is it just me or this this the first dude i've seen have game sense while benchmarking

this game doesnt work on my pc for some reason. I have the exact same specs and screen resolution as you, but when I open the game, it shows a white screen but doesnt do anything past that. Any idea? Im thinking it has something to do with the graphics card compatibility because my computer doesnt seem to want games with older games like pacman, crash bandicoot, etc. If I could atleast get into the game to change the settings, that would be good, but I cant even do that.

Nice too see another channel doing linux stuff but I'd seriously recommend going Fedora or at least grabbing the driver PPA, you'll see some good performances gains and get access to DLSS frame gen

Pretty nice Linux support these days. I guess it's thanks to the Steam Deck that's based on Linux that they finally bothered to make games compatible with it. I have R7 7700x with RX 7900 and it's tempting me to try it out and see how it performs too

since you are using nvidia i suggest to use the following: 1- proton GE with their latest releases 2- latest nvidia drivers or anything above 560.3 since i think mint doesn't ship the latest drivers 3- you can try nobara or cachyOS since they ship with the most stable and cutting edge kernel+nvidia+proton releases.

With such a high end pc I wouldn't go Linux. Probably a mid range to low end I might consider cause I saw Linux has less stuttering

The fps loss in Uncharted 4 is extremely high, that's almost 50% less fps. I wish devs would stop using Direct Garbage and start using Vulkan...

My 4070 laptop can play the game at around 50 to 60 fps at ultrawide 1440p with ray tracing off, shadow high and texture high 2gb while maxing out everything else except with no motion blur, depth of field and lens distortion. Using about 80 to close to 100 % gpu usage at 80 to 115 watts and around 70 to 80 degrees celcius.

I’m utterly taken back by the performance of the 4090 in 4K after looking at performance of the 4070 Super 4K videos.. Yes this is raw 4090 gameplay and yes the 4070 Super videos had DLSS turned on but that just doesn’t make much of a difference to me. Not even a 90fps average in Fortnite? I was literally about to sell a heap of camera equipment to get the 4090 but this video has me reconsidering.

I know its a benchmark but honestly just use dlss quality, it looks way better imo then the taa method they used in this game its just too blurry.

i have a 12900k and 4090 and i get such crap performance - i am usually in the 80-90 fps and my settings are mostly medium - I don't understand this game

Man its funny how much the clouds kill FPS, 50fps with a 4090. Not even that can brute force it. And the clouds look ass too, got a tonne of artifacts.
