Just the lovely piece of Family in this game is so powerful! I quite literally bawled my eyes out at this "first" game's ending! A work to Nintendo: Never EVER stop making games.

I love how relaxing the Gateway Galaxy theme is! Like you hear it, and you feel like a sense of mystery is upon you, like a feeling of "What's going on here?" Sure it also teaches you the controls of the game as well help you get acclimated to your surroundings, and find a way of how gravity works! So hearing additional lyrics of people's voices to this makes it 100 times better! Great job!

Seeing Tippi and Mario grow closer already is really nice! It really is crazy how Mario pushes on no matter the situation, he is the living epitome of happiness and glee! I'm just as amazed as Tippi. I love hearing the minor characters singing as well! Like the townsfolk in Flipside, or the townsfolk here in Yold Town! The audio mixing is really well down and is crazy high quality, this musical deserves so many more views! Speaking of minor characters, I love Thoreau's accent! I'm really glad that it seems that the pixls are all going to get their time to shine, first Boomer and now Thoreau! Really giving them more love then the game did sadly, that's for sure. Also, seeing Tippi and Thoreau interact was pretty cool! I love how it went into the somewhat convoluted lore of the pixls as well. Finally caught up for the time being, everyone that has been working on this musical has done a great job so far! The singers, editors, artists, audio mixers, everyone is so very talented, and it genuinely makes me so happy seeing this game get the love it deserves!

Let the wedding belles chime! I thought the entire wedding section of the game would be hard to turn into a proper musical, especially with how wild and all over the place it is with its events and music, and especially with how it was told before any other part of the story, but you all made it work perfectly! This fits perfectly in the timeline of the musical, and makes it simple to understand, which I appreciate! I love Bowser's section, poor guy had no idea that he was being played... Same goes for Peach, even if she didn't fall for Bleck's trick, there wasn't much she could do... I love how both of their lyrics reflect what they said in the actual game, with Bowser blindly following Bleck's plan, and Peach being extremely antagonistic to everyone involved! I think Bleck once again shined the brightest here though, his lyrics and tone of voice are both charming and shady, especially at 1:21. To be entirely honest, he would even have me fooled with that tone of voice, he just seems like a nice trustworthy guy with.. strange motives to say the least. Once the chaos heart has been released though, that's when he breaks his friendly demeanor and goes all out. I never thought that it would be possible to make this depressed character seem so cool, but every time he sings about the chaos heart and the void, it's genuinely breathtaking. Throwback is seriously the perfect person to voice Count Bleck! I feel like a broken record, but Nastasia also sounds great! Moonjo really helps give off that "conniving intern" vibe that perfectly suits Nastasia. I can't wait to hear more from her! THE ART AT 2:28 GOES SO HARD!! There's so much jam packed into this on picture and I love it! There's the obvious with Bleck going all out singing about the chaos heart, and the chaos heart itself giving off a purple glow just like the void! With the silhouette of a black heart emanating from it, but there's plenty of small details as well. You can see Peach in the bottom right hand corner passed out, still somewhat under the influence of Nastasia's hypnosis. There's Bowser on the bottom left who seems extremely concerned about what's going on, and probably also what Nastasia did to Peach, which goes to show that he had no idea why Bleck arranged the wedding. Finally, there's Nastasia who, despite helping arrange the plan knowing it would summon the chaos heart, still seems worried knowing it will bring the downfall of everything. This shows that she loves the Count, and will help him with his plan despite feeling it's unneccassary. There's more I could say about the other artwork at 4:14, but this is getting pretty long so I'll leave it here. Also, good on Luigi saving the day! He really didn't need his bro! Still love his voice so much, it suits him so well! Sad knowing we probably won't hear from him in a while though... On a COMPLETELY unrelated note however, can't wait until we hear from Mr. L! I can already tell his theme and both Brobot themes are going to be great!

The art for this video is extremely good! Merlon looks so cool at 0:10! I like how true to the original game the background is as well, with the pillars and the hearts off to the side. It also gives off the surreal feeling that Flipside has, bright and somewhat empty, while still very detailed! The art at 1:25 gives off the more homely feel Flipside has, while still showing off the surrealness I mentioned earlier. I also love how you can still see the void looming in the distance, and all the citizens of Flipside seem somewhat worried about it. It gives off the feeling of an ever-looming threat perfectly! Merlon is one of my favorite characters in the game, so I'm glad to see he got plenty of lines in this song! His lyrics were also really good in my opinion. Good job on writing lyrics that both sound good and tell you all the backstory you would need to know about the pure hearts and the void! I really liked the section where all the Flipside residents were singing together about Flipside, and also the section where all the shopkeepers are offering Mario their services, it truly did just feel like people living their everyday lives, which makes the ever-looming void in the distance ever more melancholy. I wonder how Flopside is doing?

I really respect how the games humor is preserved in this musical, and this song is a great example of that! Luigi insulting Bowser's castle, the front door being left unlocked being a somewhat major part of the song that's brought up multiple times, and Bowser realizing Count Bleck is talking about marrying him to Peach genuinely made me laugh XD. Honestly, I thought these smaller songs were going to be quite awkward to fit in the musical, due to how unimportant they can seem to the story, but mixing Bowser's Castle and Count Blecks theme really gave life to this song, making it the one I've listened to the most out of all of them so far, I can't stop coming back to it! I really like the part where Bowser and Luigi are bickering back and forth until Count Bleck's reveal happens, and man, Bleck's voice actor (like every other voice actor) is a perfect fit. Next to Bestovius, he is my favorite voice so far! 1:53 is sang super well, and is a really good point where Throwback does a very good job at making Count Bleck sound menacing, while charming at the same time! So far, my favorite line in the entire musical that I keep coming back to is 2:32. IT'S JUST SO GRAND AND AMAZING AND EPIC AND GRAND!!! Genuinely such a banger, I could never put it into words properly!! Also, the way Throwback says "Bleck" is really well done, I always have a hard time imagining how it's said when the Count is laughing, I never thought about saying it in a somewhat disgusted way like that, which makes perfect sense for the games story, but I won't get into that. Like Peach's and Luigi's (and Mario's) voices, the voice for Bowser is amazing! Emcee, Meowy, BowserJr, and Mr.GameTeen are the perfect people to voice our 4 heros! I can't wait to hear more songs sang by them! I especially love the editing done in this video, while not as prevalent as other videos, there are parts that really shine through, like 1:52 that, while simple, really gives that finishing touch to the video that I like. The audio mixing is also very well done, when Bleck and Bowser and singing at the same time, it isn't hard on the ears, which is a very big plus! One last thing, the animation at 1:32 is really cool! Those small little bits of animation helps differentiate this musical from other musicals I've seen. In the end 10/10 good job to everyone involved! You all are more talented then I could ever wish to be!

I know its a little early to be calling favorites, but this is one of my favorites from the musical so far! I realized I've never fully appreciated Gloam Valley before, I love how cheerful and peppy it is! Like Lineland Road, this was an extremely good intro song to a new chapter! I've never really thought about how these tracks could work for a musical, but having our hero's sing throughout it is genius! I realize it seems obvious now, but I never fully thought it out lol. I really love the lyrics for this song! I especially like how descriptive 0:07 1:37 and 2:00 are! It amazes me how well you can mix lyrics for 4 vastly different characters like Peach, Tippi, Thoureau, and Boomer! I also love how Peach's backstory at Bleck's castle was incorporated into the song, even if you never played the game you could still follow along somewhat if you wanted to! The voice actors did a phenomenal job this time around! Peach's voice is honestly perfect, and reminds me of another voice actor I really like. I was going to put timestamps for some of my favorite parts of hers, but I realized that would be like half the video lmao. I will say my favorite part is 0:48, so much emphasis is put into that "and start to fly", its crazy. 0:41 BOOMER Also, so much more love is being given to the Pixls in this musical then was given in the actual game! In the game, after obtaining a Pixl, you would never hear them talk again, but we are still getting lines from Thoureau this chapter which I love! I know later on it'll be extremely hard to keep up with them all considering there will be around 9 of them, but still, I appreciate the fact you didn't forget about them! It would be really cool if we got a song that's mainly just all the pixls singing sometime in the future. The art is still phenomenal as well. 0:52 is VERY good, I love how flawlessly Pianokantz was able to transform the 2D game into 3D artwork, it's extremely cinematic, and genuinely the best fanart I've ever seen for this game!

I'm a little late, but I feel that this is a really good start for the series! I really love the characters voices, and I feel that they genuinely fit the roles they played. I ESPECIALLY loved Luigi's voice, Mr.GameTeen did a fantastic job singing, and I can't wait for him to sing Mr. L's songs later on! The lyrics are honestly really creative, whoever wrote them did a great job with how limited inspiration must have been from the relatively short intro to the game. (I've never played the games before Super Paper Mario, but I love the flashback scenes) And I'll say this again, I love the editing done on this video! It really grabs your attention, and is a lot more entertaining then if it was just the opening cutscene to the game. Good lyrics, vocals, artwork, editing, it amazes me how high quality this musical is, makes me salty it doesn't have more views yet lmao.

Isn’t it called Mount Lineland?

Once again, a great song! Focusing on the Yold Town section rather than all of Mount Lineland is a great choice since nothing really happens in the actual Mount Lineland and makes the song feel a lot more focused and like a moment in a story compared to a few puzzles in a game. The ensemble bits in the first loop of the song are great, both the solo lines and the chorus moment where they start to realize that Mario could be the hero of the prophecy. Watchitt as well is absolutely ferocious thanks to Phoenix's performance. I could call it a rap but it's more like rhythmic talking, which works well for that cranky old man. Tippi writing is once again wonderful, her heart really shows here like in the other songs she's been in so far. Like in Lineland Road, she has such a cute admiration for Mario's silent heroism and their shared curiosity when in the Thoreau puzzle room is great to see. Also, the inclusion of short dialogue sections are fantastic in building the Pixl's characters. Thoreau is easily my favorite part of this song here. He has a western dandy aura that, while not aligning with my previous headcannons, is an interpretation I am fully down for. The "handy in a pinch" line is pretty clever in that he can help them out if they're in trouble, as well as the fact that he's a hand. He and Tippi's banter in this song is incredibly cute. Their conversation about Tippi's age is incredibly charming to me; they speak like young lovers in a way that is a bit hard to explain, but I was once in a relationship and it kinda felt like what they have going on. Blupani will always be the OTP but the relationship between these two is so cute that I can't ignore it. This even plays into the ending which I can see as Thoreau and Tippi being so happy together and so set on getting the Pure Heart that their guards are let down, and the performances really sell that feeling, especially Thoreau. "We won't have any interruptions here" Tippi says while entering a door with a conveniently placed save block. Now to patiently wait for the payoff... TLDR, Thoreau makes this song really really cute and I love it like pretty much every other song so far.

I love this video! This one is super fun to listen to, and it sounds like the VAs had a lot of fun too! Now, I wonder what the next song could be... 🤔🤔🤔 0:10 I love the whole vibe of this video with sort of a Wild West theme, and this artwork captures that perfectly! 0:13 I think it's interesting that Red (and Green for that matter) don't really play a big part in this video, with Red being just a bystander and Green barely having any lines. It probably would have made it too complicated if you had the NPCs, Watchitt, Thoreau, AND Red and Green all having their own sub-stories in the video, so I understand why you did that. 0:40 "GET OFF MY RUG!!" Yesss, I called it! Also, Watchitt's VA did great, that's exactly how I've always imagined his voice. 0:48 - 1:06 This part is so fun to listen to, I bet Coryncidince also had fun singing it! 1:50 Thoreau's VA sounds great here, and I love Thoreau and Tippi's conversations in this video! 2:13 I can't help but laugh whenever I hear this part, it's so good 2:54 As soon as I saw this door, I knew what was coming... 3:02 Whether intentional or not, I love that "oh dear" also rhymes with Tippi's previous line
