Seeing Les and Ian smiling and having fun onstage made my heart smile.
I think "Let's Pretend" from this version is better than the studio version (or the official release xD)

South Africa's Queen . Extremely talented and had the potential of the lifespan of Queen.
It seems that the drummer of this band is Pat Logan.
Duncan was with Bay City Rollers when he recorded this at RPM studios in Johannesburg. I was in the studio with him and it brings back fond memories. Duncan played all instruments too including the tubular bells at the beginning. We went well into the night with this one.

Had tickets to see Les in March 2020 but it got cancelled because of covid. Then we all know what happened :(
He still has his voice in 92. I would have paid to hear Money Honey,and Rock and Roll love Letter,That’s about it.

Saw this group at the 7 Arts in Salisbury Rhodesia in (was it) '76. One of the few truly professional groups that toured our neck of the woods back then.

I saw them at the Durban City Hall live. What a concert! Thousands of thousands girls screaming and fainting. Chasing their car. Every kind of fanatical hysteria you see with the beatles and others. What a completely unique phenomenon in South Africa. Never happened again. They were brilliant though and most all went on to mega fame and stardom in other massive bands overseas.

Saw Kasim at the Roxy on Sunset when he toured to promote this album. I met him backstage at the sound check. Diggin'the Good Music here in Northern Alberta Canada 🇨🇦

@@GilbertNeal Gilbert, I am sorry that I did not remember but more than that there were no recognizable faces in the band apart from Kasim that I remember.
Seen this band back in the 70s several times across Scotland. Travelled to see them.

@@kennyphoenix2989 I loved the way Damian danced around..He was just so amazing on stage. I loved the entire band..Their songs were really great. The crowd loved them. We gave them a great reception. There was hysteria for the teeny bands of the time. There were quite a few young teen idol bands and singers gigging around in Britain back in the early, middle and latter 70s days.
Rosetta got the screamers and the chasers. Like running after the cars when they left gigs. Fans followed the car back to where they were staying..They got mobbed..Surrounded by fans.
Sounds fun and chaotic all at once. I wish I could have seen them too but I'm a younger fan haha

rollers were a great band, very underrated, they were a proper rock n roll band as well, played instruments and did proper gigs, nothing at all in common really with latter stuff like take that etc (apart from the obvious teen girl following) my first ever album was their 1975 once upon a star, i later got into punk and all sorts of rock like hendrix, doors etc but i always loved the rollers, great show this, thanks
