Newfoundland...900 plus km in 6 days. scenic and rugged. 6 SxS with 12 people. fantastic views.
@KINGS COUNTY ADVENTURES A bunch of us from the Sussex Valley ATV club got together and planed this trip to Newfoundland for July 2023. Mark did most of the leg work if not all of it. Everyone on the trip made a contribution to this video. We had a great time and had no issues wit any of the machines. Trails were very nice and the scenery was incredible. Motels and food were as good as anywhere and most of the towns and roads were welcoming to ATV traffic. All the folks we bumped into in Newfoundland we extremely friendly, (no surprise there).
The parking in North Sydney, Cape Breton was very adequate, and the ferry to Port aux Basque and back was pleasurable.

A bunch of us (12 with 6 SxS) are off to Newfoundland this summer for a 6 day overland adventure. Ensuring we take along everything we need is a long list of must haves. One is of course a spare tire. Please watch as I designed and built a rack for my Teryx 2.

Hey folks, I haven't been out much this past winter, but I did want to try out the new studded tires a bought recently. Last winter while running the Honda without studs and this year on the Teryx, I can see what the difference is. Please watch this short video on my opinion on Winter studded tires. Thankyou. On a recent run deep into Albert County, NB, @Kings County Adventures, we got ourselves into more mud and water that we usually do. There were a couple of areas that I was really afraid we'd get stuck, but we just pushed our machines ...

Good to have you back. One question, does the box still dump?thanks

Thanks for watching and for the great question. One thing that was most important was the box being able to tip. Yes, it has about a half inch clearance and the box is balanced enough to stay up. Thanks 0

Thanks for the great comment. Yes. One of the key points of designing this upgrade was to insure the box still dumped. It works great. Thanks you.

Six days and you never showed one mealtime or evening party time. Not like the Newfies

Thanks for watching. As I was editing my footage thats one thing I also realized. With very long days, cleaning and maintenance, dealing with dirty clothing, I think I just needed a few minutes away from the camera. This was my first multi day run and I've learned a lot about time management on the trails. I can assure you we did have very enjoyable evenings. Thanks.

No. We didn't give it a thought, dispite all the planing going into the trip. I think our best opporyunity would have been at The Pirates Cove Lodge. What an atmosphere.

Great video guys! I heard 1 guy in your group calling your UTV'S "Bikes" for some reason. Those are in no way, shape or form bikes.... tell him to catch up with the rest of us normal folk that call them atv's or SxS's would ya

Wow, what an amazing adventure with some very impressive scenery. The hill climb and descent was a bit sketchy, along with the water crossing, but everyone did great and took their time. Looks like everyone had a blast. I could get use to those views. Thanks for sharing, fun to watch! Cheers!

Hey, Thanks for watching man. Yes the scenery was very impressive. We were warned about the river and a path suggested from people we met along the way. That was fun. The rocks were challenging, no problem with the grip, but lacked a bit on bottom clearance. If you haven't already, please consider subscribing. Thanks.

Hey, Thanks for watching. Well that's touching, here's to Pops! "Wholesome" is a new description for me, but I think you're right. Good luck with the surgery, I've had both hips replaced.

I’ve lived in Sussex my whole life. Levi did some metal work for me a few months back and he was talking about going on this trip. I did this trip back in 2007 but on ATVs and it rained 90% of the time but still memorable. I will be purchasing a Can-Am X3 this year. It will be my first side-by-side after 25 years on an ATV. I hope to get back over to do this trip again, but in more comfort lol. Thanks for posting your adventure

Thanks for watching. Both the Teryx's and the two Yamahas did very well. Only one rider without lots of experience shied away from the last hill. When we got home I did edit this video, just before I was about to publish it, it dissapeared from the software. I wasn't a happy camper and it took months with some pressure to get back at it. Glad you liked it Thanks

Thanks for watching. All the Sussex trails including this one are 3 seasons trails. The ATV season runs from 15 April till 15 December, due to the lease agreements with land owners and provincial regulations. So in short its closed in January. Please consider subscribing if you haven't already. Thanks
