Skiing Nephi, Utah

Decided to go check out some red cliff lines in Nephi that you can see from I-15. Ended up with quite the adventure. The snow was totally faceted which made the travel up to the couloir extremely tricky. The route finding was pretty straight forward though which was nice. The couloir didn't have as much coverage as we wanted so we didn't go up it all the way. The backdrop while dropping was amazing though. We had sections of really good turns and ended up doing a rappel so we didn't have to wallow in facets again. the exit down the gully was super interesting with little rock drops and technical skiing. This would be a super fun line to hit in better snow conditions.
