People who like Red Delicious apples like them for their own reasons, and it is unpleasant to hear you being so generous in yucking on people's tastes. Also, you'd be less graphic in your disliking on apples calling them "waxy" if you ate apples from the trees rather than stores that literally have wax applied on them for transportation and longer storage purposes.

That's nothing. Back in the '80s, a friend of mine went with his GF on a company retreat for a job she had just started. They stayed in a house on a golf course with 2 other couples. So far, so good. That night, the group got drunk. Nothing shocking there. But, in the middle of the night my friend went to the bathroom and then crawled back in bed with his GF, or so he thought. He went into the wrong bedroom, crawled in bed with a guy and his wife, and nobody noticed until the morning. Everyone took it in stride. No big deal. The problem is, we weren't so uptight back then.

Tf I use to clean houses like minimum 2k sqft homes and I have a kid. It’s the job, you clean anything when it’s a deep clean service. I’d love to have her work a day that I got. I once had to deep clean a home that had multiple DEAD animals and something that glowed

If the cleaner doesn’t want to clean up after kids, then she needs to be selective on who she contracts with. Don’t contact with someone who has kids, you will be cleaning up after them, that’s part of the job.

If a cleaner wouldn’t clean the sink and the bath then I’d be confused why they are there. Those are exactly the jobs that need doing every week and are the bare minimum.

It depends on the contract. If she was asked to come in and clean up specific areas or things. I.e. vacuum, dust, mop, do dishes and take out the trash then the cleaner is right. Its not her job. She agreed to do X amount of work for Y amount of money. If she is hired to do a deep clean of every room except the kids room, then i would say she is wrong as even though the kids room is not on the list, the kids still live there. Ergo, she cleans up after children.

Depends on the price. If you are only paying for someone to do 1 thing then you shouldnt expect them to do more. My grandparents have a lady that comes in that will only vacuum and wipe surfaces but she is quick and cheap and that is what they want. (And need because of the house and mobility) It is about finding the right fit.

I would definitely fire her. Yes, the high chair is generally out of her job description, but the toothpaste in the sink and the rings in the tub? Those are normal and a normal part of any cleaning service.

If my wife did that to me, she would not be my wife much longer. Enough with the excuses. There is no excuse for treating your mate with disdain.

She apologized and communicated. In the moment she might have come off as an asshole, but later on she told her feelings If i was the man in the situation, its one i feel like we can learn from and move on. I have grown to expect that (especially in public) im not always going to get what i desire but at the end of the day my wife loves me and shes willing to apologize and understand my feelings. Im sure there are times i unintentionally make her feel that way too but we talk and i apologize and move on to hopefully be better.

YTA you guys AND the girl in the story. As an advid headphone user I can still hear stuff played from loud speakers, it just means I get a headache as my brain tries to listen to both. If you are in a public space that is shared with others you shouldn't play anything outloud that might disturb others. It's so rude and annoying, not everyone wants to listen to what you do.
