The REAL Forgotten Persona
A delve into one of the more obscure stories in the Persona franchise, but despite being niche, perhaps it can show us something new and unique.
Persona: Crime and Punishment was a manga released alongside the Persona 2 duology, taking place 6-12 months before the events of Eternal Punishment, and it provides a story that surprises.

How To Displace Phantom WITHOUT Changing Your Controls
I thought it's gonna be vincent
i feel like now that ive finished the p2 duology i should start reading this but uhhhhh
He should get interviewed and him explain what waa going on in his heas in that final part
Ah yes, the intricate dance of celestial harmonics meets the quantum oscillations of the untethered mind. A journey not bound by mere perception but transcending the very fabric of what we believe time to be! Did anyone else catch the fleeting glimpse of the Fibonacci spiral swirling beneath the surface at 2:13? Or was that just an echo of the collective consciousness resonating in sync with the 7th dimensional waveform? Truly, this is where the left brain meets the right, but only if you squint hard enough through the kaleidoscope of post-modern existential absurdity! I felt as though I was being pulled through the cosmic web by a thousand tiny hands made of stardust and forgotten dreams, and yet, the bananas, they keep ripening. Who knew that such knowledge could be contained within a few mere minutes? Perhaps none of us truly exist, but that's okay because this video does, and that's all that matters, until it doesn't.
I thought I knew most things about this franchise, like even the lost media mobile games. But somehow I’ve never heard of this. Great video!
I’ve read this before. It’s decent but the Factory Family was by far my favourite part of it.
Being a Megami Tensei AND a Tales of fan who doesn't know Japanese is a struggle.
This was very interesting, I never actually paid much attention when I saw something about this previously. Thanks for sharing a neat part of persona history
I swear to god I'd heard about it before (in some other unknown persona content video ) but It's great to know what it was about
I thought you was gonna talk about the persona mobile games but no this is something the i never heard of
evo moment #38
Nonchallant? This man's never made eye contact with challant.
Omg, that outro frame was golden.
I've heard of this before, I didn't believe I'd ever see a video on it
A true wrestler
we need more persona manga that tell NEW stories in the world of the series
your presentation was super entertaining !
Negged for not showing
I don’t have much to add really but I’m glad to see you cover this manga! It was certainly a tough read the first time through and certain things or terminology is hard to follow due to the translation at times. What I really liked was the fact that the keys turned into swords that really changed the tides of battle. I also loved the reference to the the Black Books and the Red Book by Jung, being very explicitly mentioned in a Persona work. Overall I was a fan of the main cast and became very endeared to Kazumi! Thanks for a great video!
nobody going to mention he did the splits?
Justin v. Daigo punish just _"one of"_ the best EVO moments?? Bruh, that's *THE* defining EVO moment. People who aren't even into fighting games know just how famous that unbelievable moment is. It's nothing less than TAS level perfection.
we don’t talk about “I’m in the house like carpet.”
is it tsumi to batsu?
Yup
You did an incredible job of allowing a viewer to re-live that moment. You've helped cement the history. Thanks for taking time to make this!
literal chillz
....I've genuinely never heard of this before
You talk about fighting games like they're a girlfriend
Penis Cat: The Video that KoreanBF Forgot
Nothing is useless, and sometimes the most devastating weapon is countered by the smallest thing; like an X-Wing killing a Death Star, or a hobbit carrying the one ring.
😎👍
Hayao is easily in the running for pop-off GOAT. The one man who can make Pokchop sweat.
Do more of these!!! This was awesome!
Part 4 was such a huge step up from part 3 in terms of writing. I'm glad Araki gave the villain more involvement in the greater plot, and everything that David Prod. changed/added to improve the story. Even with this amazing cast of characters, I don't think a purely villain-of-the-week formula that part 3 followed would keep me interested.
the fact that you managed to stretch such a simple concept for 10 minutes is incredible
Evo Moment 37 was on 2004 This was in 2024 They should make tournaments exclusively on years that end on 4 lol
Truly impressive. ruclips.net/video/XkwaV2c67ZU/видео.html
"What a useless attack!" "Who says im using it as an attack!"
Someone must have shouted, LETS GO FRANKIE! Before that finish.
Seeing this shit for the first time was crazy. Been a hayao fan since he washed justin
Such an incredible performance
I realized if take the least popular character and master him you become the top tier.
There is no hype like fighting game hype!
Hayao: "Raygun-sensei, did i do good?"
I barely know anything about Third Strike but watched this whole video anyway. That was great.
Im so happy to have watched this live. The crowd went insane
That dropkick is awesome, I use it all the time.
I have a feeling AMSa would become fast friends with this man...
I was at work and practically screaming at my desk watching this live.
nice
Watching Hayao reminded me why I play. For fun first. Its done wonders for my game.
Most Esports scenes have completely removed peoples personalities. They want players and casters to act like they are going to business meeting with the tournament sponsors and majority of the audience is like 8-25 years old, they just want fun. This is also why Esport is in a decline.
