still standing guard. Well we buried the guy by the pond and since then... the other girl and then Carrot Cake. Yeah I hate when people are like 'They're "just" chickens.' Or "just" whatever kind of animals. I like animals more than people (if I'm being honest) and so that sentiment that animal lives aren't real lives just really irks the sh*t out of me. Thanks again, Sheryl - and for all your suggestions from earlier too (I DID get them btw).

Agreed. My wife said the same so she's been giving her things with more water content. We've had water available for her and she's taken a sip here and there but not much.

How do you like them? I soaked mine in a scotch guard type stuff and ended up using it in a thunderstorm for 8hrs. It kept me dry from the rain, but because I'd soaked it so heavily, I basically turned it into a sauna and got soaked in sweat😅 Great little tent though!

Same here. Three filters, one always clean and dry. Now at this point, it won't stop pulsing anyway. All is clean, even the body. So frustrating.

Could be you need a new battery

Just arrived to this discussion , have the spare filters , clean it all regularly. But still pulsing , took it into our garage asked my husband to use his airline to blast it all with air I thought it was as clean as it could be , you would not believe the dust that came out now it works as well as it did brand new.
