    CO2 is GOOD for the environment. Talk to any farmer about this. The actual level of CO2 is the LOWEST in the last 500 millions years. You don't have to be an expert to know how the Earth looked in the Jurassic Era. The CO2 level was 6 TIMES MORE in the Jurassic Era when flora, fauna, insects, fishes were GIGANTICS. I don't know why all the governments tells people that CO2 is bad. Pollution is. CO2 is not. CO2 is what plants eat to grow.

      I did put it on the first half but ran out for the second half... I couldn't wait to order more and had to finish the project... therefore only the half where the sink is has it. But you're right, all of it would have benefited. But I did lay down plastic on the ground under the house which will keep moisture away.

      It's much more affordable that the U.S. Most cost with having the baby (I.E. hospital visits, birth and after visits) are practically free. We also get a ¥20,000 child credit every month. The real problem is time... no one has time for babies and no one wants babies.... selfish generations.

      The hallway project cost about ¥20,000 to refinished all the walls. I used a product that wasn't cheap... you could do it for much less if you mix the Shikkui yourself and buy it in powder bags. I just didn't want to bother with mixing and measuring. But now my costs are higher too and I will do it that way next time.

    Hallo, farmer from Italy writing. The cost of eating out here, in yen ( 1 yen=0,0062Euro) is around 3.064 Yen for an economic lunch ( per person and no wine) up to 8064 Yen for a complete course in a mid class restaurant. All cosidered it seems to me Japan is more convenient, especially for monthly food cost. Many greetings of luck and happiness from Italy, Merry Xmas

    In general are women in rural japan traditional or westernized like the city girls?

    • @DIYJapan
      @DIYJapan 6 дней назад

      No women are westernized in Japan. Even if they are ''westernized'' from living abroad... the moment the step foot in Japan, they are expected to conform and default back to Japanese culture. They might act and think a bit differently but rural or otherwise... expect them to be very similar to people who have never left Japan. Only difference would be rural women tend to be less vain and generally chill.

    Excellent video. That is something I have been looking for since I want to move from city side to the countryside of Japan. I always loved it there because you can make everything yourself. Thanks for the tips about saving. Indeed, Japan is an expensive place to live, but of course, there are a lot of things to consider to reduce the cost especially if you live in the countryside. And here what I believe might be useful: 1- Having own farm; plant some important veges and fruits (healthy and super organic if you plant it yourself). 2- Having some chickens / cows/ other animals to reduce cost of expenditures. 3- Having simple power plant to produce electricity if you live near by the river or a stream; check it on RUclips. 4- Super DIY (producing your own propane gas through a simple fermentation process); check it on RUclips. I was just wondering why your phone and Wifi bill is very expensive!! The phone bill is as cheap as it goes about ¥2,000 and Wifi is about ¥4,500 or ¥5,500 at max!! so if each of you has a phone, that will be ¥4,000 + ¥5,000 compared to ¥14,000. I'm sure if you dig a little more, you will be able to find cheaper phone plans. Please share more vids about countryside!! Thanks,
