I think many underestimate the stock Bitwig devices. They are not designed to be a solution to specific problem, such as mastering, but rather pieces of a puzzle to help you achieve a desired goal. For instance, the Multiband FX3 container allows you to build a multiband compressor, where you can assign and map modulators to the parameters of the devices inside the container to cater to a specific result. You can, for instance, assign a button to "mono" the low-end to avoid bass issues and/or increase stereo on mids/highs. I have steadily replaced many of my VST plugins with presets using ONLY Bitwig devices, with even more control to add features that I thought was missing. You can even enhance the capabilities of certain VST plugins by means of modulating the VST parameters, or combining it with Bitwig devices. Once you understand this, a whole world of possibilities opens up for you.

Do you know if the rytm is able to trigger mpc from the rytm sequencer? Would be cool to use the rytm sequencer with mpc mutegroups. Asking bc i have mpc one, and been really interested in getting the rytm for all sorts of purposes and the analog drum synths in it, but it’s an investment. The sequencer seems cool as fuck! In 1997, I played a JP-8000 in a music store and I thought it was so cool, but I was a broke kid with no money. In 2012, I finally bought one off eBay, but when it arrived, I realized it had a bunch of smoke damage, so... I bought a second one off eBay! I had them for a few years, but eventually had to sell them due to life stuff. It felt good to have those few years where I could take myself back to being a kid in a music store every time I played it.

Das Video erinnert mich sehr an meinen Switch. Jede DAW hat ihre eigenen Stärken und auch Schwächen. Grundsätzlich finde ich die Vergleichssachen Nonsens. Bitwig hat ganz klar die Nase vorn was Sound Design und natürlich Modulation betrifft. Und bei echt vielen Sachen kommt man erst nach einiger Zeit der Nutzung hinter die Genialität die Bitwig da tatsächlich bietet. Die Mixer view in Bitwig finde ich super. Wohingegen mich das bis System bei Logic in den Wahnsinn treibt… jedes Knöpfchen für die sends heißt einfach Bus #. Ich nutze aus persönlichen challenge gründen ausschließlich Stock Plugins in Bitwig. Und nur das lässt mich besser und besser werden. Aber ich mache auch erst seit 3 Jahren Musik und fühle mich in Bitwig pudelwohl… ✌🏼

Hey trere! Definitely fan of this approach of using old gold ears machines to make revive some kind of nostalgia vibes. And after all all stuff repeats again and we love that authentic and imperfect sound :)

4:16 you need to crop a bar, warp it by dragging the end point and then extend. This way it should extrapolate. 19:30 you can go to shortcuts and add the same behavior for 0. I did that. It’s a “deactivate” something, not toggle. But it works like a toggle.
