Yes it's true that the BMW M330i is faster with 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds unlike the TLX which does it in 5 seconds but the TLX remains a non-negligible choice especially since the M340i is $10,000 more expensive than the TLX.

Why don't you like it? However, it is a vehicle that is very appreciated by its driver and is for many specialists one of the best SUVs in its category.

@@CarsAreTheSubject The tech is great and responsive. The engine and transmission feels like an outdated car. Very slow to respond and not very comfortable for a daily driver. It gives me zero confidence in the drive train. Even letting off the throttle it isn’t quick to stop increasing rpm’s. It almost floats for a few seconds before decelerating. I would just say the driving experience isn’t predictable, but definitely uncomfortable. The auto cruise control is a nightmare, I haven’t tried to see if I could turn it off. When I walk up to the car sometimes, it will lock instead of unlock due to the “touch to lock” location. For how small and light it is, it feels a little like driving a boat on straightaways, but light in corners? Very strange. The interior is nice and comfortable. It’s just the driving experience, for me at least, is very poor. I’m not expecting a sports car by any means. But I would almost pick any other suv excluding the fwd equinox. I love the look and was genuinely surprised that I don’t like it as much as I do.

Your opinion is very constructive even if I am a bit surprised. Have you ever tried another vehicle from Hyundai? Perhaps what you are looking for is an Elantra N, a slightly sportier, lower car with comfort and a dynamic engine. I think it would be the best for you if you want to stay in the Hyundai range. But if you want to change brands I would recommend the Honda CRV or the VW Tiguan I think these would be SUVs that would suit you the most.

For the price it costs I think we expect the best but it doesn't matter since you rented it you could change when your contract is over.
