At moment 9:43 you actually met the LEGENDARY Conrad!! About a decade ago, we met him on the street in a similar fashion and after a bit of back and forth, he gave us the most thorough tour of Casco Viejo Panama. Somehow he got us into the Presidential Palace! The man is a living legend.

So if Merida is so welcoming and wonderful, why are folks from Central America bypassing Mexico to make the long, dangerous trek to risk drowning in the Rio Grande? Could it be that you wouldn't be so welcome without being an exotic American with at least a middle class income? Would you be as welcome coming as a poor man from Haiti or Honduras?

the reason why the time was wrong is because of the time The reason why the time was wrong is because of the time zone in the state of Quintana Roo, here in Quintana Roo we do not have daylight saving time, so here it is 1 hour ahead of the rest of the peninsula, when the ticket was printed You say 2 pm in Mérida but 3 pm in Tulum, I think they have to clarify that in the ticket to avoid misunderstandings like that.

As an Expat myself, Please try to Learn a little bit of the language!! Local people are very Welcoming, but they can feel some Resentment if you try to form a seperate Community.. Locals want you to be part of the Community instead of JUST isolating and Talking among yourselves....

I want to move but my job uses whatsmyipaddress, and we have to be plugged in to Ethernet would I be able to use vpn to live in another state?

I am taking many notes from your videos. I will be living in Merida for 180 days, looking for immediate hotel to further find an apartment for six month stay, or airbnb. I think you said airbnb was the best way to go for short term stay under a year. Thank you.

if you knew how much us tax payers are wasting in this train, you would not think the way you're thinking. The most recent studies say that one average the train is only transporting less than 10 people per train car so the train is losing huge amounts of money. Since it started this project had a lot of problems, it was blocked many times by many federal judges for violating many articles of the constitution so Obrador bypassed this by declaring it a national security project and sealing the cost of the project for 10 years. In fact this is one of the 3 mega projects that Obrador started and all these projects are losing money. The new gov is now thinking of making the train a cargo train because it can't justify the operating cost. Obrador increased the foreign debt by 60% in almost 6 years and most of this money when to his projects and to give money to the people. All this information comes from the government.
