I’m late to the party 😅 But only a couple weeks ago, I saw a video that someone ranked / compared different pasta brands. And it was said that La Molisana and De Cecco were very good especially for being in a similar price range to Barilla (the brand I used for over a year) I tried de cecco last week and omg so so much better than barilla it’s not even close. Thus I’m having high hopes for la molisana :)
La Molisana is really good. If you get your hands on more an artisan italian pasta brands those are even better. But for a commercial brand can't beat La Molisana
@ yeah I heard that too about commercial vs artisan etc. They seem quite pricey though But I’ll prob try them like during Xmas or a bday etc as a treat 😅

You unlocked the grinder by turning anti clockwise, however when replacing the grinder you didn't turn it clockwise to lock it in 😊

I have the same model but with an M after the numbers. There is no lock/unlock and it won't turn.

Our machine wont grind the coffee for some reason. Theres a red basket icon though. Do you have a fix for this? Thank you!
A red basket icon usually indicates that the hopper is empty and needs to be filled with beans
You turned counter clockwise at start but didn't turn the head Clockwise after putting it back 🤔 need to?
Little help, please. I cleaned grinder and it still sometimes blocks when it grinds. Like it gets stuck in the middle of grinding the beans.

La Molisana is a 7 so good but it isn't a 10

did you ever figure this out? im havin this issue too, Ive replaced the gasket with success before. this time its not working so im suspecting its something else...
@@devo_crowwithknife I had it leaking inside had to send the machine in for repair... it came back and now it keeps blowing out the oring

Could be the bean, how fast it draws and temp etc. I will usually pull the tamping lever a few times to get a firm press. Hope that helps. Also I like to draw some of the hot water from the spout and get the cups nice and warm
I bought the Kirkland San Marzano DOP last week and like you made a sauce with just salt, good olive oil and fresh basil. I didn’t use the blender, just hand crushed. The pizza was very good. I still may prefer the more robust flavor of the Cento certified (Not DOP) from the same region. You added more salt than I did, I'll make that adjustment. Thanks for sharing. Love the kids.

Hi, my grinder alarm keep blinking even if switching it off what does it mean. I have tried to clean removing hopper and clean and follow all the procedure but still blinking

I believe that's a fair score. 👌 For an everyday pasta much better than Brilla. There's some nice artisan pastas out there

No, don't blend the tomatoes! If you break any of the seeds it makes the sauce more acidic. Hand crush only. You're welcome.
Absolutely 💯, the sauce is not blended if you notice I pulse it . Which would definitely break the seeds. You don't have to only hand crush only. I'm quite comfortable using my blender, and I am 100% comfortable using it without breaking the seeds. But you can definitely use your hands or even a potato masher Cheers .
I respectfully disagree. I don't want to chance it and I want some texture from the san marzanos. You can do what you want though.

Your grinding burrs are probably not installed properly. I believe I have a video showing how to clean the grinder and install it.

So it is like a dry ferment as opposed to a wet ferment (i.e. sour dough). I will have to go buy me a plastic container to try this. Thanks.
