A quick video showing the upgraded drop links I managed to pick up. When I first did the rear suspension build I was looking for some adjustable drop links, but never found the size I wanted, they were all too long. The idea resurfaced the other week and I did some research, outside the normal Mini suppliers, and found these. Whiteline KLC 140-215 Anyway this is a short video of the fitment.

Continuation of the R56 water leak. In the first episode we did some investigation and found the issue, then found another issue. So thermostat housing and now the cross pipe are to be resolved...will this fix it or will we find another leak somewhere!?

Quick video showing the replacement of the drivers door check strap

In this video we look for a water leak on the Prince N12 engine used by Mini in the early R56 models. This engine is similar to the N14, which was the turbo version. The Prince engine was built by Peugeot and is found in a number of cars. In this first episode we find the leak and buy the replacement part...then another one is found...so hold on for part 2.

Back again as we have uncovered how to change the light behind the digital read outs and I also bought some yellow lights. There was also the fix for the broken blue light (even though I found one that pinged across the room). While I had hoped this would be it, there is still more to do!! Note that this video series also applies to R50 and R52 models of the Mini.

In this video we move onto changing the lights in the speedo. This is the central speedo, not the smaller version on the steering column. In this we change the lights and look at removing the orange from the needles.
