How I designed my first obstacle avoiding robot using Solidworks

  • Hello everyone, I made this obstacle avoiding robot a while back using Arduino Uno and L293D motor driver module. First I designed each component in Solidworks and then I assembled each of them to make the robot. The chassis of the robot is made of acrylic sheets that help increase the versatility but at the same time reducing the weight.
    I have used an ultrasonic sensor coupled with an SG90 Micro Servo motor and four geared DC motors rated at 150 rpm.
