I am not an expert on Roman history. I did find your video interesting, but I agree with those who say that you sold Constantine short. He was Constantine the great after all and he was able to defeat all of his enemies and consolidate power and bring Christianity the Roman Empire. I will admit that I'm somewhat biased as a Christian but you are have an obvious bias against the practice. I would argue that Christianity has taught peace and brought providence to the nation's that have been faithful to its teachings. It instills gratitude and discipline in people by making them accountable to something higher than themselves. If civilization comes to ruin it will be because the West forsaken this gift to humanity. Your palpable disdain only fuels this fire.

It makes me think of how Appian explained that often when the empire came into some manner of crisis the government would (in an effort to bypass the sloth of bureaucracy) elect a dictator who was only meant to hold power long enough to quickly resolve the crises and stop things from becoming worse.
