Mine didn't work. I set the date and time (with pkhex) and it doesn't work. Could someone help me out? So i edited the rct with the program which didn't help and then even enabled the flag "allow change gametime" and it still didn't work :(

Well seeing as I’ll be replacing the battery on carts that are new to me I can just replace the battery and start over!

OF COURSE I DID THE BATTERY BACKWARDS. Lol, turns out the teplacement battery prongs do not match perfectly with the original batteries... Bummer. But i got it fixed and tweaked the clock with the home brew program. :) Thank you for this tutorial!!!

Mario Party 7 has the best boards, but average to above average minigames Mario Party 4 has the worst boards and the best minigames Mario Party 6 has good board concepts, but underwhelming pathing, solid minigames though Mario Party 5 I never played lol

For the cloning glitch in the Battle Tower, you can clone items without having to clone the Pokémon so you don’t have to constantly delete them. Just like with cloning Pokémon, all you have to do is give Pokémon in the PC the items you want to clone, exit and save the game, then go back in to withdraw the items, then talk to the lady like normal.

Hey, thanks for the great video!! Did I understand it correct that if I do want to restart my save file anyway, I do not have to worry about the time reset? Because then I would not need to buy the R4 and make the extra effort and I want to restart anyway :)

Mario party 1 had bad boards and minigames, Mario Party 2 was the REAL start to Mario Party in my opinion, Mario Party 3 is my favorite game ever, it’s boards are masterpieces, it’s strategy is top notch, it has THE best story mode of all time, and it’s minigames are bangers Mario Party 4s boards are dogshit, except for Shy Guys Jungle Jam, which I love dearly, It’s minigames are decent enough though, Mario Party 5 got carried by side modes, Mario Party 6 and 7 are masterpieces, Mario Party 8 is kind of my second favorite mario party ever, Mario Party DS is so unrecognized and it hurts me Mario Party 9 and 10 s u c k, The 3DS Games got only minigames correct, Super Mario Party is Mid, Mario Party Superstars is the REAL return, and Jamboree is very pleasant surprise.

I dont have an R4 but i do have a gameboy operator and im wondering if such a fix is possible this way? I was able to upload my save and have the real time clock work again on the emulator, so i assumed it was fine, but it isnt working now. Im gonna try this PKHex method ive heard of and will report back (if i forget and ur interested, reply to this comment and remind me)

It's funny, they removed the "gotta catch 'em all" slogan starting with Gen 3 from box art and didn't use it in print for many years and technically still don't to this day, although they have made references and nods to the slogan verbally and in promotional material in 2013, and in 2023, according to bulbapedia. It was apparently dropped because you couldn't trade with Gen 1/2, so it was not a feasible goal to promote anymore at the time? I've also heard it was dropped in part due to parent's outrage at the Pokémon card game's popularity, who made claims that "gotta catch 'em all", in conjunction with the random and low odds (and high costs) of attempting to obtain every card in a set through buying packs, was promoting gambling. They apparently dropped the slogan to avoid farther criticism, criticism which also eventually led to the Game Corner's slots and gambling minigames being removed/replaced. I have no sources to cite, but I also haven't bothered to look for any!

Thanks to English being highly butcherable while still being valid, "real clock time" as a phrase or abbreviation communicates the same information "real time clock" does, so I'd be willing to scratch that one as an error XD

I wish they had a story like emissary. The appeal was thinking and wondering how these characters would interact with each other. Imagine if in avengers they just fight and don’t build a relationship with each other. That’s why the newer games lack that spark

Always a bit of a bummer that my friends only ever want to play on omega stages with hazards off and items off. That’s almost half the fun for me.

While I think a lot of Smash has changed (some for better and some for worse), I feel like most of your perceived changes here come across more as you changing as you grew up, not Smash changing. Smash is still fun. I have a slew of issues with Ultimate, but I've also put like 2,000 hours into the game so clearly I still enjoy it :P Brawl is the best Smash outside of the roster though, glad more people are seeing that now.

Yeah, now Smash Bros is only about For Glory. :^) In all seriousness though, as a person who has invested so much time into Smash that it could be considered a borderline addiction, the series has only gone up. And even though there are things missing from Ultimate like trophies and extra casual modes (Break the Targets, Classic All-Star, etc.) it is still undeniably the best in the series. Brawl was where I truly started with Smash and having a new spin on Subspace Emissary would be incredible, but I think the scope of the crossover has prevented the mode from returning because you have to hope all the companies will play ball. The next Smash game is likely in development, but I don't know how they can top Ultimate with its wealth of content and the supposed leave of Sakurai. The only thing I can be certain of is that it will not have Sora and that will make me very sad.

I love the 3ds so much but sadly I got into it quite late. It was originally gifted to me in 2017 but back then I didn't play it that much, especially because soon after that I got my first phone, and when I did play it I couldn't do much with all those online stuff with other players because my parent used the parental control feature to block everything (even though they didn't know what they were doing, for instance I couldn't even use the 3D feature, on a "3D"s😐). So I could say that I actually started playing with my 3ds only in 2022, when I bought a couple of games that I've wanted since I was a child and that were more interesting than the ones that I had. But by that time the 3ds was already kind of forgotten (luckily tho I had my older sibling to play with) and I mainly focused on playing the games that I had instead of exploring more in depth all of the programs and stuff that the console had to offer (for example the other games for the Mii plaza) so I ended up never experiencing a lot of the cool things since the shop ended up closing along with the Miiverse (I think?). So I'm extremely grateful that at least the streetpass continues to work, it really makes me so happy when it connects to someone else's 3ds, especially because I started to bring it with me everywhere only recently and I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were other people in my school that had it (even though I met both of those students at my school twice and never again, who know if they were actually form my school or just random people form the street). I really wish that I was there to play the 3ds when it was at it's prime but I still think that it's cool asf to meet people through the street pass, even though they're just a few. It's like we are a part of a community that only we know of and it makes us close to strangers that we have never even spoke with before, I will totally continue to carry my 3ds on me to keep all of this alive!

I’m sorry but I disagree. Smash was always competitive. Even with Smash 64, I remember my friends and I going up against each 1v1 and no items.

Smash Ultimate is hella fun.

When it was new and polygons were new and we didn't care about graphics, Smash redefined fighting games.

I dont understand how people can think 5 boards are better than 4. I can completely see that for three reasons. 1. The boards are actual 3D into the board design and are not a floating metal path with background elements. 2. The boards do not have parts of them restricted by a worse skeleton key. 3. The biggest reason and by far the most important is that Mario partys 4 boards either have possible infinites or walking around in a circle one maybe twice due to not fault of your own toads midway madness beginning and browser gnarley party bridge at start that makes the last place circle around a 15+ spaces three times.
