Why are mk Belt Conveyors made out of aluminium profile?
✔️ Like all conveyor systems at mk, the belt conveyors are also designed on the basis of mk's own profile system. So made of aluminum profiles and stability-oriented connection technology with detachable screw connections (standard screws). No welding, cut-off grinding or painting is necessary. This flexibility allows easy conversions and the reusability of the components and thus a maximum service life of the system.
✔️ Another advantage of the profile design is that all mk plants and systems are compatible with each other and can therefore be optimally and easily integrated into existing and complex plants. Thanks to the mk standard system groove with a groove width of 10 mm, integration into aluminium profile constructions from other manufacturers is also possible.
✔️ The aluminium profile construction also ensures a torsion-resistant construction of the belt body with very good load-bearing properties. In contrast to welded steel connections, the precision extruded profiles also offer a very high level of accuracy for connection to other structural components, even without mechanical processing.
✔️ In addition, the system groove on the two long sides of the belt body offers connection options for attachments such as stands, side guides, initiators, light barriers, stoppers and other accessories.
