Basic Procedural Texturing in Blender 2.83|Timelapse
Bro, this is extremely helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your workflow!
You're welcome! Glad it helped!
Yo awesome keep it up 👍
hi dear can I share your video on my Instagram account? I add you channel link
I love how otherworldly it looks/feels... really high quality stuff!
barrely can hear you talk and your bad english doesn't make that better at all
burn pc
bit unconventional approach, would suggest looking for pivot painter approach instead of rigging, as it might look cool on one plant, but once you got a field of them rip PC
Blud there is a thing called Optimization, You put bone inside every single plant with jiggle physics, i don't know what u think of yourself, But you are an A$$ and most of your viewers are gonna blow up their PC
How did your foliage move and interact? I followed the tutorial completely. So when I walk on the plant, nothing happens. But I noticed that when I assign a collision in a static mesh. The blueprint cycle starts working. Everything randomly disappears and appears. And immediately the error "is not valid pending kill or garbage" pops up. Okay, I changed "Destroy actor" to "is valid" The error disappeared. But the randomness still remains, the foliage does not react and the load on the computer begins
Did you rig your foliage first before doing the rest of the tutorial?
@@ButtercupVisuals yes, i checked the rig and everything is ok
And did you set the collision response to overlap and not block
@@ButtercupVisuals yes, i do
@@AlehAoliege oh man. I think you can check the script once again. I have provided a link in the description as well if you want to cross check. It should work.
这是我看见最好的植物视频 感谢让我学到了技术 不知道可以发一下 ue的 蓝图入门教程吗
Broo... what is this shaking?
Oh that's something I added in post. Kind of a retro effect I'd say.
@@ButtercupVisuals Don't you find this shake too much? You can also add variability with low twitches and reduce the intensity, it will be much more realistic. With SUCH an effect, everything only gets worse, to be honest. No man shakes a camera like that, even if he tries.
this is too heavy
Indeed it is. Perhaps we'll be developing a better solution in the future but I felt it is a good starting point to get into the entire foliage interaction system. But personally I still pivot painter toolsets for most of the foliage heavy lifting.
Love your vid i was wondering i did every same step on everything but still my static mesh doesnt have the physics and just stay still do u have an idea what it might be
@@Doomfields Hey, you have to import the mesh as a skeletal one and not as static mesh. Static meshes won't work with physics and all that fancy stuff.
Really great stuff man
😮👌🏻
I saw this in our Facebook group. Excited to learn this technique. Thanks for sharing. Just subscribed
Thank you so much!
I remember being very impressed by this a couple of months back ! Thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you so much!
Isn't a skeletal mesh more expensive than other methods, like weight painting?
Yes it is. It is more expensive than doing it through a shader or any similar method. But you get that sweet physics effect when you interact with it which is not that feasible through shaders.
Yea this tuto is just bad
Great video. Check the sound quality of your voice, it's low. Please make more content.
Thank you. I will keep in mind about improving the audio quality from now on. :)
Hello, I'm new in ZBrush. first, thanks a lot for this tutorial :) I have a question, so I'm asking.. After sculpting in ZBrush, the mesh will increase too much. and I'm worried that when I hand it over to Unreal Engine as it is, there will be lags due to the mesh or low-spec players won't be able to play the game. Is there no problem if I activate only Nanite from Unreal? or sould I Re-Topology that Model?
Generally if you decimate the mesh by 50-70% it still holds up. So one way is to decimate the mesh like this and then UV the triangulated mesh and bake the high poly on it. Another way is again decimate the mesh but by 30-40% and UV that mesh without baking it and use it as nanite inside the engine. Also in case of very dense mesh used as nanite, you can use world aligned textures that don't need UVs to work.
What is your workflow? Do you already know how everything is gonna be beforehand or do you improvise while doing it?
Get rid of the background noise because it is very loud & annoying.
proportions tho
Bro I have same specs but even simple environment crashes. Pls help. Maybe something must be wrong with my computer settings/UE settings
I advise you to set the engine scalability to 'High' while working in the editor. It will automatically switch to cinematic when you render the final scene. Plus try not to use a lot of Nanite stuff, especially foliage, etc. Virtual shadows can eat your GPU in minutes if you do that. Also, try sticking with 2K resolution textures as much as possible.
Grass looks awesome
Wow looks so damn real

hey! where did you get the leaves textures seen on 1:12? could you share with us where did you get them?
Those are from megascans actually. You can search 'Fern Atlas' to find them there.
Hey pls reply me. Can i run unreal 5 GAME ENGINE in this specs👇 8 gb ddr4 Ryzen 5 3600 Nvidia GeForce gt 1030 4 gb ddr4 I only need unreal 5 for environmental design only So how much fps did i gain
Hi. Yes you can run ue 5 but it might lag. So I advise you that set the engine scalability settings to medium or high. This way you'll get a lot of performance.
Is this on GrabCad?
Oh no no. I haven't uploaded it to GrabCad.
"In a low end pc" the pc : gtx 1650 me with my gt 630 be like "Weakling"
Lol. I mean in the today's standards of rtx cards, we all fall in the same line of weaklings.
So You Use blender to Create Assets, then You sell the Blender Asset into Unreal Engine 5 marketplace?
I use blender to create assets but I haven't sold anything in ue 5 marketplace though, I have my own gumroad page where I sell all of these.
we need second part , amazing work
Thank you so much! Glad you like it.
Keep it up man. Learning a lot!!
Glad to hear it!
How much time does it take to render an animation of an environment like this?
Per frame it took around 25-45 seconds. Overall the entire render took around 10-15 minutes.
♥️
I wouldn't consider a GTX 1650 low end considering a lot of us don't even have a GPU, limiting factor for your case might be the CPU
yeah most likely, the cpu or the ram could be the reason
GPU: GTX 1650 OC 4 GB GDDR5 RAM: 8 GB DDR4 PROCESSOR: AMD RYZEN 3550H @ 3.7 GHz call that low end
Bro ur pc is better than mine and you call it low end pc?
It is nanite enabled?
I haven't enabled nanite in this environment
This is next level stuff bro !
amazing work
About the sequencer, you could avoid the camera flickering, and what i mean by that is , instead of having multiple stops for the camera you could have one and extend the time of existance. Amazing work!
Thanks man. Really appreciate your feedback.
That oil paint filter is inside UE5? or photoshoped. Nice work.
Not it's done with photoshop
Materials looks flat , looking forward to your future updates
thanks for your feedback!
Hi,,, friend can unreal engine run in 4gb ram, intel i3 3rd generation processor?
it could run on these specs but you might face a lot of lagging issues while running the engine.
😍🦋
How did you made the terrain?
Hand sculpting
