Note: Probably, the fake AirPods packaging's paperwork is probably stolen from another airpods box because it already said on the checker, it's replaced.

I was unable to determine if mine are fake or real. It seems i would have to purchase a known real pair and compare side by side just like you did.

My “AirPods” failed miserably but the serial numbers is right but they are not bad for a fake pair and pretty worth it for the price

For the real ones wild the underside of base box display vary or is it always the same with the AirPods to the right slightly

The fake ones dont have conversation awareness or adaptive transparency. I checked my sister's and she doesn't have that compared to my friends one. They also get really squeaky and the sound goes out of one ear sometimes

The shaky camera and switching angles really fast really didn't help with trying to spot the differences

I didn’t realize I got juiced until today actually when I took mine to the Apple Store for a repair. The battery wont hold a charge at all anymore and chooses when it wants to even take a charge. The case will say 100% on its battery when plugged in and working but the second it’s off the charger it drops to 0%

Mine are even faker than those! Fortunately they were given to me. I just ordered some new ones from Verizon today. It’s buy one get one half off so I grabbed two. 🎉

Just bought some fakes, a few other things to note: 1) The fake case cover will wiggle around and feel loose and cheap 2) That serial number thats on the case that checks out with the box is DIFFERENT from what is shown if you go into settings and find it from the airpods settings. 3) You can switch between the three modes via settings but cannot switch it on the airpods themselves. Both earpieces toggle siri. The sound that you are supposed to hear when switching between all three is also different and it sounds cut off and muffled. 4) The peeling on the back on the fakes do not come off easily. Keep that in mind. 5) I also found that overall sound quality sounds muffled or washed out on the fake ones. I hate it. Dont make the same mistake I did.

For $35 though i definitely don't feel scammed lol. I knew going in they were probably fake. But i use on Samsung so i wasn't worried about any features working. & They sound great. That's all that matters to me

I'm using on a Samsung so I can't compare features. They do make a noise when i press the button though it sounds different from what i heard

I'm sure they're fake though. They don't say apple on the box. They only cost $35 brand new & came from China. They're just getting better at the looks. Lanyard is metal & box of tips is more legit.

Idk about the weight... Mine weigh 7.13 but the case weighs & buds including weight 61 like yours

... But im starting to think that they're real now with the way the lanyard & extra tips look

Think i just got some knock off from eBay for $35. They sound really good though. Gotta say I'm not disappointed.

Hearing it in a fake AirPods

mine shows that it is made in usa and only green light is seen. is it genuine?

The problem is nowadays it’s cheap to produce high quality earphones so if you dont know any better u probably won’t notice

So on the back of my airpods it says “Designed by Apple in California” “Assembled in Vietnam” so does that mean mine are fake?? Everything on my case and on the airpods were exactly like the real ones in this video except the Vietnam part.. They were given to me by a friend and i only had them a few months before they completely stopped working. First the pods wouldn’t charge even though the case was 100% and within days of that happening the case wont charge or do anything lol 😢

I'm going to leave this comment here so I can come back to it and tell you guys if my airpods pro second gen from mercari are real or not, they are still in delivery. I was pretty darn sure these were real because the seller was really nice about giving more photos and showed a picture of the flap where you change the airpod tip and they had those circle things at the top that you can see in 5:01 of the video, unlike the fakes that didnt have those circle things on the top. And what made me even more sure that they were real, is that I contacted a person that bought it, since maybe all those 5 star reviews could be bots, I asked them if the pair they got from the person was real or not. And they said that they used some sort of apple website and plugged in their airpods with the charging cable into their computer and it told them that they are real. Even though I'm pretty darn confident these are real, they could still come back as fakes, wish me luck yall(Currently the airpods are still in shipping) also sorry for a whole essay...
