Lookin forward to these...getting 'em on tomorrow. Rolling on a '15 Xterra Pro4x. Was sooo close to getting Falken Wildpeaks but remembered how great my Coopers were on my mustang. Nice Sequoia, we're still rocking our 2005. Good Turkday to ya's!
Thanks for watching and let me know what you think of the tires. I’ve also got a Frontier Pro4X…love all Nissan Pro4x’s as well!
@ definitely. I had a 4th gen 4Runner for 188k mi and brake booster went out while I was on mountain road. Talk about puckering. I would look for another Toyo BUT when I contacted Toyo they said they were aware of that problem with 4th gen’s but not enough reports were in to issue a recall so I was like Xterra it is! Will be driving heavy on these tires tomorrow looking forward to it.
I have a 23 pro4x in brown paid like 36k w 7k miles on it...was basically flawless...ive seen more blemishes on one w the wrappers still on it...mine is like the most mid kind of upper trim...cloth w heated seats and steering wheel and literally everything else except the sun roof...and i dont have auto stop...thats really what sold me on it...i despise auto stop
The primary distributor of this cover put out an installation video two years ago: ruclips.net/video/_sZWYvaj_7Q/видео.html
CVT's suck and no leather but cheezy pleather. No thanx.
You stood right in front of the Outback grille the entire video. Not a great choice.
Gotta ask cause it always bothers me... What's the use of a push bar if the lights or any attachments are protruding past it? Dare I ask if there is enough space or a slightly different location to add a light or light bar that sits behind the bar?
310hp. 281 torq
Do you get any wind whistle from the rack while on the highway ?
I like the color of your truck
Thanks Wayne! We have been really happy with it.
👍👍 Real buttons! Simplicity 👍👍
I have it but doesn’t seem to power any try but on any tips? I keep hearing the breaker on the generator but can’t seem to locate it
Did this OBW not come with the roof racks that pop out from the roof rails? Odd.
It does not. I didn’t even know that was a thing until I had owned mine for a few months. Agree a little odd.
@@glamplanding So weird! Seems like the demo buying this trim would use it the most lol. I even have it on my '17 2.5i Base.
Maybe a stupid question but does it mess with the front camera or collision sensors?
Not a dumb question and something lots of folks asked about. It does not interfere with the camera and luckily I have no experiences to tell you about the crash sensors. Thanks for watching!
@ so long as it isn’t tripping them constantly like a bike rack on the rear does, or confuse the following distance for the CC
thx for the video, looking at the very same tonneau. Any fitment issues with the TUWA bed rack? Very good price points for such a rack.
It’s been perfect! I need to adjust it a bit but that was due to installing by myself and it got dark before I was finished. I’m not sure if I will install the drains hoses. I got it installed right before the hurricane hit and it had very little water in the bed which is fine for my needs. I highly recommend it.
Honestly save yourself the money. Get the crew cab 4x4 SV. There really isn't enough to justify the extra cost of a pro 4x imo.
Thanks for watching. I got a great deal and at times have needed things like a locker due to where I live. I’m not saying it’s even once a year but when you need it you need it so that is why it was my choice. They are all great trucks!
Yea no...dont do that...the only trim to buy is the pro4x...regular 4x4 is almost a joke without a locker...stock pro4x will walk all over a sv even if it has a lift and big tires
My “10 tacoma was wore out working on our land. Motor and trans were good but frame was rotting out. When I saw what they did with the 4th gen and the pricing I went to the nissan dealer and got a frontier, exact same color boulder gray pearl. Have you decided on a lift yet? All dogs off road has the rckilla kit for near 500 and it rides well. Bought that the uca’s as well. Great setup for close to 1k. Loving the frontier.
Just finished installing my overland rack and the rckilla kit will be next. Probably looking at a January install on that one for my ride. Glad you are enjoying yours! Thanks for watching!
Great video- I’ve got a ‘24 OBW too. I had the OEM trailer hitch put on, bought some Thule crossbars, etc. Can you recommend a bike rack for hitch and one bike? Driving long distances so need something secure
Thanks for watching! I have my bike rack several years and think I got it from etrailer. I will see if I can get the model for you.
Looks great, looking forward to the video of the bed rail/rack install...My tonneau cover has the channels also and I am looking for options.
Thanks for watching! Hoping to get that bed rack installed this weekend!
lol 😂 you don’t use tools very often
Doing the best I can🤷. Thanks for watching!
Absolutely love mine! Just over 30,000 - only thing is that there's a dumb moonroof rattle/squeak (?) the dealership can't replicate aka won't fix
I just picked one up myself, looking forward to hitting the trails. I'm curious what set you have going on for storage on the right fender, care to share the product?
Thanks for watching. I did a video on it. KEMIMOTO ATV Fender Bag Install & Review ruclips.net/video/8RaEDtQyu5Q/видео.html
If, the biggest small word in the English language
We used a soft folding cover when we had our F-250. We really like it. It was VERY easy to get on and off. He who reads the instructions is He that is a wise man.
Yes end was wishy washy
I traded my ‘18 F150 about a month or so ago for a ‘24 Ascent Onyx Edition for my wife. After we got moved into our new home a year ago we found that we just didn’t need a pickup anymore. I am currently driving her ‘20 Kia Sorento SX but am looking to trade it in about a year or so for a ‘25 OBW. That is the best car for my lifestyle and liking that I have seen and found.
I’ve been struggling with myself…former Xterra owner…last vehicle Ram 1500 hemi 4x4 v8..purchased new 2023 Subaru Forester Limited last year..everything about it is great especially mpg but can’t stop thinking about the new Frontier 😂
How was the ram?
@@FrameRotram was great..never a problem but got too tough for my wife to get in so we had to go to easier entry size.
You and me both brother. I bought my 2022 pro-4x in april and it was also a lease return with about 16k mi. Haven't looked back since.
Gladiator has a 3.6L old school great motor. That and this only 2
now…if you could only get a manual transmission 😢
Those are super rare now. I could be wrong but for 2025 I believe the only 5 speed left is a jeep and it’s the only way you can get the penstar 6. All autos have the turbo or Hemi.
But can you lift it and load it by yourself, that was the problem I had
Hey thanks for watching! While it is pretty heavy at least at this point in my life I can lift in and out of my truck😎 I could see that being an issue for some folks though.
Is it a 2023 or 2024?
It’s a 2023…thanks for watching!
I have a 2015 Subaru legacy. I have put 152,000 miles on the car and no real issues that were Subaru's fault. I'm not crazy about the CVT either. I would buy another if I needed another car. Gets 30mpg and drive mostly around town doing daily errands.
Even RAM has gone away from the HEMI V-8
I had a Grand Cherokee for a bit that had a Hemi…love the sound it made.
Came across this last weekend while riding on the New River Trail. Glad Pulaski has this and hope the mntn bike trails are great too. The town seems to be in need of it.
First thanks for watching! Yes the town needs it. If you are back in the area they also have trails on Drapers Mtn. Trying to find the time to go get a video done. I’ve heard it’s great but not much out there about it. Safe riding!
Im not a 4x4 guy, but i did trade my 2019 SR5 Tacoma for the 2024 Pro X i also added leveling kit looks great.😊
Nice! Cant wait to get my lift on! Thanks for watching!
What mileage did you get on your Houston trip?
The wife drove to Houston…I’m seeing 22 combined driving and getting 26 to 28 on highway driving depending on speed limits. I’ve been very happy overall!
@@glamplanding That's pretty damn good. My 23 Nissan Titan Pro-4x was getting 23 mpg on the hwy. After a few mods I'm getting 28-30 mpg now on the hwy!!
@@stevenpeterson7234 what mods do that
@@stevenpeterson7234 what mod did you put on it if you dont mind me asking
@@khoipham8889 I've done, intake, throttle body, headers with header cooling wrap, bigger exhaust cam gear, exhaust, diablo sports tune, 92 octane tune, 4:11 gears as well.
I would expect these and Honda Ridgeline sales to go up in the foreseeable future in the mid size truck section. At some point they will probably have to move away from the normally aspirated V6 to a turbo 4, but until that happens there will always be a demand for these engines. KISS principle
Agree! I think the 22-24 Frontiers are going to sell very well over the next few years as they will be the value. The 25 is priced higher and everything else has turbos which a lot of folks don’t want just yet.
Thanks for the video. Recently picked up a 17. I was bummed when I learned about this stove's existence. Thought I bought the wrong stove until you talked about the new one having the non stick griddle. Definitely not interested in having the non stick surface.
Totally get it about the surface. I found that I kept having to resurface the cast iron due to not using it enough so the nonstick was perfect for me. Thanks for watching!
Cant find the grease liners. Do you have a link to purchase or the SKU number please
I believe these may only be available at Walmart. You can try the link below. This is not an affiliate link just what I was able to find on their site. Hope it helps. www.walmart.com/ip/5038159510
Very nice
did that to my sequoia as well! i want to do the rest of the chrome but Casper (my sequoia) has been sitting cause of a head gasket problem. I just know for a fact it’s accident related but a third party say it’s wear and tear. which i REFUSE to believe
I have a Coleman grill with a regular grill which gives the food a smoke flavor. I have seen these grills but don't thing I like it.
If Stacy is like Sue, if she is hungry and there isn't a store close you better stop and build one.
Not a horrible cook only humble
CVTs are inferior to geared transmissions for off roading. There is no doubt about that. If you want maximum capability in a Subaru then get a Wilderness and go one size up on the tires. Anything more is a waste of money. These have soda can skid plated riveted to plastic. They work well in deep snow, mud, and clearing obstacles on mostly even trails. This is an expensive hobby and if you are going to push the Subaru to the limits be ready for additional repairs/maintenance.
Two of my complaints - The space for the spare is *just* too small for a proper spare wheel. Simply stupid on a car that claims to be an "adventure" vehicle. And second - a proper battery life indicator. My wife's XV one day just didn't start without any warning. It's 1 chip, worth $0.2, come on Subaru!
Yo I'm John's kid
I have a 2021 F150 and wireless CarPlay does not work in it either. I think it’s touch and go. I just rented a 2024 F150 while on a trip and wireless CarPlay worked great. Kind of irritating though.
What roof rails are those and please share the ebay link
I really enjoy the 2024 Outback Wilderness!. I can only judge it by my previous 73 Bronco which was scary as hell with a 4 inch lift on 35s. I’m not disappointed with the driving but the tech I could do without. Highway driving is sweet but around town (DMV) traffic causes me to spin the turbo way more than I’d like . She’s heavy but overall feels really solid and the Harmon Kardon sounds really nice in Traffic. I’d like to keep it long term.
