Cold Fusion
Did Cold Fusion on a day when the valley was going to hit 75 degrees. We started at the bottom of Bear Canyon and were on snow almost the whole way. The approach/exit was very long and we spent most of the day on our skins. We skinned a good portion of Cold Fusion before transitioning to boots/crampons. The top was firm which made it a bit sketchy with the exposure. The top of the line was more chalky and it got better and better lower we got. Overall a really fun day, great weather, and good times with friends. Really stoked to do this line since I've been able to see it from the valley since I was a kid.

Skyline Drive on Gravel Bikes

This is what 80 miles on the Wasatch Plateau (Skyline Drive) looks like! Most of the route is over 10k feet with the high point being just under 11k. We received support from Blake's parents and Meg and her parents. We're super grateful for the support because it made the ride so much more fun. Such a fun day with Blake. I have a feeling we'll be doing this one again in the future.

Angel Point Canyons - North Wash, Utah

We did the Angel Cove Slot North Fork and the Angel Slot Canyons in the North Wash this year! They were a lot of fun. Nothing too crazy but both of them featured some fun downclimbs, deadman's anchors, natural anchors, and one meat anchor/partner assist. We did the two of them back to back. Climbing and skiing Mt. Shasta, California

Drove up to Northern California to give Shasta a go! They had just received a few feet of snow which ended up filling in the route. We woke up at the trailhead at 3:30am and got a move on. Barrel - St George

First time riding Barrel in St George! This trail was a lot of fun. I didn't care for the double track ride to the top but the downhill was full of fun and features. I didn't hit the two biggest jumps because it was my first time on the trail and none of us had ridden it before but they definitely look manageable and I think I'll be back to hit them another time!
Backcountry Skiing in the Tetons 2022

We aimed to summit Disappointment Peak and ski the Spoon but when we got up to Amphitheater Lake it was really windy and we could see the Couloir getting wind loaded. We opted for a couple laps on a beautiful blank canvas above the lake. We then skied Delta chute down to Delta Lake and started the long traverse back over to Bradley Lake. All in all it was a beautiful day and a whole lot of fun.

These guys have very nearly overtaken queens of the Stone Age as my favorite by band. for being relatively young they are Legitimately the most prolific rock band in the world in the world. Very few if any bands have the level of quality to quantity that these guys have. 24 official releases and nothing but absolute bangers in my opinion. I think In 10 years time these guys could have a near Grateful Dead-esque level of a following.
