How to Connect Aluminium Profiles only using Standard Parts

The "Simple Screw Connection" gives users the opportunity to create profile constructions exclusively from standard parts. The connection requires an M8 thread (extra-light profile) or an M8 thread inserted in the centre bore of the first profile. A ø 10 mm hole is required in the 2nd profile at the connection position in order to tighten the screw using an Allen key. If the end cap is to be fitted flush with the profile, the hole must be drilled 15 mm from the end of the profile, 20mm if the cap is fitted proud.
