Really enjoyed your ride! The colours were fantastic. I think fall is the best time to be on the trails. All of the volunteer's deserve a huge thank you for keeping the trails in good shape. Cheers BB
I played in that area almost 50 years ago with a CJ5 jeep. i would come down the old shepody rd. and go down Goose rd. (I think) to get to Martin Head and the island where we would set camp up. I was down that way about 10 yrs ago everything is changed for me I couldn't find any of the old roads. Shepody Road went straight across the 114 as we used to fill the jeeps and jerry cans at Elgin. Love your videos brings back good memoirs.❤❤
Thanks for watching. Wow, you're kidding, A went to Martin Head yeah about 50 years ago with a buddy in a Toyota Land Cruiser. We left from St.Martins and crossed the Salmon River at the Walking Bridge. Memories for sure. I'm so glad you are enjoying my videos. Please subscribe if you haven't already. Cheers.
@@KINGSCOUNTYADVENTURES Yes I remember the swinging bridge and the water crossing and the camping area about 500 feet from the bridge on the St. Martin side. Also there was a DND cabin about 100 feet we get to the bridge on the right. People did alot of salmon fishing there. We would drive from Moncton to Saint John all back roads and trails. A lot of break down and such but we had fun. Keep it coming love reading about.
I was born and raised in Sussex. Growing up I spend many, many weekends at Martin Head and surrounding area. My father owned a towing company and a body shop in Sussex as well.
Hey Bobby, Thanks for watching. yes it was bad timing on my part. I had just finished editing the footage when I saw the post from your club and noted the great work the volunteers did on the bridge. Bravo. Thanks for commenting
Right on! Great video displaying beautiful fall foliage in our area. I have yet to do the run to St.Martins on my Grizzly. Looks like a blast, I was following your routes on the apps, good directions. Thanks for sharing, cheers and keep well!
Hey, I'm out there having fun! When I know where I am, I can usually tell those watching, the trail or road information. Please subscribe if you haven't already. Cheers!
First time watching your video, thanks for sharing, wonderful job. I 'go-pro' all my rides that I take but don't/can't do the great play by play that you do. A group of us just did the west coast of NL just prior to Fiona hitting the east coast, hopefully we will be back soon. Please keep up the great work.
Thanks so much Mike. Thats really inspirating me to continue. Yeah I know a few guys who've done the NL run. Hey Mike, Please subscribe if you haven't already. Cheers
Awesome scenery !!, there's nothing like the fall colors. Lunch looked yummy, :), you can never go wrong with fish & chips. Some of the bridges looked a bit sketchy for sure. Great Video!! :) do you sell your stickers? i would love to buy a couple.
Hey Mario, Thanks again for watching. Yes, A few days after the video was edited, I found the bridge was repaired. I did acknowledge the repairs by the Saint John Club volunteers in the comment section on the video. I looks good.
