i never watched any episodes with Vicki and Stephen, yet somehow Tales from the Tardis makes it feels like we've known them for all this time

I kind of wish for them to do this with Turlough (Mark Strickson) and the Frontios Hat Stand - but for two different episodes. Obviously Frontios, but also for Robot. I think the first time that specific hat stand appears is at the end of Planet of the Spiders/start of Robot. Does it make sense for Mark Strickson to be story telling about Robot? Of course not, but ...

That part about Ace being dropped off in London Ontario, reminded me when Sarah Jane Smith left at the end of "The Hand of Fear". She was supposed to be dropped off at Hillview Road, South Croydon, but ended up in the wrong place. I just checked on the internet, she was dropped off at Aberdeen instead according to the "School Reunion" episode.

If William Russell (Ian Chesterton) were still alive I would love to see a Tales from the Tardis with Ian and the First Doctor reminiscing on their adventures. They will need to recast the first doctor since obviously William Hartnell passed away but it would be kind of interesting to me.

Of all the companions who have left the group or died for one reason or another its funny to me how Adric's death in the Fifth Doctor's era is so influential to the doctor's life. The fourteenth and fifteenth doctor referenced him in a conversation with each other.

It would be great for Tom Baker to make appearance in this video. Clyde meeting him would be awesome.

Getting ready to watch the Myth Makers Vicki's final serial. Last time I watched that serial it was through a bad 3d animation of the plot as if it was made with Blender. Vicki was one of my favorite companions of the Hartnell era second only to Ian Chesterton. Pretty sure she was only in maybe 5 or 6 serials, she did not have a good relationship with the film staff and the director just wanted her out and her to be replaced. Hence Vicki leaving the show, and Katrina (and later Dodo) to replace her. Honestly I liked Stephen and Vicki as companions more than Ben and Polly at the end of the Hartnell era. Possibly a controversial take...

Ian, Jamie, Sarah Jane and Ace are the companions in my eyes for Classic Who. The others were a mixed bag ranging from awful to good. But these four nailed it.

I use to chat with 6th on ocassion when he is on the website Doctor Who One. Such fun that was. I even chatted with Paul McGann once on the same site. It was all too awesome. Unfortunately they no longer linger there, but it was fun while it lasted.

DUDE! I want to jump through this screen and hug him myself! I love all the Doctors cause (s)he is all ONE Doctor. I love them all! Those two-hearted souls!

I am about to move on to the next episode but these two are the only ones that don't know that it is a remembered Tardis, guess they have been out of the game too long.

Peter looks like Joe Biden

Peri's friends must've been worried sick when she was reported missing and that all hope of finding her were lost. Though Peri said to the Doctor that she got back to Earth in the 21st Century, she didn't say that she tried to find out what happened to her mother and stepfather.

2 would be so happy they have their memories back

Seeing Collin getting another chance to be the doctor, and written so respectfully, makes me happy that he gets to have better writers on his side this time around.

I'm forever thrilled that this reunion is canon.

"Sweet Sarah Jane." I love how the remember TARDIS lights up, the TARDIS loves all of the Doctors companions but the Doctor and the TARDIS will always have a soft spot for their girl.

They should have had a plate of food on the console, so Zoe [Wendy] could ape The Doctor's "Look Jamie, Sandwiches..!" line from The Invasion. [before her time, but it would have been hilarious]

I do hope Janet gave Peter a flea in his ear for being a chauvinistic old dinosaur regarding his comments over a Female Doctor..! Janet has worked very hard for the rights of women and their fair treatment in the TV and film industry. In any case, I adored Tegan - the character - once we got to know her. Davidson's Doctor was somewhat of a wet lettuce and she provided much determination and moral strength in the role. Tegan was immensely likeable, and did well to create a presence that wasn't just pandering to the Doctor's wittering and whims, as Nyssa tended to do. Tegan, frankly, paved the way for Ace... and would happily have kicked a Dalek in the 'orbs', had Eric Seward written it.

I'm so happy with this as it really shows Colin's and Nicola deep relationship and friendship......... Such warm people both as characters and in real life. 8-)

I think they're going to need some Nitro-9 that Ace hasn't made and doesn't have in her pocket just in case... Personally, I think Mel got short-shrift from Doctor Who, from the writing and the awful stereotyping that dogged Bonnie's career... I know she's back in New Who, but I'd like to have seen a TARDIS Tales episode of her recounting adventures she had with Sabalom Glitz [who is no longer with us], though I fully realize that doubling up on Doctors might have reduced the impact of this superb Sylvester and Sophie episode, and they were... "ace" together.

I always liked Vicki. She was so much more than just a replacement for Susan. I'm not sure that the writers fully understood or developed that - times were different, she was so young and strong male authority / hero figures were still the staple.

I think I had something in my eye... [sniff]. Wonderful little scene, and two very lovely people in real life.

I like the idea that Colin can now appear as he looks right now. He still sounds the same. He was brilliant in the Jodie Whittaker story the Power of the Doctor.
