There will definitely be new content, it just won't come in one big dump in June. You mentioned Darien--I think he's one of the NPCs we'll be seeing more of, though that is a guess, not based on inside information. But the Ithelia story concerns the Magna Ge, so I'm expecting Meridia & Darien to show up in '25 or '26. The letter doesn't specifically mention the Companion quests, but "expanding on current stories" covers them as well, and I believe both Zerith and Tan have hooks in their stories included to set up additional plots. YMMV, of course, and I get the frustration, but I genuinely think the letter is good news. Hope it's a good year for you!

It's been a while since I checked, but I don't believe the Fighter's or Mage's Guild dailies give a faction bonus. The Undaunted definitely does, tho.

Since Pelinal was an automaton/robot, it wasn't really "armor", the metal was his body. Oblivion isn't a physical place; everything you see there is a projection of your mind, so the armor you see is what you expect it to look like. But my point was more that images of Pelinal are artistic interpretations based on the artist's culture and biases more than they are factual. We don't know what he looked like. As a comparison, TES:Oblivion shows statues of Morihaus as fully human , and we know that isn't right...but all the usual minotaur depictions are also incorrect, as he had wings.

@@Tamriel_Tidbits By Oblivion, i meant the game Oblivion where you can find Pelinal Whitestrake's armor in an Ayleid ruin. Also Pelinal wasn't a full on robot since it was said he had hair stained brown from Mer Blood. I never bought into the idea that he was a robot considering there was no real proof of the case. Also the reason Morihaus is depicted as a human is because Alessia didn't want people to know she was having a sexual relationship with a Minotaur.

I'm still grinding them--the 3rd lead from the MM incursions just won't drop. I want the full Codex!

Which begs the question of whether Shor's soul/essence was inside the robot body, or if it was being... remotely controlled from another plane. Mostly when we see souls inside metal bodies, the soul is insane, but there are a couple of exceptions. I'd never really thought about that w/r/t Pelinal before. I'm also now wondering if the Pelinal lore ties more directly into the Numidium lore than I previously considered.

If it makes you feel better, there are different sizes of werewolves and different sizes of minotaurs. Some of the minos would just swat that WW. :)

Just checked TTC, and none are listed on any guild store, so my guess is that they are bound.

Maybe, but I genuinely believe Ithelia and the Magna Ge will be more and more important as we go forward, in ESO, and in the solo games. The lore vids that get the most YT views are more old-school, and I love them, but ESO is putting outstanding new lore on the table for discussion. Having said that, the Good Daedra are tied into Ithelia, too, and I'm planning on framing those for the more traditional crowd. Thanks for the feedback--I was still waffling on that, and you helped me make up my mind. :)

That's a fair criticism, and thank you for pointing that out. I didn't talk about the fact that you have to finish the questline to get the deck. The point I should have made is that the hassle is worth it, b/c the deck is so useful. In the meantime, the bank's core deck has card destruction cards, and when those come up in the tavern, they're far more important than they might seem. Any chance to you get to cull cards will be to your advantage. Sorry for the delay; was extended afk for the holiday.

I can see what you mean, but I genuinely don't think that's true. I believe the Magna Ge and Ithelia concepts have been in play behind the scenes for at least 12 years. The first mention of the Magna Ge, and reference to the book the Nine Coruscations and Memno-Li, was in a book called "The Exegesis of Merid-Nunda" found in Coldharbour in the base game. The concept of the Prisoner as the destroyer of the Towers has been around longer than that. I really think this has been the plan for a long, long time. Whether or not you feel it works is a different matter, but ZOS doesn't have the ability to "go rogue" on something this big; it had to be planned w/Bethesda.
