Need to get tested, and im scared that i might not have anything, scared thst i just happen to be like this, i feel so dumb and stupid, i really . . . Need to know, i just need to figure how and when I used to have a therapist, i told her about me and she told me thst i should try to get tested just in case of anything (not adhd, she wasnt specific), i think she thinks i got adhd, or not, or maybe she wants me to take away the guilt thst i got, i dunno, ill see if i can figure something out

I got diagnosed with ADHD years ago. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my husband which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with ADHD. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Germany. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them.

Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. This mental health treatment works for me too. Half micro doses do the trick for me. At least a few days at a time with lengthy time in between. Thank you for sharing this point!

What's tough is when somebody has a history of substance abuse disorders such as opiates, they have been suffering from ADHD for so long and they did end up self-medicating because they were refused treatment or just not given the proper medications, but of course after they get clean and do good in terms of the recovery process, when it comes to getting to the root cause they all think it's just trauma-related or this or that, when realistically a lot of the times it's because undiagnosed ADHD leads to extreme impulsivity issues and it sucks because now people even in recovery cannot get the proper medications. And I understand coming from an addiction side, but if given under the supervision of a doctor, at least the one that actually listens to you, they can be unbiased and actually treat you the right way I mean they give Suboxone out to opiate addicts in recovery, somebody that was abusing cocaine would have a harder time getting a prescription for Adderall even though they don't see the other side of it as if the abuser was taking the cocaine because they were self-treat in their ADHD when there's healthier ways to go about it, but they are usually always denied and put as a risk for abuse I feel like it's a double-edged sword because they are refused medication even benzodiazepines some people do need them and they used to always prescribe clonazepam with buprenorphine, and now it's all about the entire respiratory distress issue and I get that but that's usually only happening if somebody doesn't have a tolerance to opioids and benzodiazepines and takes a high dose of both, that's the real risk factor it's not a low dose of each causing respiratory depression that is not the case and studies show that everywhere, it's so hard nowadays to get treated for anything properly because of people abusing medications improperly, lying to doctors, Etc

I've never had an issue with organization or time management, but 100% can't focus not even since I was a kid. 100% hyperactive, 100% have issues making and keeping friends do to not being able to give them my full attention like I want to. I have always had a quick temper and get easily frustrated and struggled academically. I am always tired in the middle of the day and would take a nap if I had a schedule that allowed it. If I sit down and have to listen to a lecture or something, I start yawning, eyes watering, leg bouncing up and down, twirling in my seat, playing on my phone or laptop, thousand yard forced stare to look like I'm paying attention when I'm not even though I just tried to sooo hard sooo many times. So, I am wondering if it is normal to have ADHD but not have time management or organization issues, and if others with ADHD also are tired by the time the afternoon hits and want to take naps?? In all the other areas above, these issues are so significant they have negatively impacted my entire life including me not living up to my full potential, constantly quitting things I've started (hobbies, jobs, etc), my low self esteem and never feeling like i'm good enough for anyone thanks to constant rejection, etc.

I was told I don't have ADHD or ADD so many times now my head spins. Guess what they never tested me to see if I have it! And I'm 53 now, it's insane all the other disorders I've been told I do have, and I'm pretty sure, I'm about to find out that I really do have Attention Deficit Disorder, Or Inattentive Attention Deficit Disorder after I finish this questionnaire. There is a questionnaire that my other filled out when I was 13, that the psychologist that I'm seeing just gave me so that I can have my mom, fill it out, only one problem, she is 78 now so I'm going to have my friend of 35 years answer the questions. We have lived together a couple of times. But we do not now. I hope that this doctor can finally give me a clear answer. He has mentioned PTSD too. So maybe I've had PTSD since I was 12 and attention deficit disorder?

Thanks my man - hits home in a real, good , clear way 👍 Even having been an “inpatient “ at McClean’s in Boston , the DSM -5 placed me in the ‘borderline’ diagnosis but AADHD , or lifetime ADHD seems more appropriate for what I experience - the intensity of “feelings” , emotions etc - . Despite what I feel , one is still the director of one’s own movie and responsible for your own reactivity and response to what wells up inside you . ✌️

I currently live in an unsafe environment because the family members who live with me fault me for my symptoms of ADHD and ignore the daily stress I experience because of it. They pile extra stress on me by placing the same expectations that everyone else is given (even though they are neurotypical). I FINALLY successfully remembered to make a doctors appointment after an entire year of delay☠️ It is this Friday and they will hopefully schedule me for ADHD screening 👍🏼 Tired of everyone calling me lazy and refusing to do any research about what I am struggling with🙃

I have not been evaluated but I have been told multiple times by my teacher is when I was in school that I should get evaluated and even gave me a paper to fill out a little self questionnaire just to see if I should go get evaluated for ADHD. Let's just say I swear I put that piece of paper in my backpack but it never made it home and I never completed it 😆 also try to remind myself multiple times throughout the day to remember where I put things and when the following day comes up and I need to find certain things. I have no idea where they're at or I swear I put it in one spot but it's in another. I also have a hard time being on time for anything going to sleep on time and also waking up on time. But there are days when I can go throughout the day without having any struggles. But those are far and few in between. Maybe I should go see a psychologist or maybe I will keep telling myself. I will go see if psychologist and never do it. We'll see

9/22/23 - I was previously diagnosed with adhd combined presentation when I was 18 via a 4hr eval. The results were sent to my psychiatrist at the time. I went to the psychiatrist and they lied to me and said I didn't have it. I requested the medical records from the eval place a few months ago and I saw that it does say I have it. I set up another eval now that I am 22. I still struggle daily with my symptoms, and I want to try medication, but after my bad experience, I feel like no one will believe me. I had another 4hr eval today and I get my results next week. I am nervous. I hope I am taken seriously.

I didn’t go in looking for an adhd diagnosis. I was diagnosed with depression as an 8 year old and experienced that my whole life. I was diagnosed bipolar 2 in my 20s. I was experiencing such bad executive dysfunction that was affecting me so bad. I didn’t even know to call it that. So at 29, I went to a psychologist just to talk and get therapy. She redisgnosed me as adhd. For some reason I feel more embarrassed to admit to the adhd than the bipolar. Adderall has changed my life and my ability to be productive, on track and to finish tasks. I’m grateful I was rediagnosed!

Once I began taking Vyvanse for my inattentive ADHD it felt like I finally was experiencing the real world, and I saw the beauty in everything. Before having my medication I would: CONSTANTLY forget things within the span of a minute, lose my train of thought, have a lack of drive to do things that I know I would enjoy, quickly lose interest in the things that I enjoy...and it made me strongly feel as if I was 1) a sociopath and 2) a complete moron... Initially when I started taking my medication it quickly began working, even at the first dose. Feeling and processing everything correctly and actually getting all of that mental feedback was overwhelming in a positive sense...I finally felt ALIVE. Can not express how truly grateful I am to live in a time where I dont have to suffer the curse of having a crippling mental disorder such as ADHD...and even writing this I'm nearly shedding tears.
