Day out with the lads, not a huge amount of Vauxhalls unfortunately A lot of DSG farts and pop and bang maps... disappointing :(

A lot of people have had this issue and usually suspect the ECM to be the main issue Check this area connector first! This fix solved my problem and has not reoccurred since. This can happen on both Corsa C and Tigra B models … especially after leaks from the bulkhead/pedal area or door speakers

My only question to the guys in the know , do they live long after such conversions? I'm hesitating between an option of keeping it 1.2 as it is and just work on looks and having it done and have fun and take a risk of loosing it to a blown engine/turbo and all other problems that can arise . I'm not money packed person , i won't be able to afford another project , of anyone cam advice me on that i'd greatly appreciate 🤔
The last if done properly, correct hubs quality parts proper wiring etc
Hi AL Just found your channel. Thanks for the Vid. These Klasen manifolds seem to be a bit thin on the ground these days. Any idea where they could be sourced from? And if I may, the custom metal coolant reservoir you have, located behind the battery, is this something of your design and making? Or did you procure this?
Courtenay sport sell the manifolds, and the coolant tank was bought from forge motorsport
Then you remove the cams and install it back, how do you align the marks¿ You set the torque and rotate with no belt to align with cover¿ 6:15 The new lifters push cams to other position. Thanks for help
Yes align marks on the cam cover, u can use a tool for this to hold them
@@ALs_Autos I ask this because after putting the camshafts back in place, both camshafts are pushing and not letting me align them with the top cover to insert the locking tool between the camshafts. Thanks!
@AntiPalmeritas yes u need to use a 50 torx in the middle to move them both into position at the same time. Little fiddly
@@ALs_Autos Now I understand why this step is not shown in any video. You need to be an octopus to move both camshafts in order to insert the lock. Thank you very much for your quick help. On Monday I will receive the new camshaft bolts. Here in Spain they are still available with the reference GM90466737 and they cost around 15€ each.
Hi mate, that is the torque for camshaft pulley? You need to use new bolts?
50nm +60 +15 degrees. New bolts are no longer available from gm mate

Did the klasen change the tone at all do you think? Ko6 will have effected it slightly too I imagine. I'm wanting to go for a ko4 hybrid with the klasen
Yea it did a bit mate more noise when wastegate was open
I've changed my lifters with INA ones two days ago. But when I start the engine after it's cold the tapping noise is still there maybe for a minute or two. Are they suppoused to quiet down after some time? Thanks
Give it some Time, failing that check oil pressure with a gauge 👍
Is it better to install both cams from nevlock ? HAs someone try it with Highflow inlet from Pegasus? i plan to install that to on my setup
I would install from a reputable maker, cat or piper. Nevlock ones are known to wear heavily and damage lifters and cam caps

can to take a one full video i mean not separated ones about explaining how do you swapped like steps you did and so on.. i have 1.2 z12xe and i m thinking swapping 1.8 or 2.0 and i have no idea how.
I do have a z20 corsa conversion still to do, geegeecorsa on Facebook is the man for the conversions. Don't bother with a 1.8 defo do the 2.0turbo and z20 will fit

I feel your pain about putting the exhaust back on by yourself. I support the exhaust with a trolley jack, that made it a bit easier. And the electric ratchet was also essential to do up the v band before the exhaust slips out of position. Are you running a 3" exhaust? With or without catalytic converter?

What plugs did you use bud
Standard pfr6tg mate, no misfire issues even at this boost and power level I plan to change them every 5k

@chrissingleton8473 I have not mate 394 on dyno quite hot, open road with proper Airflow 410..some real life figures

Have you had problems with the standard gearbox? Do you use a standard box?
Alright John it has a gen2 m32, it has bigger bearings and oil fed endcase. I also fitted a blackline LSD done the box at 73k it's not on 87 with no issues at all

Evo turbo has bigger turbine wheel mate, manifold is from klasen and needs machined to suit the larger wheel

@chrissingleton8473 aye mate I ran a 14.3 before, got an extra 70hp lsd and slicks and run a 14.1 pretty shit, brother was the same ran a 13.9 last time and best this time was 14.5

@@ALs_Autos it still on for 3.5 map at minute did 306hp 319lbft on eds manifold I've since done all bottom end new rings fcp rods so it due to go for remap just got the 90mm maf housing need some 630 injectors an should be good to go 340 fuel pump already in running std clutch so don't know if that will hold up fingers 🤞 il will say this klassen inlet transformed it over eds manifold I'd say you don't need cams wi this manifold pulls all way threw

One thing you have to realise is there were cars on the road at the time. That’s why I couldn’t necessarily go big time hence the gear changes. I did at one point hit 110… on the same road but this was edited out of the video for obvious reasons 😂.. it did a 14.5 at Crail so not too bad 👍
