It's not true. I don't know what made you say that, but most populated servers are actually english-speaking. What's true, imo, is that english speakers tend to have fewer microphones and communicate less on average.

@bouberakiryabryanrr6396 Beaucoup disent ça oui mais non, personnellement je ne joue pas en low et je ne connais personne jouant en low, même parmi ceux qui cherchent toutes les techniques, astuces et failles du jeu pour dominer. Je trouve que c'est un peu un genre de mythe comme le fameux "il prend pas ses balles" 😂 En près de 2000h de jeu sur Squad 44, je n'ai eu le sentiment que quelqu'un jouait en low qu'une seule fois pendant le match communautaire le plus toxique auquel j'ai pu jouer l'an dernier (trash talk, provocations, râleurs, teabag...). En effet, pendant ce match, un tireur d'élite (avec lunette sur son fusil et balle traçante à chaque tir) était capable de bizarrement toucher des cibles à travers plusieurs buissons à plus de 100m sans problème mais à partir du moment où tu étais à moins de 100m environ il ne te voyait plus. Je n'ai pas eu de preuve mais c'est bien là le seul cas où j'ai pu suspecter un joueur d'abuser des graphismes en low.

Haha that's what english speaking servers (UK & US) are for, playing with and against bots that is 😅 In my opinion, the best public server to challenge my skill level (individual skill level & communication) is the French one, but being French myself, I'm obviously biased. And obviously, if you participate in private clan matches like I do, you can have some of the best challenging gunfights you'll ever have in the game. One good example on my channel could be the video "Grave Competitive Match (DT+PzC vs CoalFR)" [2 years ago].

Haha that's one of the things I love in this game: marksman-ing with iron sights! At Foy and Haguenau (the snow maps), I could almost role-play as the Simo "white death" Häyhä!

Ah yes! I had a good time with the french-manufactured Chauchat this time around: 54/11/63. I just found the date, it was the 30th of march 2024! And right after that game on Maleme, I did more than 40 kills on Foy with a Kar including exactly 20 headshots lol

In terms of player count and popularity, yes, absolutely. But when it comes to gameplay (gun play, freedom of micro and macro movements, teamwork, ...) it's arguable, and in my opinion, Squad 44 (formerly known as "Post Scriptum") is better in those regards. P.S.: According to me, micro movements are the movements that the body of the player can make (leaning, jumping, vaulting, crouching, prone, etc...) and macro movements represent how much the player can take different paths when it comes to moving around on the map (flanking, climbing roofs, rocks, trees, ...).

Thank you! Actually, the modding community has been trying to do that. There's Shifting Sands for North Africa (Libya), Chapter Red for the Eastern Front and a lot of modded maps when it comes to the invasion of France. And even in the vanilla version! We already have operation Market Garden, Colmar & Haguenau which are lesser seen battles. But it's true that it would be really cool to see some of the Myanmar (formerly Burma) Campaign or the Italian Campaign of WWII.

Yes, this map does look great and it does feel great to play as well 😃 I don't think OWI's butchering the game per se. Some of the changes they made are really cool. They just need to fix some of the "new" things. I guess the "bad" changes would have been better accepted if there had been a roadmap. I think that the pill would have gone down better if we'd been warned.

@@Focs_Squad44 I mean the changes on the core gameplay itself, I don't really mind that much about new graphics for exemple. But the changes they've made about removing MSPs and downgrading the whole logistical system was definetly not a good one (I mean, we got some 8-10 km² maps but all we have to build now are six 100m circles???, that is about only 2,5% of a map's area avaliable to build anything). I personally think that the changes on the logi was just a way to discourage people from playing it so in the next update they can remove the dedicated logi squads from the game, there is no doubt that they just want to make a "Squad but WW2" at this point.

I hope they bring back towing at some point, for now it has been completelly removed as well. And give the radioman a better radial menu with the squad orders markers (attack, build, etc) so he can really act like second in command like that loading screen tip implies. Salut Stéphane ! Personnellement j'ai une config très moyenne (1060 6gb, i5-8400k, ...) et je n'ai pas trop de soucis. Sinon la config recommandée est 1070 ou Radeon 580 et un processeur à 6 "physical cores" (Ex : i5-8400k). Il faut savoir que ce jeu est gourmand sur le processeur donc c'est plus ton CPU (processeur) qui déterminera tes performances graphiques que ton GPU (carte graphique). Du moins c'est ce que je pense Honnêtement, après plus de 1600 heures de jeu et en étant exigeant en ce qui concerne les performances graphiques (surtout le nombre d'images par seconde), les seuls problèmes de latence que j'ai rencontré étaient dû à des serveurs qui peuvent occasionnellement lagger ou sur des maps mal optimisées (Ex : Maleme & Rethymno = toutes deux en Crète).

Yes, I hope so to. But I gotta say that the changes they've made with the latest update don't reassure me about the direction they'll be taking in the game's future development. Yes, the name is kinda goofy, I would have liked a more serious name. The really good thing they've done is that now you can see other squad's rallies in blue but that can be a double-edged sword because I've had to move my rally tonight because another squad put theirs on mine and my squad couldn't spawn on it anymore... Anyway, nothing really terrible, so we'll see what happens next!

@@Focs_Squad44 I tried to reinstall the game twice now but I can't get it running, every time I try to launch it is a UE crash. And damn man, I took a peek at Squad to see how its been doing, they've added paid skins and those fortnite emotes what the hell????? I almost puked myself from my blood pressure going down, not looking foward at all to the next updates sadly, just this rebranding says it all to me. Sorry for such negative comment

@@lorenzosyperreck8941 Yes, I had to reinstall it too. One of my friends even had to reinstall it 4 times! The gunplay changes (recoil, animations, etc.) are the ones that bother me the most because they make the game easier to play but at the cost of creating more inequalities between players. This means that players who are already good become even better and dominate new players even more. Yes, I don't know what to expect next either... We can only hope for the best.

I'd love that too! But I don't think it will ever happen. For example, Squad will apparently never be released on console. And Post Scriptum was built on the same engine as Squad...

Well, judging things solely on their appearance doesn't always work... As far as Post Scriptum (PS) and HLL are concerned, I prefer PS because of the freedom of movement, the gunplay, the sound design, the communication and tactics systems and the game's community.

Yes, the number of full servers has risen from 1-3 to 6-8! That just goes to show how great the game is! But it didn't really come out of nowhere. It started with rumors that Off World Industries (OWI ; Squad developers) would buy the game, then the buyout was officially announced by OWI's community manager and finally A LOT of people and RUclipsrs spread the news.

Oh, so that explains it. Well, I just hope they don't do ano "overhaul" that fries the GPU and gives soldiers Barbie doll arms

To be honest, I stopped playing Post Scriptum for six months and deleted all the video clips I had because I thought the game was definitely dead to me (meaning the French server was dying and I didn't like playing on international servers). But, lo and behold, I came back some nights the last few weeks and have been playing it like the old times for the last week! 🥳

@@426replica Thanks for sharing! I also played Squad, but I didn't get hooked. What I like most about Post Scriptum is the intensity and immersion. I had a bit of both in Squad, but not as much and not as repeatedly as in Post Scriptum.

Hehe! Nice to see you're still there too! I stopped playing PS for 6 months and deleted (more or less) 2 To(s) of PS video clips because I thought the game was definitely dead. But, lo and behold, the game isn't dead, the international server (the 100th battleground) is filled most of the time and isn't too bad to play on and the french server (501e) opens every wednesday night!

To be honest, I didn't notice any difference when it comes to the User Interface before & after June 2022 (although I spent hundreds of hours on the game since June 2022) 😅 Ah yeah, I think you're talking about the Spawn / Respawn Interface. Yes, it bothered me a bit in the beginning but it wasn't much of a problem to me and other players I'm playing with in the mid to long run. Considering that all people officially working on the game except the lead developer have been officially fired the 1st January of 2023, I think I'm not overstepping too much when saying that the dev team has already been dissolved 😅

@@Focs_Squad44 Yup... I must admit I falsely understood what actually happend that the former devs were fired but the studio still exists... Thinking it positively we could still expect the studio to hire new devs for updating the game as they once promised to introduce the Greek and Italian factions. Hope they can earn enough money from other games like Squad and one day achieve this.

@@albertissteinenstein4963 My only hope, though a "dangerous" one, is that an other studio buys it and start a rebuild process, specially when it comes to the game's optimization
