Blender: Selecting and filling in multiple open faces.
Просмотров 4,6 тыс.2 года назад
In this tutorial I demonstrate how you can select multiple open faces at once and fill them in. We'll then fix any problems with bad topology flow caused by filling in curved areas.
Grease Pencil: Creating Photosop-style radial perspective grids for concepting.
Просмотров 9552 года назад
Ever wanted to make radial concept grids like the ones you can create in Photoshop? In this tutorial I'll show you how you can create radial perspective grids much like the ones you can create in Photoshop. I find this very beneficial as you can just save the scene out and then re-use them, move them around, etc. For me this is far more accurate than hand drawing the perspective lines out and t...

Blender: (Lightsaber emitter.) How to rotate vertices along an edge constraint.
Просмотров 8 тыс.3 года назад
In this brief tutorial I'll demonstrate how to make the angled emitter of a lightsaber hilt. We won't need to use Boolean or the knife tool in order to do this. We'll also add a nice inset to give it a little more detail!
Blender: Deleting Unwanted Images in 'Material Properties.'
Просмотров 6 тыс.3 года назад
In this brief tutorial I'll demonstrate how you can delete unwanted images in the 'Material Properties' tab. You may want to do this if you save and work with multiple files. It can be easy to lose track of of the number of image files that you're using. It's also beneficial as it keeps your scenes clean and organized.
Blender Tutorial: Using TexTools on 'arched'/circular shapes for use with PBR trim-sheets.

In this brief tutorial I'll demonstrate the best way to use TexTools to work with trim-sheets for use with tileable PBR textures. Get TextTools here!: github.com/SavMartin/TexTools-Blender/releases
Blender Tutorial: High poly isn't always the way to go.
Просмотров 2983 года назад
In this video I demonstrate how creating a high-poly version of your model isn't always the best way to go - depending on what it is that you're making. Sometimes the object you're creating, for a games engine, really doesn't need to be high polygon and can achieve the same effect as if it were made using a low poly modelling workflow.

In this brief tutorial I'll show you how you can apply a checker pattern and then scale the checker pattern to be larger or smaller. I struggled a lot with this as the method of doing it is different in 3DS Max.

In this part of the tutorial we finish up our firepit. Inspired by: Elder Scrolls Skyrim. This fire-pit is often seen in various places around Skyrim. Primarily in dungeons, caves and other dark places where the undead reside. We'll be making a somewhat high poly model of it using reference images from the game. 🔥[Blender Tutorial]: The Firepit: Part 1 - Sizing It Up.🔥

Just started lerning blender and oml YOU ARE A LIFESAVER THANK YOUUU 😭
Guys, just select the area you wanna extend, go to options above the y,z&x axis and hit "correct face attributes". Now you can pull, and the uv mapping will continue automatically.
thanks man, you just saved me multiple hours of fails in PS
How much time do you want me to waste before I get to reviewing the product? ALL OF IT: said no one EVER.
How do I export this if I want to use it in my OpenGL project? Changing the texture this way doesnt seem to do anything when exporting it as an .obj file, instead it ends up horribly stretched
how to bake them because when i bake the image is dosent baked scaled one
Are you actually UV-unwrapping it?
@@DarkAutumn3D its baked now
Good demo. I am buying it today. Like the twin arm support and generous base. Just saw a rotatable version of this on Amazon and a bit more dosh. Cheers.
It's a great tablet stand and I still use it every day 😊😊
great video
Thanks for the tutorial, but given how essential uv scaling is, can it be that this is the only way to do that? it´s a hell of a lot of work for each single part... so frustrating
Hey and thanks for the comment. There has since been a free addon released that makes this much much easier and it literally takes less than 2 seconds to implement it. amanbairwal.gumroad.com/l/QUVCheckers He provides a brief tutorial on how to use it, towards the bottom of the page.
It just says "cannot make segment". How the fuck do I avoid this?
Are you trying to connect edges or vertices?
hi everytime i make a region on opensom osgrid i cannot tp there says hoste error
This is an older tutorial and I too can no longer access it. I shall see if I can make an up to date one. However there are multiple factors that can contribute to this problem.
Hi really helpful but somehow when I export my project as FBX file the size of the texture remains the same as before?
Could you elaborate so I can help you more? Have you UVW unwrapped it and looked at the UV in the UV editor?
What's the size of the wacom one? Does it feel comfortable when drawing? I'm thinking of buying one for my Kamvas 13 and possibly a S8 ultra.
So sorry for the late reply. The one I have is pretty comfortable to draw on but I occasionally mirror it to another monitor when using programs such as ZBrush because the ZBrush interface is kinda big and things such as sculpting need more screen real estate in my opinion.
thanks
and what hapens if the 32bit is not there in the list
This tutorial is pretty old and it doesn't even work for me anymore. I intend to make a more up to date one that is a little more stable.
hi, could you give us the dimensions of the support plate in cms please?
Sorry for the late reply. Yes the base of the stand is 14cm by 14cm... The height of the vented plate is 10.6cm and the width of it is 14cm. The base is square but the vented plate itself is slightly more rectangular.
Thank you so much for this!
and the mesh looks like sh*t.
It's not meant to look like a masterpiece.. It's just a simple UV sphere lol.
thanks
Do you think It can support a MacBook Pro 13 inch?
To be completely honest? Probably not but I think they do a larger sized stand.
perfect
Promo sm 💃
What do you mean? I am not promoting it, I am not affiliated with this company. I'm simply giving my honest opinion of the product 😆
It is useless, because it resizes only the texture object, not the UV texture.
This is meant only as a guide to ensure that certain texture parts are the same pixel density/size.
I don't know vertex can be rotated like this before, thanks!
thanks just what i needed. watching a tut and the guy just started mapping without any note as to where he got this material
спасибо)))
Mesh > Transform > Shear. But machin3Tools does that better as it takes transform pivot point into account. Shear just does something similart but with pivot always auto-set to bouding box center. Which sucks big time. So sadly, an add-on for that remains necessary.
This would be much much easier with the loop tools "curve" Just select the unwanted geometry, press "control +i" to invert the selection and press right click>loop tools>curve. Done. loop tool is awesome
@@jangounchained2942 Nice, i'm glad that i could help! :)

Thanks!
oh wow, thank you! this actually helped me
My pleasure!
No way thank you man
Awesome! Thanks a ton!
THANK YOU!
thank you <3
No problem at all.
Well done! Thank you!
YOU SAVED MY LIFE ! :')
thank you master
holy shit thank you lol :)
so if you’re so much better than everyone else why do you not even have 1k subscribers? what a fucking incel loser
hmmm i set the ports open , still i cant connect from osgrid to my own server what am i doing wrong?
Are you saying "go into diversity mode"? Please try to enunciate.
I mean I talk too fast some times but thank you for pointing it out. I'll be sure to slow down the next time. It's people such as yourself that help me to improve 😊
STRAIGHT to the point. THANK YOU!
just on point. thank you! ~
Easy way I found was to select the objects you want, then copy them even lights. open another Blender version and paste them into that. Close the original blender file and save the new files over the old one. Now the older file name is saved with the new file and only the mesh/ with Materials and images you copied.
"Ctrl Shift Alt s, x" damn, i had to replay that 5 times lol, after doing that, you can try converting it into a mesh to bring back the vertices. You don't need to add any modifiers or solidify it.
thank you
Please, how did you zoom in the shader editor column 1:32 - 1:35?
Just scroll on your middle mouse wheel like you would in the 3D window.
Thanks so much!
