2024.06.26 Why I suggest buying Swarm Commander.
I hung 2 bait hives on May 13th 2024 with a competitor swarm lure. Within a week I caught a swarm. But the swarm didn't move into the bait hives I hung instead they moved into one I left on the ground with an old Swarm Commander Super lure. I bought the super lure a couple years ago. I'm still using my original bottle of Swarm Commander that I bought in 2019 too.

I had to change the tie wraps I was using. The first tie wrap was too small, and it came apart during load. I replaced them with a thicker tie wrap, and it worked great last year.
Any updates after your modification?
Hi David how are you sir
❤ salam sukses Aslmualaikum saya dari indonesia sangatlah menyukai cara anda budidaya.
I really like your adjustable table that's a real good idea. Blessed Days David...
These swarm traps are built following the recommendations of Thomas Seeley. Location, location, location. Yes, location is important. Close to a source of bees with a tendency to swarm helps. In my case, I'm catching my own swarms.
David, thanks for sharing your thoughts on swarm trapping. I'm not an avid swarm trapper and I don't put a lot of effort into it, and some years I don't even bother. I believe the location and timing has more to do with it than what kind of lure a person uses, but that's just my thoughts on it, but maybe you can teach me more about it.
Baits, bait but I think it's trap size and location personally, with brood comb having the largest impact for stickage. But that is just from watching videos. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Blessed Days...
Hoot! David I think we just had a move in today. Darn good fortune.
Wow, you've had your hands in quite a few projects... Thanks for sharing with us!😊
Morning David, looks like a nice morning, Surprise BEES!
Morning David.
That explains why. When I when to reduce the air pressure I forgot to finish nailing the first side. I noticed that 4 frames were not Stapled later when I was adding rubber bands for a cut out.
Super 👍

He´s got your back! Otherwise you might have learned the hard way by destroying an engine due to overheating.
Yup..lol. got the just of it though..
I appear to been muted the whole time!
Sorry I missed ya live David, Fun days.😁Blessed Days...
Baling hay with a combination of horses and motorized modern equipment makes sense and is effective.
Thanks for showing us around 😊
Way cool, thanks David.😁So is the camping trailer where you get send when ya are in trouble?😂Blessed Days David.
How'd you guess 🤣
Morning David, I don't think bees like the jars to much I have seen a few be successful at it but not many. I wonder if fewer jars might help. Blessed Days, David...
😂David😂fun days.👏
Dang it David, i missed your live. Hope you do more of them will look forward to catching you some time, thks for the vid
Hey David, you have real swarm boxes. I'm only using jester bee nuc boxes, swarm rustler, and crossed fingers.
00:24:25 at the twist of the wrist, they are there😢
I've since started taping my gloves and sleeves

You can often tell the lawn belong to a beek because it has a few dandelions like mine. LOL I have mine up also to catch my swarms.
That works!😊 hopefully, they redesign it by the time I need one!😂
Neet o😊
I always figure it's better to trap your own bees then for them to fly off.😁Blessed Days, David...
🙋 нормально! 👍 🐝🐝🐝
Right after taking this video I started inspecting hive number 5 of my 8 vertical hives. Should of, would of, could of filmed the inspection. The hive smelled to high heaven. Strongest hive yet but it smelled. 5 frames of brood in top box and 3 in bottom box. Took the top box off and noticed that one frame was coming apart but that wasn't the worst thing. This first frame I pulled came up with mouse nest material hanging on the bottom. Yup. It had a mouse nest in it. This is the only screen bottom board I have and it was the source of the smell. Replaced the bottom board and reassembled the hive. That's enough for now.
Dang, that is some 😳dandelions.🥰Looks like they are getting started David.😁Blessed Days buddy...👍
I also like the honey stand. I need to figure out the best way to do my stand this summer. Any opinions on the cash box being open so customers can get their own change, or should it be a locked box? -Darren
My cash box is bolted to the shelf and locked. I'm in a relatively honest neighborhood. That being said I had a theft about two months ago in the 5 years the stand has been there. I had a lot of product on the shelves. I've since reduced the amount of product on the shelves to 3 each. I've heard it said only put out what you can afford to loose. I've had several people leave an extra dollar because of the no change problem.
Looking good David😁I like your honey stand.👍
Looking good, David. Love seeing the dials on.
👋Morning David.😁

Hi David, sorry I missed ya. Thanks for sharing your time, it worked well except for a few spot of it lagging a bit. It looks like it was a beautiful day for the bees. Some time I would love a closer look at the different long hives you have. I am going to convert the one I have in to my queen breeding system but I need to build a lid for it.
Darn.
