I do hope that with season 2 confirmed, that Simon finds new love. But I also had a dark thought... We know how buggy the crown was with granting wishes and how even well intended wishes can have some unintended issues with them. Betty wished for the power to keep simon safe... But that might also mean safe from death too.. Meaning he could end up living forever, aging yes. But never dying. He could be alive as a skeleton into the future of Ooo, as a skeletal scholar.
