Onero Online - Osteoporosis Exercise Treatment
Have you had clients with severe OP achieve positive results that stopped progression? I have -4 spine with OA. Would starting your online program be safe or do you suggest I find a PT who will follow it with me?
You are Amazing ❤️. Wish we had something here in the UK. I am at the gym with a fantastic trainer, dead lifts etc. I achieve two sessions in one week. I've been training for 6 months. I am going for a Rems test next week,as our system only allows a Dexa scan every 3-5 years. So,I'm going private for my test. I do hope my bone density has improved. But,I've watched, Learnt so much from you and would like to say a huge, huge Thank you. You have saved my life. ❤
i hope you will be able to establish this clinic in Victoria Australia and other states as well.
We dont have this in the U k.😢,wish we did. Its Amazing. Thank you.
I wish so much we had this here in Fort Worth Texas! Most awesome thing EVER!
I’m in Fort Worth Texas USA and in my heart this is a route I should take. I have an appointment with my orthopedic doctor in two days. I’m going to present this video as well as a print out of the LIFTMOR study. Prayers he gives his blessing. (I already have a personal trainer who can keep me in good form, spot me, and keep me on task) 🤞
How did it go? I’m a physical therapist and personal trainer and highly advocate for strength training. Many healthcare providers including physicians aren’t knowledgeable on this and perceive it as dangerous. To that I say having weak muscles and brittle bones is dangerous. I hope your physician was receptive!
I can’t understand why lifting these heavy weights doesn’t cause compression fractures in the spine.
I can understand your concern. trial participants started with bodyweight or very low weight, and worked on improving form with guidance from the professionals before they started lifting heavier. This is called progressive overload. I believe there was only one “adverse incident” during the trial, low back strain that resolved in a week. I’m a physical therapist and personal trainer; low back pain that resolves in a week is very minor. Having weak muscles and brittle bones is the greater threat to quality of life and life itself.
This should be available in the US everywhere! Because it is a women's health issue primarily, little to no progress on safe solutions to build bone for women!
Most countries.
Any recent updates on this?
I wish this program was widely available at hospitals/PT clinics in the US! I live in NH-- where can I access this?
I think the main benefit is emotional. People want to feel that this is going to improve their bones. Walking, gardening, cleaning, bicycling all work muscles that surround the bones as well.
Thank you Is there a branch in Melbourne ? Any recomendation for similar clinic in Melbourne ? For a 75 years old lady ?
This is excellent!!
I have just finished my first week of Onero on Line - I tried without shoes and found it quite difficult but now wear a flat shoe while I adjust, thank you for that information very helpful. Really enjoyed my first week and notice a big difference in my balance already! Despite doing lots of other weight bearing exercises and Yoga/Pilates this I am doing diligently and from the start as I want to be prepared and strong for when you do have an ONERO site in the UK I can go to do the more challenging exercises. Meanwhile I'll work my way through these 2 years in the hope you get a centre started over here! in the UK - we desperately need one! Preferably Bristol!
where are you located?
Google her.
Any update on this?
I love this, but when you talk of low density, it would be nice to show readings like -what
Your music a bit loud I can’t hear you clearly.😊
Very shameful that they post these videos and provide no helpful info. Concerning where we can find a similar program elsewhere if they exist. I guess it’s aiming people from that particular country. Go figure
Update: last nite I came across an exercise RUclips video for osteoporosis posted by the Bone Clinic: Onero Online- Osteoporosis Exercise Treatment by Prof. Belinda Beck and Linda Weis. This was posted many years ago. If anyone here is interested. I started doing them this morning. In addition to other strength training exercises I already do.
Excellent video, so inspiring.🙏👏❤️
Is this something you can sign up for??? Is it online?
yes - onero.online/
@@FernL-MindfulnessMeditation Is FITMOR the same as Onero? Thanks.
@@BeaTrice10 Onero™ is based on the LIFTMOR study which has shown that certain kinds of high intensity loading can be both safe and effective even for people with low bone mass if supervised under the right conditions.

Amazing!
Very helpful thank you
Sorry can't hear it.. what a shame
Agree - hear enough to know that this is valuable info.
It's a shame that the volume is low and she is talking in a low, somewhat gravelly voice. I struggled to hear her properly.
thank you! very helpful :)
Fantastic talk Belinda!
Thank you for posting !
As an avid tennis and platform tennis player, can I keep playing at my usual level even with osteoporosis?
Kudos to you, what an amazing thing you are doing there. Come to the UK!
Please come to Perth!!
How does one enroll in an online class please?
They don’t seem to reply to comments. Website same name as YT channel. Was easy to find with search. Good luck.
From my search, it seems you can go to onero.online/ and click one of the two Sign Up Today buttons.
The sound is too hard for me to hear even with Bluetooth direct to my phone. A poor quality audio. Very disappointing for deaf people.
There is a real need for this in the US.
Where are you located please
Terrible audio.
Nailed it with HEAVY and HIGH IMPACT!!! The very things who will benefit us the most are the ones we are often told to avoid!
It would be nice to have this in Canada.
Search bone clinics in Canada and or your province. Some in Ontario (not this specific one) who do similar.
@@jmc8076 ok thanks
A good persinal trainer can provide the same help with exercise. There are a lot in ontario that specialize in osteoporisis. Building bone is complex and involves a number of factors not just heavy weightlifting and jump training.
GREAT JOB GUYS....Keep going Strong!)🙏🙏🙏
We look forward to your expansion/branches throughout Australia. A much needed resource that will be valued by all who have osteoporosis and wish to improve bone density in as natural a way as is possible.
Cool. I wish they had a program like this in Canada.
I wish they had this in Canada. Too bad everything here is drugs drugs drugs.
I wish we had this in Canada. It's tough not knowing what to do.
It aint coincidence that Western nations have the highest Osteoporosis rates. It's the shitty diet we eat.
This seems promising. I wish we had something like this in Canada.
Do you guys have an online course? I'm 36 and I'm in the -4.0 t score range. Am I screwed?
The weight lifting looks all wrong to me with too much stress on the back instead of lifting with the legs. Glad it's working for them.
Can’t hear it
the images of cable exercises or jumping on trampolines have nothing to do with the exercise program delivered in the bone clinic, and are not what should be prescribed to people with osteoporosis. not sure why the news station used those.
I and a friend of mine have gone on a bone friendly diet eating lots of stuff the bone likes to get strong and for weight workouts we are using a vest at www.nykweightvest.com we have both gained bone mass and all we do is walk in our vests and eat the bone healthy diet thats it . its not rocket science just good sense
Do you mind sharing what bone healthy diet you follow.
