I see from comments you are fun Billtron carb. Are you also still running Apex head mx dome gnarly pipe? On my YamiX im running xc with fww, gov mod and 13-51. Sounds like your yami chuggs way lower. Love your vids. You need to check out the VIHSS on Vancouver island they run a bunch of hare scrambles and several hard enduros a year.

I just picked up a 23' and in the process of getting it single track/hard Enduro ready. Apex head, 13oz fww, still working on jetting. Also, I'm working on fork valving, want to soften the high speed a bit, then I'll address the shock. So, far the bike is a blast to ride, love the light nimble feel compared to my 20' 300 xcw. If I get the x where I want it, I'll sell the xcw.

Would you recommend the x for whooped out 50inch sand trails or is the suspension to soft?

Care to share your carb setup, did you swap out the power jet or delete it.

Great video! Thanks for the insights, since apex shares and suggests rejetting it. Is there a sure way to know if the calmness of the bike is solely due to dome ? I’m thinking to play with jetting first before buying the dome to calm the bike down.

Enjoy watching the videos!! On the fence about getting the Apex head for my bike 250x ? Heard great things about the xc dome in the tight woods which is what I ride most but I ride a little bit of Mx as well. I enjoy the overrev of stock head. My question is if I get the xc dome is it going to kill my top end over rev ? I’m overall happy with the bike but would like more torque in the woods, or would I be better off with the Mx or sx dome? Thanks in advance
