Once we get back from the feed store, we need to tend to our little heifer. Poor baby is got the runs! Good thing we hav...

    He did a nice job with your video, good instruction too, but next time you talk about your post when you want them to be straight up and down vertical it's called plumb, level would be if you were putting it across horizontal position. Of course, most people probably don't know the difference. You did a great job though.

    Chickens prefer to roost high. Thats why they only use the top bar. Raise all your bars and maybe they'll pick a different one.

  • @teresashinkansen9402
    @teresashinkansen9402 7 месяцев назад

    Dude you really need horsemanship lessons, Having an equine is serious business even if its a small pony or a mini horse. Before you ever get again an equine please take horsemanship lessons from a respectable trainer. Else the animals get mistreated and can be injured just as you can get seriously injured or even killed.

  • @teresashinkansen9402
    @teresashinkansen9402 7 месяцев назад

    The warning here is not about that mule, it was you who caused such thing to happen. Being rough and abusive with the mule does not bring anything good. Go get some actual horsemanship lessons from a modern trainer with experience with donkeys. That cowboy style only creates traumatized and dangerous animals.

    2:40 chicken are a lot smarter than us stupid human think they are. Chickens huddle together to keep warm. Their internal temp is around 95’ or higher.

    That's great job. At 13:35, you can change the position of hinges and fix them either outside or at the edge of the door. That way the door can swing fully and last longer, not inside.

    How much land does a zebu need to graze without supplemental feed (not during winter)?

    • @The-Host
      @The-Host 8 месяцев назад

      It always depends on how much grows in your area. But here in oklahoma with decent greenery and mild short winters I have had luck with rotating 2 zebus and a lowline aberdeen (bigger than a Zebu but still on the miniature side) between 3 one acre pastures. Every Saturday move em to next pasture to give the first 2 pastures a couple weeks of regeneration. 1/2 acre per head on GOOD lush growing pasture seems to be accurate. I'd plan for 1-2 acre per head to be safe til you see how your land reacts.

    I had a 500’ fence built. The guys used no strings or levels. It blows my mind that they got it all straight and level to the (eye at least). Pros! Ps. I’m doing all the rest of my own fencing and I have a hillside home. It’s tough! I use a 16’ board to set my bottom boards on to follow the land. Good job!
