the game came back from the dead out of nowhere, don't know how long it will last, I would guess like ~700 players online avarege

Yes, the number of full servers has risen from 1-3 to 6-8! That just goes to show how great the game is!
But it didn't really come out of nowhere.
It started with rumors that Off World Industries (OWI ; Squad developers) would buy the game, then the buyout was officially announced by OWI's community manager and finally A LOT of people and RUclipsrs spread the news.

Oh, so that explains it. Well, I just hope they don't do ano "overhaul" that fries the GPU and gives soldiers Barbie doll arms
