So, its been 3 years since my last post on the status of my S60 2.5t. It's hardly a 2.5t anymore. In the last year, I've rebuilt, ported and polished the cylinder head, shimmed and resurfaced the block, upgraded to a K24 71mm hybrid turbo, upgraded to the S4 MAF, 650cc injectors and DW300c pump, and added methanol. Added to that is a Hilton stage 3 tune. The big question yet to be answered is what does the dyno say. I can tell you that the "butt dyno" says 350+ hp. I compare that to my wife's 2015 XC60 T6 that is rated at 302 hp. Anyhow, the car is running like a beast!

Long shot, but do you know where to get the hose that actually connects to the block? Not the one coming out of the oil cooler, the hose with the bleeder valve on it

I hope you bought a lottery ticket after finding those turbo to downpipe bolts so nice and loose.

Do you need any extra intercooler piping or are the stock ones good enough

is this intercooler good for builds between 350-400hp? I am aiming to do that, engine is currently being rebuilt, other parts have been bought too (hybrid 16T turbo, 550cc bosch injectors, walbro 255 pump etc), but I'm still not sure whether to go with do88 or fmic. Any info on this would be much appreciated, thanks!

i dont think you need to fully remove the charge pipe to access the torx under it, i removed the 2 torxes and it gave enough wiggle room to get to the torx under the pipe 🤔

Is this affecting the engine cooling/heating? As I've red somewhere that some guys had problems with that, as the engine was heating to a max. 80°C, not 90.

Omg, how do you install the turbo hose? It’s such a tight squeeze with the brake lines that I couldn’t get mine in 🙄 Have to take another try at it..

For anyone tackling this job i recommend putting the oil return pipe on whilst the turbo is still loose, it can be very awkward to put back in as it needs to go on straight and cannot be at an angle. i would also recommend removing the air box as it allows you to push the intake pipe on the turbo much easier. In my case the car had been converted to LPG (GAS) so the engine bay was quite a bit tighter as the loom, ecu and pipes were situated below the scutttle panel. Best of luck to anyone who is going to take this job on!

Hey! I've recently watched your video of how to replace the rear sway bar but i can't seem to find your video of how to replace the front one, do you have one or can you quickly explain how many parts that needed to be removed/changed in order to remove the front one? I got a V70 T5 2007. I saw in your turbo replacement video that you've changed the front one since i saw the blue down there :P Very nice videos by the way, just found your channel and very well made videos about more "rare" stuff that can be hard to find on the web :)

You should have tied a string, rope or (non-sparking) wire to the pump wiring harness before you pulled the harness out through the tank. That way you can use the string to drag the harness back through its original routing inside the tank. im replaceing my fuelpump to on my t5 05.. but i didnt use a wire/rope in the tank to get the line back as it should be. i draged it like u did in the tank ( back of the tank ) and that wrong, u have to put the line in front of the tank insted like ur vid u but it in the back.. i did so and my car didnt drive great after that cuz the lines was in a bad angel.. did u have any problemes with that?

Great video! Straight to the point and easy to follow. What was difficult was taking the right door puddle light from the mirror. I applied so much force at some point that the whole mirror twisted and hit my face. On the other hand, I had no trouble removing the left one.

Hey I have a big question that it's always on my mind about my Volvo . So when I first bought it and I would start it I would hear the turbo charging ,by the time I lost those 10sec were you hear it charge ,do you know why ?
